"I'll see you outside? I gotta inform my friend I'm heading home, and can't have dinner with him."

"Canceling dinner plans for me," he said, smirking.

"I just canceled a dinner plan with a friend, not a date like someone I know did." she said, showing off her own smirk.

"Okay, okay" he raised his hands in surrender.

He sat there waiting for me to tell Mark. Realizing he was waiting for me, "You go on, I also have to go to the washroom, so...." I told him wanting to talk to Mark alone, without him around.

"Yea okay cool, I'll be waiting."

I nodded and went towards Mark.

"Hey Mark, umm...I gotta go.."

"At that hottie's place."

"Umm kind of something like that."

"Well this proves that you've broken up with that William guy."

"Something like that, yea." she said nodding.

"Is something like that your new favorite line Rose?"

"Oh god no, nothing like that."

"Yea something like that, Nothing like that." He teased her.

"Oh god stop Mark!" I said laughing.

"Fine, fine I won't waste your time I can see you are in a hurry." he said giving me a suggestive look.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Nothing like that Mark."

"Alright, alright see ya."

"Yupp, I will call you."

Saying this I moved to go on but I turned back to Mark. He stood in the same position as if he knew I was gonna turn back to him.

"Umm. I...should I maybe not do this?"

"And why not?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

"I don't know, I have never done this, what if he is a criminal? And also I drove myself here, so what about my car."

"Do not worry about your car, I will take care of it. Come back tomorrow and pick it up. And if after having a passionate night with a hot stranger, you will come to know you slept with a criminal! A criminal! It would like make it all a hundred times hotter babe."

"I have never done this before, I have always worried, I have always thought about the consequences and then did things, this is like so scary. It's like walking ahead with eyes closed."

"You do know that there are a lot of people who are blind, and they walk and do their daily tasks without any help, they do it by themselves."

"Uggh it's a different thing, they didn't suddenly become blind and even if they did then they didn't just start walking on the road by themselves, they first practised and then they went on their own."

"Rose, exactly what I'm trying to tell you! You can't just know how to do it without ever doing it, you have to do it at some point, you have to start at some point."

" You are right." This time she said it with more confidence.

"Maybe I should do this, yea sure, yeah let's do this." She said with a new kind of excitement bubbling inside of her. The kind of excitement that she has never had, the excitement of doing something new, something dangerous, maybe something bad.

"That's my girl." He hollered.

Smiling and feeling on a new kind of high she went out.

Leaning on in the wall stood Dave with a cigarette between his lips. In his company also stood a girl who seemed to flirt. She said something which made him smirk. Moving her body close to his she whispered something in his ears. And his hands went to her waist. They stared at each other in a sultry way.

Looking at the scene, Rose felt angry and disgusted.

She wanted to go and slap him right in his face. It wasn't just him being flirty with another girl that made her so angry, it was her having a shitty experience with two men at the same day.

Shaking herself out of the anger she went in the opposite direction and got herself an Uber to go home. After all these she felt tired and in no mood to drive herself home. And she knew that Mark would take care of her car.

Reaching home she straight went to her bed and laid down with her face facing upwards towards the ceiling.

She felt immensely sad. It's like every part of her wanted to scream, wanted to cry.

Trying to get herself out of the sadness she decided to watch a movie. Scrolling through Netflix she couldn't find anything worthy to watch. Rolling her eyes she closed her iPad. Now she had decided that she would do something that is the best thing ever, that is sleeping. "Sleeping would make me feel better", she thought. "I might feel fresh and different." Thinking this she closed her eyes and drifted off to another world, a world where she hoped the sadness would go away.

Hearing her phone ring, she tried opening her eyes. After a lot of groans and cries of frustration she managed to find her phone.

Unlocking the phone she saw 7 missed calls from Mark, and also a few texts from him.

Seeing his texts all her memories of the day before came back rushing to her. And she felt sad all again. It hadn't even been a good minute since she woke up and she felt like all her energy had been drained off. Breathing out she kept her phone on the table and fell back on the bed. Staring at nothing in particular she fell back to sleep.

She woke up again in the afternoon when her body felt parched and in major need of water. Groaning, she woke up and got herself a water bottle from the fridge. Opening the cap, she drank the water and decided she needed to get out of the house. She brushed her teeth, had a warm bath and left her house. Going down she remembered she didn't have her car with her. Groaning, she ordered an Uber to go and get her car from the pub.

Reaching the pub she went straight towards the parking lot and looked for her car. She found her car at the same place as she had parked yesterday. Sitting in the car she drove to her favourite breakfast place. Although it was afternoon, she wanted some bacon and eggs and maybe some waffles.

While waiting for her order she decided to reply to Mark's text, when a new notification popped up on her screen.

Looking at the texts she rolled her eyes. Even she knew why he wanted her there so desperately.

Ignoring those texts for now she opened Mark's text and re read the old texts and saw there were a lot of new texts too.

Looking at the text messages she smiled. "It's good to see that someone cared" she thought. Smiling she dialed Mark.

"Hey"

"Oooohh someone's alive.."

"Ehh I had a rough night."

"Woahhhh really?" He asked in a teasing way

"Not rough in the way you're thinking Mark."

"Then? In a bad way?"

"Yeaa"

"What happened?"

"It's like a really long story I'll tell you when we meet up?"

"Awwh I hate being kept in a suspense. I'm gonna think and think what happened the whole day."

"Okay I'll tell you what you really want to know. I didn't go to his place."

"Whyyy?? What had happened?"

"When I went out I saw him flirting with some other girl, that ruined my mood so I straight went home."

"Ohh that's bad. I mean even if you guys are not dating and gonna do this one time thing, still it's disrespectful."

"Yupp exactly."

"Okay so what time do you wanna meet? And where?

"Let's meet at my place and at what time are you gonna get off work tonight?"

"We'll it's gonna be quite late, cause my coworker called in sick so I will have to cover for her too, cause I already told my boss that I'll cover for her."

"Ohkayy, how much late?"

"Like 11."

"Okay no problem then, come straight to my place after that."

"You sure?"

"Yupp."

"Okayy then, see ya and take care, Okayy??

"Yupp yup I'll, bye, see ya."

After finishing her food she paid and left a good amount of tip for the waiter.

Getting her coffee she went back at her place and decided to do some work.

She got her laptop and started working while sipping on her coffee.

She loved her work. Most of the students hated doing the assignments and homeworks, but she never once felt that way. Because robots fascinated her. She loved learning new things about then everyday. And what she loved even more was trying to make what she had learned.

When she was finally done with her work it was night. Looking at the time she saw it was 10. She did feel hungry but she thought that mark will be here soon, so they'll order food then. To tame her hunger for the time being she decided to munch on a bag of chips. Getting it from the kitchen she sat on the couch and got her iPad. Blackpink had released their new song shut down for their new album born pink. She had totally forgot about it. Pleased with herself for remembering it she opened the YouTube app and saw the song on the trending page. Clicking on the video she started eating it. After watching it once she watched it repeatedly enjoying every second of it.

Just when she was about to listen to the other songs of the album the doorbell rang. Looking at the time she saw it was 11:40. She knew it was Mark.

Getting up she opened the door for him.

"Heyy." He waved with the pizza boxes in his hand.

"Hi" she said stepping aside for him to come in.

"Woah you bought pizza! I was thinking of ordering it when you come here."

"Off course I did. I know you love pizza the most."

"That I do."

Sitting over at the couch they opened the pizza boxes to get ready to eat.

"Wait, how about some red wine?."

"Oh hell yeaaa."

Listening to his response she simpered and went to get the wine and glasses.

Mark follwed her.

"So do you wanna start talking now?."

"Hmm yea fine let's do that."

"Okayy I'm ready, go on."

Just when she opened her mouth to speak her phone rang.

She saw it was her so called boyfriend. Contemplating she picked up the call.

"Hey."

"Hey babe, is everything good?"

"Yeah why?" She asked and just the. She remembered his text message which she

forgot to answer.

"I texted you and you didn't reply."

"Oh you did? I'm sorry babe I didn't check my phone today. I has a lot of assignments to do.."

Listening to the word babe Mark was shocked. He came in front of her and asked mouthing,"Babe!!????" and he was making hand gestures. He looked funny. Telling him to be quite and wait for a minute she turned the other way.

"Ohh, you must be so tired. I wish I could come to you but sadly I'm so busy too."

"Yea off course you are busy, busy in sleeping with you new b*tch." she thought.

"Oh really?? Why? What happened?" She asked faking she forgot about Monday.

"Babe. You don't remember?"

"Remember what babe?"

"My art exhibition."

"Ohh right right, how could I forget that."

"Yeaa how could you forget that?" he asked annoyed.

"Oh are you angry with me?" She asked

"Off course not babe."

She smiled hearing his response. She knew he wanted her there with him at any cost. She knew he will make sure they don't fight. He will be extra sweet to her, because he wants her there with him.

"I know how hectic you assignments can be, I understand it babe."

"You're so understanding babe, how did I get such an amazing boyfriend?"

"Oh I'm not that amazing. You're the one who makes me amazing."

"That's true." she thought.

"Okay babe, sorry but I need to get back to my assignment."

"Oh it's alright, let's talks tomorrow, okay?"

"Yupp." Saying this she cut the call.

"Woah woah woah, did you guys not break up?? What's going on?? Babe!!!?? Dude he cheated on you."
