To this day, my favorite Greek myths would be the ones about Atalanta, Otrera, Athena and Artemis. Atalanta was a powerful women, her name meant "equal in weight" because no man was able to dominate her. Otrera was the first Queen of the Amazons, a race of warrior women. Athena was the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy, the perfect combination of beauty, brains and brawn. Artemis was the goddess of hunting and wild animals, skilled with a bow and needed no man to protect her.
