Zoe's POV

I was nervous about who would speak first. Alex or my parents. I sat by Alex waiting for the first hit. My parents didn't speak they just looked at us, which was more terrifying. Alex took a deep breath and so did I.

"Would you at least say something?" I asked.

"What's the connection? I don't want you to dancing around the answer." Dad spoke. I look at Alex who gave me a confident nod. I sighed then looked at my parents knowing this would change everything.

"Me and Alex are a thing." I said.

"A thing?" Mom quizzed.

"Me and Zoe are dating." Alexander said.

"YOUR WHAT?!?!" Mom and dad yelled in union.

"We're dating each other." I said.

"For how long!?" Mom asked with a temper.

"Almost a year." Alexander said.

"When were you planning on telling us?!" Dad asked.

"We were actually going to tell you once you got back from your mission. But since Zoe decided to take an attempt at breaking me out, you found out in away we were trying to avoid." Alexander explained truthfully.

"How can we believe you?" Dad asked.

"I didn't want you guys to find out at all." I admitted.

"What?" Mom quizzed.

"We had an argument over what we should do, Alex gave me two weeks then he would tell you." I explained.

"Why would he care that we knew? Especially since he thought it would be like this." Mom asked.

"She's your daughter, you guys deserve the right to know. I knew you would find out one way or another, my plan was to just come clean but things can't really be planned out to the exact time." Alexander said.

"You tried to kill her." Dad pointed out.

"We met at the Imperial Party that I went to for the undercover mission. When I went to dance, he asked me. When I disappeared from the ball room, Alex took me to the boating docks." I explained.

"Why the boating dock?" Dad asked.

"It's the best place to look at stars and the way the moon reflects off the water is really beautiful." Alexander said.

"We talked to each other over the com. When we met up again we went to dinner and laid in the fields of Lothal." I said.

"When did you find out about him being an Inquisitor?" Mom asked.

"Umm... not long before you and your crew saved her, it's my worst memory." Alex answer regretfully.

"What if you betray us?" Dad asked Alex.

"Dad!" I barked.

"Zoe." Alex said scoldingly.

       Alexander's POV

  "Dad!" Zoe barked.

"Zoe." I said scolding her. She looked shocked at my actions and so did her parents.

"I wouldn't betray you guys." I said.

"How do we know you won't trade our base location?" Sabine asked.

"If I was going to betray the rebellion, and give away your base location. I would have done it already." I explained.

"Mom, dad. Please give this a chance." Zoe begged.

"I can't let you two out until your case is clear." Ezra explained. We nodded.

"Okay." I said.

"Do we get o stay in the same cell?" Zoe asked hopeful.

"Fine. Remember this isn't over." Ezra groaned and left. Once  Ezra and Sabine left Zoe launched herself at me and hugged me.

"We did it." She squealed. I hugged her back and planted kisses all over her face.

"I told you so!" I laughed.

Ezra's POV

After we left I felt joy exploding from both of them. I couldn't wrap my mind around them being a couple. I knew Zander would be super mad, so would Kanan.

"What are you thinking about?" Sabine asked.

"Why are we allowing this?" I quizzed.

"We need to let her see we trust her. Plus, Alexander seems like a nice boy." Sabine commented.

"Sure." I sighed as we arrived at command.

"Maybe not good enough for your baby girl through your eyes but, give this a chance." She begged.

"Fine." I sighed. I saw Hera and Kanan rushing towards us.

"Is Zoe okay?" Hera asked.

"Yeah, turns out the two of them have been dating for almost a year!" I explained.

"They have been what?!?!" Hera and Kanan asked.

"I know." I groaned.

"But, he seems like a good kid so we are gonna give him a chance." Sabine said.

     Zander's POV

  I saw Evie, Stella, Gigi and Zeb all rushing to the prison block so I followed silently. I snuck ahead and saw Zoe and the apprentice hugging.

"I told you so!" The apprentice laughed only for Zoe to put her arms around his neck and plant a kiss on his lips. My eyes widened and I fought the urge to bust in there. They separated and if on cue Evie, Stella, Gigi and Zeb ran in the cell. The girls tackled Zoe and the apprentice into a hug. I quickly left before I was caught. 

       Zoe's POV

   I sensed something but, before I could alert Alexander, me and Alex were tackled into a hug.

"Are you guys okay?" Gigi asked.

"What did mom and dad say?" Evie asked.

"Can you guys leave the cell?" Stella asked.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down." Alexander chuckled. I smiled at his father like actions towards my siblings.

"Can you guys leave the cell?" Stella asked.

"Not quite yet." I answered.

"What did mom and dad say?" Evie asked.

"They are gonna give me a chance to prove myself." Alex said.

"Yay!" Evie cheered and hugged Alexander tightly I could tell he was shocked by my sister's actions. But, he hugged her back. I knew that he would meet the crew soon and I would make sure he made a good first impression.
