Raven pov : My heart stopped as I heard claps coming from the Slytherin tabel. I pulled off the hat and sat next to Glove while she gave me a high five. I read about how all Slytherin usually end up working with the Dark Lord. Perhaps it was true and Perhaps I could find out. I looked around to see Prille giving me a dirty look. I saw that boy from the shop watching me and I waved slightly. He quickly turned away. My face felt hot as I put my hand down. "Kasey Milestone!" The girl from the great hall with braces sat down timidly. " HUFFELPUFF! "
Soon the soarting was over and Headmistress McGonagall called everyone to eat. The plates piled high with food and I began to eat. I hardly spoke. When everyone finished the prefects took us to the Slytherin commons in the Dungeons. I went up to the Girls dormitory with the others. I laid down next to my stuff. The cold hard bed felt foreign and I missed my comfortable bed at the shop.

That morning I grabbed my wand and books before heading to the Great Hall. The rules at Hogwarts was that you had to attend at least 200 classes out of the 220 classes in the year. Also for the first 3 weeks of school prefects came with the younger students to help the proffesors. That morning I had potions with Proffesor Kerr. I walked up with the rest of the Slytherin and prefects to Potions. We walked in to see the tall brown haired teacher. He had a beard and glasses. " Good Morning Class! Take your seats. Do I have the class of Gryffindor and Slytherin?" He asked. We all said yes and I saw Prille talking with 2 other girls. " Today we will be brewing the potion Babbling Beverage! Does anyone know what this potion does?"
I raised my hand and looked around. I was the only one. " Yes?"
" Raven. My name is Raven Blackwood and the potion makes those babble nonsence." " CORRECT Miss.Blackwood! POINT SLYTHERIN!" I Smiled and winked at Prille who rolled her eyes. We started making the potion and I memorized it. Proffesor Kerr smiled at me while he graded my potion. " Looks like Slytherin have they're very own Hermione Granger." I blushed since that was a compliment. Hermione granger was a brave, powerful witch who helped defeat Voldemort. After that class we went to Defence Against The Dark Arts. When we arrived I realized we had it with Huffelpuff. I saw that boy from before and before we headed in I pulled him aside. " Hi. I never got your name. I'm Raven." I smiled slightly and took out my hand for to shake. " Miles." He said not moving. I slowly put my hand down. " What's wrong? You always seemed so nice!" I mumbled to him. " So did you." He said. Then he walked in the class. I quickly walked in and sat while Miles, Glove and the other prefects lignin against the wall doing homework. " Welcome! I am Proffesor Kipling but you can call me Kip. Today we will be practicing various curses. The first one is the curse The Babbling Curse. Get a partner and begin. Prefects walk around and help." I turned and looked for anyone to pair up with. "Hey wanna be partners?" I turned to see Kasey smiling at me. I nodded my head and pulled out my wand. " Ready?" I asked and she nodded her head. I said the spell and Kasey immediately became Toungue tied. " Good Class! Now the next one is Confringo! This is a blasting curse you do this one at the fur coats in front of you. " I pointed my wand at the coat but before I went I saw Miles at the corner of my eyes holding onto Kasey arms and guiding her wand. " Like that." He said in her ear while she giggled and blushed. " Confringo!" Little fluffs came out as they cheered and high fived. I felt myself get Jealous and Angry. I looked down to see my hair turning red and green. " CONFRINGO!" I shouted at the coat exploded in feathers. Feb spell was to much and the entire tabel exploited causing fluff on everyone's coats at that tabel to expload. Everyone stared at me in awe while I quickly dropped my wand. Proffesor Kipling walked over slowly. " Well I'll be damned..." I looked at Miles and I saw his face was red in shock. " Sorry Proffesor!" I said and he shook his head. " No you did nothing wrong." He and the prefects cleaned up the mess with spells before we all left. " That was awesome!" Said Kasey and Glove while they caught up to me. " No! I messed up!" "What?! No you just used to much power that was even better the Harry Potter in his first year! And Hermione Granger." Said Glove. I smiled slightly while we walked to lunch talking. Till Proffesor Kerr came up to me. " Headmistress McGonagall needs to see you in her office" he said. I swallow hard as I sported to the Headmistress office
