Raven pov : I walked among the people everyone looking at me like I was crazy. I suddenly felt strange among the robes and wands. I let my long purple hair wave back and forth while I continued to walk. I walked past a family I heard the word "Mudblood." I continued to walk along looking for a place to change my clothes. Then I saw a shop. It said 'Madam Malkin Robes For All Occasions." I quickly ran inside. "Hello?" I asked seeing the deserted shop. BANG! I turned to see a tray of cookies on the ground with an older looking women staring at me. " Raven?" She asked. " Um how do you know my name?" I asked. She shook her head. " You Don't remember- um what are you doing here?" She said mid sentence. " I want something to fit in more wherever I am. " She sighed and pulled out a stick from here pocket. " Tergeo!" The cookies were then flew over to a nearby trash can. I jumped back. " Who are you!" I asked. She gave me a curious look. "I am a witch. And this is the Wizarding world. This is Diagon Alley where you will get supplies for when you go to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is the school for witchcraft and Wizardry. You are a witch Raven and you will be going to school." I shook my head and stepped back. " No your mistaken I have no magic!"
" Oh really? Why do you have purple hair?"
"My mom told me I was born with it."
She gave me a look. I rolled my eyes. " So! Fine. But where am I supposed to stay. And when does Hogwarts start? Can I tell my parents?" " You may stay here with me and my husband. Hogwarts starts next week and I'll send word to your parents. " I thanked her as she took me over to get my robes. After that I went next door to Peter Boat Twine and Rope. I went in to see a man the same age as Madame Malkin. " Hello!" I said cheerily the man saw me and put his hand on his chest as if he just saw a ghost. " Its- Raven!" He ran up and hugged me. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He smiled and pulled away. " How did you-" I pushed him back scared and told him what Madame Malkin had told me. " Why did you huh me?!" I asked. "Oh! You don't remember. I am...a friend of your parents. I remember when you were born. " I nodded my head. " Am I a half human half witch?"
"Humans are called Muggle and you are not a muggle. Your mom was a witch. But your dad's not. Your a half blood." "Why didn't they tell me?!" I shrieked. " They didn't want this life for you." He stretched out his hand toward the door. " Come, let's go get your wand and books." We left the shop and got my books from various places. We then went to an owl shop to get one for me. I picked out a snow white one except there was a loan black feather. " Wow. Aren't you special!" I giggled. I picked her out and let the man who's name I now knew as Jacob pay. We then went to a animal shop to pick out another animal. I picked out a Black cat. Stereotypes.
Then we went to Ollivanders Wand shop. Jacob laughed as he desperately tried to hold my new cat and owl. I called the owl Joy and Cat Jewel. I walked in the shop to see a young man. " Hello! Are you ollivander?" The man flitched. " I'm his son." I nodded my head. " I'd like a wand-" the man began to pull out various wands and handing them to me. I picked up a dark one and felt it. " Hmm. I dont-" he quickly pulled it back and gave me another. Wand after wand I went through until I picked up a white one. " Wow this feels good!" " Ah ha! 10 1/3 holly wood threstral tail hair wand! Rare wood. Goes to a person embarking on a dangerous or spiritual quest. Very protective and usually goes to those with anger issues and carelessness. Very powerful, strong and great magic and works well if you witnessed death. Harry potter had Holly wood and Albus Dumbledore had threstral tail hair. My my you certainly are one very lucky girl." I blushed. " Who's Harry potter?" The man scowled at me as Jacob quickly paid for the wand." He left the shop and I asked who Harry potter was again. " You'll find out soon enough. Here you can borrow some of my books about the history of the Wizarding world." I nodded my head as we headed back to the shop.
