Character Bio

Carmina Audra "Catty" Beckett is the main protagonist and narrator in the PROVIDENCE series. She is portrayed by Benedetta Porcaroli.

Catty is a twenty-three year old formerly boarding school academy student at Providence Academy, alongside her childhood best friends, Leigh Ann Michaels and Sasha Jones. She is also a former cheerleader on the cheer-squad, The Nova Panthers. She is the girlfriend to Grayson Baxter and is the former girlfriend-turned-best friend to Sebastian Sykes.

Her father, Peter Beckett, is the police captain of the small town of Providence and her mother, Fernkenzie Beckett, is the head of the Special Agent Task Force.

While Grayson was at the Providence Juvenile Detention Center, Catty visited him with breakfast and lunch whenever she could. But Grayson, feeling dejected and not wanting Catty to see him in the juvenile detention center, wanted her to stop visiting him and therefore, he let her go by breaking up with her, which hurt them both.

After awhile, Catty didn't pursue a relationship with Sebastian (because she didn't want him to think that she was with him just because Grayson was at the juvenile detention center or to make him feel like a romantic distraction until Grayson was released). But Sebastian understood and eventually, Sebastian and Catty began a romantic relationship.

Visiting the swimming hole and taking a swim, Grayson and Catty shared a tender moment by sharing a kiss. However, upon feeling remorseful, Catty told Sebastian, in which he forgave her.

Sebastian and Catty broke up upon him getting tricked by sociopath Jade Ester. But much later, Sebastian and Catty reconciled their relationship and she made amends with her other best friend, Roxy.

After the showdown involving The Red Mask serial killer, it was revealed to be Jade Ester and her parents, the community center, (now known as The Smith-Griffith-Marks Community Center), is now in trouble with wealthy businessman, Remy Levesque.

After telling Sebastian that she kissed her ex-boyfriend, Grayson Baxter, he forgive her. And after telling Sebastian at senior prom, that she kissed make-out with Grayson, Sebastian forgive her and understood the connection between Grayson and Catty.

And after graduation, Sebastian and Catty parted on good terms.

Six years later, Catty, along with the Beckett Crew, has returned back to the small town of Providence to restore it back.

Physical Appearance

Chiara is a 5'3 feet young adult lady with a thin and slender figure. She has blonde hair that reaches to her chest and deep blue eyes. She usually wore her hair in a ponytail or whatever hairstyle she chooses, but now, she wears her hair down. She formerly wore her boarding school uniform while she was at a boarding school academy and whenever she worked her work shift at Rochelle's Diner, she wore her waitress with sneakers. Unfortunately, Catty has a little secret of her own; she has a dark-side called "Dark Catty", in which she wore a black lingerie bra, stockings with Mary Jane shoes and a silver haired-banged wig upon exacting her revenge on mean girl, Alyssa Laurent. She has a cut wound on her right cheek.

Six years later, still a young adult, Catty has changed from wearing her hair in her usual ponytail to wearing her hair down.

Personality

Catty is the smarty-brains among her best friends, The Beckett Crew. She is caring, compassionate, generous and friendly, and sincere. She is bold and stands her ground. (E.g, she bolded up to Alyssa and stood her ground and told her off.) She offers a helping hand to those who need it.

Due to her father being the Sheriff and her mother being a Special Agent, Catty has a knack for amateur-sleuth. (E.g. She helped her mother with the investigation case of the three murders of Joaquin Smith, Mandy Griffith and Arnold Marks and solved it. She also used her amateur detective skills to help her Mom again to solve The Red Mask serial killer, who turned out to be Jade Ester and her parents. And also, Catty helped her Mom to solve the investigation case against Mafia wealthy businessman, Remy Levesque and The Scarecrow serial killer, who was Alyssa's mother, Ms. Laurent, who also murdered her ex-husband, Clarence Laurent and made it looked like Clarence was killed by The Scarecrow serial killer.)
