Chapter 8 a Larger Universe Part 1
"Looks like you can come home now bro" Ronnie Anne said to Bobby.
"Yes we are so glad you're feeling better." Said His mother.
"Oh man I can't wait to get out of this hospital." Said Bobby. "Sleep in my own bed, and get back to work."
"At the police station?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"No" Bobby replied. "I think I'll start working full time at the bodega. Give police work a rest for now."
"Well that sounds nice." Said Lori. "Would hate for you to get hurt again, or even killed. Then I'll never be able to see you again."
"Oh don't worry babe." Said Bobby as Lori helped him into a wheel chair. "I'm going to be around for a long time."
"Let's hope so, Bobby boo boo bear." Lori said with a smile, as she wheeled Bobby down the hall way.
Lori wheeled Bobby out into the blinding light. Bobby could hear a crow, cawing in the distance, or maybe it was a raven.
Outside his friends and family were all waiting for him.
"Bobby!" came a familiar, and happy voice.
Bobby turned his head to see Lincoln Loud, walking up to him, his arms outstretched for a hug.
"Glad to see you're better." Said Lincoln as he hugged Bobby.
"Glad to see you to buddy." Said Bobby hugging Lincoln back. "I thought you were dead."
"He recovered." Lori explained with a warm smile. "And we're very glad to have him back."
"But not as glad as we are to have you back Bobby." Lincoln added with a smile.
"HI Bobby!" Leni walked up to him. "I'm so glad to see you're better! I got this totally adorable outfit for you as a welcome back present."
"We all got you a little something." Said Lori.
"Wow thanks guys." Said Bobby.
"Glad to see you're all better partner." Chris walked up to Bobby, a Raven resting on his shoulders.
"Chris I..." Bobby stammered. "Ok seriously dude, I actually SAW you die. The FUCK is going on!"
Chris leaned into Bobby's ear. Chris's eyes started to glow red, and the world went dark around him. "Oh come on Boo Boo bear." Chris said, "You know. I can't stop this feeling, deep inside of me."
"What?" Said Boby, as Chris started to sing.
"Girl you just don't realize, what you do to me." Chris sang.
Then Lincoln wrapped his arms around Bobby, and started to join in the song. "When you hold me, in your arms so tight" Lincoln sang. "You let me know."
"Everything's all right" Lori sang as she pushed Bobby away.
As Bobby rolled away from Lori, Leni grabbed him, and spun him around to face the others.
Once she spun Bobby around to see the rest of his family and friends, he noticed two things.
One; They each had bright red glowing eyes. And two; Chris, who was standing in the center of them, had changed his entire outfit.
He had on a bright blue t-shirt, red leather pants, and a long red leather trench coat.
Essentially he was dressed exactly like Chris Pratt, from Gaurdians of the Galaxy.
"I-I-I!" Chris sang in the loudest voice he could. "I'm HOOKED ON A FEEELING!"
"I'm high on believing!" Leni sang, passing Bobby back to Lori.
"That you're in love with me" Lori sang, she then passed him back to Leni.
"Lips as sweet as candy." Leni sang, swinging him around. As she did, his heart sank as he saw the figure standing before him.
A tall dark shadowy figure, with glowing red eyes.
"Pariah!" Bobby said to himself.
"Your taste is on my mind." The dark figure sang, in that deep, soothing, yet now unsettling southern voice.
Then Lincoln came up to Bobby. "Girl you got me thirsty." He sang.
Then Ronnie Anne jumped in. "For anotherrrrr, cup of whiiiiiinnnnnne." She sang.
"Got a bug from you girl." Leni sang as she pushed him toward Pariah.
Shadowy tentacles grabbed Bobby's wheel chair.
"But I don't need no cure" the shadowy figure sang out. "You'll just stay my victim. Yes you will for suuuuuurrrrrrrrrreeeeeee." Bobby looked down to see that the ground below him had disappeared into a deep bottomless pit.
"Aaaaahhhhh!!!!!!" Bobby screamed.
Then Chris came up behind him, and placed his foot on the back of Bobby's wheel chair. "All the good love, when we're all alone." Chris sang as he kicked Bobby into the bottomless pit.
Bobby screamed as he fell into darkness.
He looked beside him to see the dark figure he knew as Pariah falling beside him. The figure had no real form, just a blob of darkness falling into nothingness. Darkness and that horrible face, just two red glowing eyes, and a crooked psychotic smile.
"Keep it up girl." The figure sang. "While I turn you off" Then shadowy tentacles wrapped around Bobby and everything went black.
He awoke in a black endless room, with Albert Wesker standing before him. "I-I-I I'm hooked on a feeling." Wesker sang.
Then Rick Sanchez appeared behind Bobby, "I'm high on believing." Rick sang.
Then Lori appeared beside him "That you're in love with me." She sang.
Then all the Loud siblings as well as Ronnie Anne, and Lincoln's friend Clyde appeared around him and started chanting "ooga chacka ooga chacka"
"All the good love." Lori sang. "When we're all alone."
"Keep it up girl." Albert Wesker sang.
Then the shadowy Pariah appeared on the other side of him, "yeah you turn me on." The figure sang.
Then everyone in the room (aside from Bobby) all sang in unison while dancing around Bobby, as ravens circled above. "I-I-I I'm hooked on a feeling, I'm high on believing, that you're in love with me. I'm hooked on a feeling, I'm high on believing, that you're in love with me. I said I'm hooked on a feeling, and I'm high on believing, that you're in love with me."
As the music died down, Bobby could see Albert Wesker, leaping through the air, in a pink dress, twirling a pink ribbon, like Lola in one of her beauty pageants.
Boby the closed his eyes, and everything went silent.
(The song above is Hooked on a Feeling, by Blue Swade, with some of the lyrics changed to fit the plot.)
Bobby opened his eyes. He was standing in his hospital room.
It was dark, and he was all alone.
"Hello Bobby." Came the awful voice of Pariah.
Bobby turned around to see the shadowy figure standing behind him.
"Looks like everyone came out to see you." Pariah turned his head to the window.
A crowd of people had gathered around the hospital.
Pariah, opened the window, and aimed a gun at the crowd.
"So who should I knock off first." Pariah asked.
"No one!" Bobby screamed. He tried to move, but his legs were stuck.
"How about, Clyde." Pariah suggested, aiming the gun at Lincoln's friend Clyde. "He's always trying to get between you and Lori."
"Oh come on man." Said Bobby. "Clyde's just a kid, he has a crush, he's never hurt anyone."
Pariah pulled the trigger, sending a bullet into Clyde's head, splattering his brains all over the ground.
"CLYDE!!!!" Screamed Lincoln. The little white haired boy, rushed to his dead friend. He picked up Clyde's body, and held him in his arms. "No Clyde please!" Lincoln begged. "Don't leave me like this!"
The crowd around him screamed and ran in circles.
"Now what about Lincoln." Pariah asked. "He never thought you were good enough for his sister Lori. He will never think of you like a brother."
"NO! Not Lincoln!" Bobby cried. "I love the little guy, he's like the little brother I never had!"
Pariah shot. The bullet hit Lincoln in the back of the head, coming out the front, blowing off half of his face. He fell down dead.
"Look how they all die." Said Pariah. "Like little ants, this is kind of fun. Ahahahaha!"
Lincolns sisters crowded around his body.
"Like fish in a barrel." Said Pariah, then he aimed the gun at Ronnie Anne. "How about sweet little sister. She never appreciated you anyway."
"No please stop!"
Pariah pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Ronnie Anne in the stomach. She fell to the ground screaming.
"Listen to her scream!" Said Pariah, with a sick thrill in his voice. Then he shot again, nailing Ronnie Anne in the face, ending her life.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" Bobby screamed.
"How about that sweet but dumb, Leni Loud." Pariah suggested. "I wonder, does she even have brains to shoot out. Only one way to find out."
He shot Leni in the head. Sure enough, brains splattered all over the pavement.
"LENI!!!!" Lori screamed. She caught Leni's body before it hit the ground. "No Leni why?!?! You didn't do anything to deserve this!"
"Now how about Lori." Pariah said with a sick and twisted smile.
"NO!" Bobby screamed. Finally he was able to build up the strength to move his legs. He grabbed a steak knife conveniently left on the table by his bed, and thrust it into Pariah's chest.
Pariah roared as Bobby tackled the dark figure into the hallway, into the light.
Bobby gasped in horror as he saw the body beneath him.
On the floor of that hallway, lay the sprawled out body of Lori Loud, with Bobby's knife dug deep into her chest. She stared up at the ceiling with a blank look.
Bobby's heart stopped. "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bobby screamed.
...
"GAH!" Bobby woke up in his hospital bed. It was night, a storm raged outside.
"What is it?" Asked Lori, who was sleeping by Bobby's side, now awoken by his nocturnal outburst. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah babe." He responded, "just a bad dream."
"Was it about that guy... Pariah?" Lori asked.
"Yeah, it... it was." Bobby said, "And something about Chris Pratt, and Blue Swade, and... and..." Bobby gulped. "And Albert Wesker in a dress."
"That's..." Lori started, "Unusual."
Bobby laid back down. He stared at the ceiling for a moment. "You know there was one good thing that happened in my dream."
"What was that?"
"Lincoln was still alive."
...
Lincoln sat on the couch as the storms raged outside.
He was watching a show on Netflix, an anime (Japanese animation) he had started watching before he got sick. Now that he was back, he figured he might as well finish it.
"Hey what are you watching?" Luan asked as she walked by.
"Death Note." Lincoln replied, shoveling popcorn into his mouth.
"Death Note?" Said Luan. "That sounds pretty scary."
"It's actually not."Said Lincoln. "it's not even technically a horror, it's a crime drama, whit a supernatural twist."
"Oh."
"See this guy named Light finds this notebook." Lincoln explained. "And whenever he writes a name in the notebook, that person would die."
"Gee that sounds like a bright idea." Said Luan. "Ha ha, get it?"
"Yeah." Said Lincoln. "Well any way. This detective named L has to try and find him. Now no one knows L's real name, so Light can't write him down in his notebook, and when L finds out who Light is, Light will go to jail. So it's a race to find each other's name."
"L?" Said Luan. "So is there an M and an N in the show too?" Luan began to laugh at her own joke.
"Actually yeah, there is." Lincoln responded.
Luan stopped laughing, "seriously? Hmm, you know this show sounds interesting, maybe I'll watch it with you."
"Well" Said Lincoln. "I would need to start all over so you can get caught up... but sure. I suppose I can pick up where I left off later." He then rewound to the first episode.
As Luan sat watching this show with Lincoln, she couldn't help but think to that terrible time just a few days ago (or is it weeks, I kind of lost track)
...
Luan had gotten up earlier than her sisters that morning. However it would appear Lincoln had gotten up before her.
Lincoln was sitting on the couch, motionless. The TV was not on, though Lincoln kept staring at it.
Luan walked over to him, his face was as pale as his hair, and his eyes had extremely dark circles under them.
If it weren't for his hair and cloths, Luan would think she was looking at Lucy (or perhaps a corpse).
"G-good morning Linc." Luan said.
Lincoln didn't budge.
"Are you ok?" Luan asked, "Do you still feel nauseous?"
Silence.
Luan could feel the hotness of tears forming in her eyes. She cared deeply for her little brother. Seeing him like this hurt more than getting hit in the face with a lemon pie, filled with razor blades and salt.
"Can I get you anything?" She asked.
Nothing.
Luan sat beside her sick little brother. She grabbed him and held him tight. For a few minutes, she sat there holding Lincoln, sobbing into his hair.
"water." He said weakly.
"Huh?"
"Think you can get me some water?" Lincoln asked quietly. His voice was so soft you could barely hear it.
"Sure yeah, anything else?" Luan asked.
"N-no... J-just some water."
Luan came back with a glass of water.
She sat next to Lincoln.
At this point Lincoln was too weak to hold the glass, so Luan held it up to his mouth so he could take smalls sips of the water.
"Easey Linc." She said, rubbing his back as he drank the water. "There you go."
Tears continued to roll down Luan's cheek.
Lincoln suddenly coughed up blood, filling the clear cup with crimson red.
"It's ok Lincoln." Luan reassured him. "I'll go clean this and get you a new glass."
She walked into the kitchen.
The glass was full of not only blood, but little chunks of flesh, likely from his lungs.
She emptied the glass into the sink and started to clean it.
Tears rolled down her face as she watched her brother's blood flow down the sink drain.
She closed her eyes tight, and hot tears poured more fiercely down her face.
She came back into the living room, with a fresh glass of water.
Luna then walked down the stairs. She took one look at Lincoln, then at Luan. Luna closed her eyes and gave a long sigh.
Mr and Mrs Loud emerged from their bedroom.
Just then Lincoln fell to the ground, and started shaking wildly.
"LINCOLN!!!!" Luan screamed.
"Oh my god!" Mrs Loud exclaimed, as she ran over to Lincoln.
"Oh man dude!" Luna yelled. "please not now! Just one more day. PLEASE!"
Luan fell to her knees and cried.
"We gotta get him to the hospital!" Cried Mr. Loud
"Can they even do anything at this point?" Luna asked.
"Well we can't just leave him to die." Said Luan.
Mrs. Loud held her dying son in her arms as he shook violently. Luan reached over and ran her hand through his white hair.
Luan continued to cry.
...
The subject matter of Death Note seemed a bit mature for Lincoln. However Luan was just happy to see her younger brother smile once more.
She looked at him and smiled.
He smiled back.
...
The next day, Lincoln was walking down the street, when he saw a women being assaulted by a couple of thugs in an alley.
"Get off of me!" The woman cried.
"Oh come on baby." Said one of the men, grabbing at her breasts. "I think you owe me."
"I don't owe you anything!" The woman said.
"Oh I think you do." The man then slapped the woman as hard as he could.
"Hey!" Lincoln said. "Leave her alone!"
The man looked at Lincoln and he and his buddies started to laugh. "Psh what are you gonna do about it kid? Go crying to your mommy?"
Lincoln gave him a stern look.
The man walked over to Lincoln, and aimed a gun to his face. "I suggest you stay out of other people's business, little boy."
Lincoln remained unmoved.
The man pressed the barrel of his gun to Lincoln's face. "You got a death wish boy?"
Lincoln then activated his claws, and sliced the man's forearm clean off.
His disembodied hand fell to the ground, dropping the gun.
"Gaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!" The man screamed holding his arm as a fountain of blood shot out. "What the hell are you, some sort of mutant? A demon?"
Lincoln then slashed the man across the stomach, spilling his intestines.
"God damnit!" the man yelled in pain and frustration. Then Lincoln slashed the man's throat.
Blood spewed from the man's throat like a sprinkler full of red cool aid.
The man fell flat of his face, dead.
One of the man's buddies charged at Lincoln with a steal pipe.
Lincoln knocked over a trash can, causing the thug to trip.
Once the thug was on the ground, Lincoln jabbed his claws into his back. The thug spat up blood, then Lincoln jammed his claws through the thug's skull, he then ripped the thugs head and spine from his body.
Lincoln stood in the alley slowly twirling the thugs head by his spine.
"FUCK YOU! YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Cried a third thug, as he pulled a gun out on Lincoln.
Lincoln then chucked the head of the second thug at the fire escape above the third thugs head.
The ladder of the fire escape came loose as the disembodied head hit it.
The ladder slammed down onto the third thug's head. The force of the steal ladder hitting it caused the thug's scull to explode into a million pieces.
A forth thug looked at Lincoln in sheer terror. "I'm sorry man! I didn't want any of this! Please don't kill me!" The man begged.
The fourth thug fell to his knees.
Lincoln Loud slowly walked up to him, his blood drenched claws glowing orange.
The forth thug bent down to his hands and knees, begging for mercy. "Please, I don't wanna die, I never wanted this kind of life. Those guys dragged me into this, I never wanted to hurt anybody."
A smirk formed over Lincoln's face. He reached over the thug, grabbed his underwear, and stretched them over the man's head.
Lincoln then gave the thug a good kick in the ass. The man got up and ran away crying, leaving a trail of piss behind him.
Lincoln started to giggle. Then he looked at the woman he had just saved.
She looked back at him with a look of shock and horror.
Lincoln took a look at his claws, then at the bloody mess he just made. He turned his arms back to normal.
He walked over to the women.
"I know what you're thinking." He said, in a soft and soothing voice. "But I'm not who you think I am. I'm not going to hurt you."
"Th-thank you" The woman said through her tears. Then she ran off.
Lincoln smiled a bit.
That woman's thank you gave him a warm fuzzy feeling.
...
"Director Sanchez." Said a police officer as he barged into Ricks lab.
"Director?" Rick Sanchez asked, confused.
"Yeah, you've been appointed head of the Pariah case." Said the officer. "also we may have a break in the case."
"We do?"
"Yeah, we need you in Royal Woods."
...
Rick arrived at the Royal Woods police station.
He was immediately approached by a young, skinny, but enthusiastic cop.
'Welcome aboard Director Sanchez." Said the cop, extending his hand for a hand shake.
"Can you cut this director shit?" Rick requested. "Just call me Rick. Officer uh." Rick squinted at the officer's badge. "Charlie Boon?"
"Yep" Said the tiny officer. "That's me!"
(Charlie Boon is a character from another Loud House fanfiction called "Somewhere over the Moon" By Paul Ferancik)
Charlie looked at his hand, he had been waiting for Rick to shake it for almost a minute, by now it wasn't going to happen. Charlie awkwardly put his hand down.
"So I hear you guys have a lead?" Rick said.
"Oh yeah." Said Charlie, with great excitement. "There was a Pariah attack just this morning, here i-in the royal woods. Come this way."
Charlie lead Rick into the morgue.
Sure enough, three butchered bodies lay on the tables in the cold sterilized room.
"Interesting." Said Rick. He examined the bodies. "Definitely a lot of claw marks."
Charlie stood behind Rick smiling eagerly. "Quite the find huh?"
"Maybe." Said Rick, "This might be a bigger find than you even know. See these claw marks." Said Rick pointing to one of the bodies.
"Yeah" Said Charlie.
"Well" Said Rick. "It may be nothing, but these claw marks look much smaller than that of Pariah's. And look at this guy, he got his throat slit. Pariah would usually cut the head clean off."
"So what exactly are you saying." Asked Charlie.
"Don't know yet." Rick looked through some papers. "I wonder if it's a coincidence that each victim here has a criminal record."
"Oh wait" Said Charlie, practically leaping with excitement. "I almost forgot to tell you, we have a witness!"
"I witness?" Said Rick, taking a drink from his flask. Since when has Pariah left witnesses?
Rick Sanchez, and another cop, sat down to interview the witness. A pretty young woman.
"So can you tell us what happened?" Rick asked
"Well" Said the women. "This guy, an ex boyfriend, he and a couple of his buddies tried to um... force themselves on me..."
"They raped you?" Rick asked.
"They tried to. But then... he came along, and he saved me." The women said.
"Intel says the guy with his throat slit was her ex." The cop told Rick.
"Pariah saved you?" Rick asked.
"Well, at first I thought it was Pariah, but I... He said he wasn't who I thought he was." The woman said. "Something about him felt, I dunno, kind. The way he looked at me, his voice, the look in his eyes. It all made me feel like I was safe now."
The other cop, a sketch artist, asked. "Can you tell me what this man looked like ma'am. The one who saved you from your ex."
"Man?" Said the woman. "Oh no, this wasn't a man."
"Huh?" Both the other cop and rick looked at each other.
"Was it a woman?" Rick asked.
"No it was." Said the women. "It was a young boy. I guess you could call that a man. But I'm sure he's a lot younger than what you were thinking."
"How old was this boy?" The cop asked. "18? 19? Early 20s?"
"Well gosh, if I had to guess." Said the woman, "I would say about... maybe 10 or 11. Definitely still in grade school."
"So like a really little kid?" Said Rick.
"That's crazy!" Said the cop. "I kid did this?"
"Well." Said Rick. "My grandson Morty, has done some crazy shit, and he's only 14. An 11 year old doing this is not impossible." Then Rick took a drink from his flask.
But could this kid really be pariah? Rick thought. Evidence so far says Pariah has been in the shadows for almost 40 years. At least if the Black Watch angle is to be believed, those top secret projects are from at least the 60s that would suggest Pariah to be an adult. But what if that's just coincidence. If Pariah was a kid this whole time, it would explain why the killings would start now, after all these years. But what of the motive, and the wounds. It's not like Pariah to leave a witness. Plus this women said this kid saved her, as if his motives were of the heroic kind. While I don't believe in good and evil, motivation is a totally different thing. Pariah, at least the Pariah that I know, his killings are almost random, and full of hate. The way the bodies were mutilated would suggest that pariah gains some sort of pleasure from killing. This kid on the other hand. did he really kill those men in order to save this woman? Well I can only be 100% sure of one thing... this is a hell of a lot more fun than listening to Jerry and Beth argue.
"Well can you tell me what this boy looked like?" asked the cop, taking out a sketch pad.
The woman did as asked, and described the suspect.
The women finished with, "and the most curious thing about him, was he had this really light blond, well, actually more like white hair."
"White hair?"
"Yeah, like a ghostly white, or like snow."
The cop looked at the sketch. "Well, not at all what I would have pictured a monster like Pariah to look like." He said, looking at the sketch of the young boy, with white hair, freckles, buck teeth a warm friendly smile. "Then again, people hardly ever look on the outside, like the true monsters they are on the inside."
"Yeah, Like Justin, urp, Bieber." Rick remarked. "HEYOOO!!! Nah but seriously, I have one more question for you miss."
"Yeah."
"What, urp, what did this boy sound like. Like his voice, how did it sound."
"Sweet, innocent." The woman said. "A very loving voice."
"He didn't happen to sound like Matthew McConaughey did he?"
"What? No of course not." Said the woman.
Rick turned to the sketch artist. "Don't let that sketch get out to the public yet." Said Rick.
He then left the room.
"Well, did she tell you anything?" Charlie asked.
"Well." Said Rick. "A bit. Now I think I can trust you Charlie, what I am about to tell you is totally classified."
"OK" Charlie nodded with excitement.
"Biggest thing, I'm not sure THIS killer, is Pariah."
"What makes you say that?"
"Well I, urp could be wrong but." Rick started. "The person this witness describes was a child."
"A child?"
"Yeah, and up until now, it seemed that Pariah was an adult. Plus he called me."
"wait, Pariah called you? How do you know it was the real Pariah?"
"I don't, for all I know, this kid could be the real Pariah, and the other guy was just a hoax. People have made false claims to be Pariah before. But until I can be certain that the man who called me wasn't Pariah. I'd say it's a 50/50 % chance that he is, and a 50/50 % chance that this child is Pariah. But, urp, the one thing I CAN be 100% sure of, is that the man who called me, and this boy, are not the same person."
"Why's that."
"Well children tend to have higher pitched voices, especially if they haven't hit puberty. The man who called me had a much lower voice. In fact, he sounded a lot like the actor Matthew McConaughey, as Matthew McConaughey is around 47, I think it's safe to assume that the voice did not belong to a child. I even made the mistake of thinking Pariah WAS LITTTERALLY Matthew McConaughey. I even had McConaughey arrested on suspicion of being Pariah. But since then the killings have not stopped, so I know at least that Matthew McConaughey is definitely not Pariah."
"YOU ARRESTED HOLLYWOOD ACTOR MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY!"
"Relax. Once we've found the real Pariah, I'll let him go. The public doesn't know this, so keep your mouth shut."
"Uh ok sure."
"Good boy" Said Rick, patting Charlie on the head.
...
Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey sat in the cold dark prison cell.
Two huge inmates sat next to him. Each was about twice the size of the actor, with a look of death on their faces.
"So" said one of the inmates. "You's the guy what played that, uh, that Man in Black from that black skyscraper movie."
"Uh, it's actually called the Dark Tower" Matthew corrected them.
"Yeah yeah. The Dark Tower" Said the first inmate.
"You was in that space movie too weren't ya?" Said the second one.
"Interstellar? Yes I was in that one too, I was the main character." Said Matthew.
A tear formed in the second inmate's eye. "That film... really moved me. That scene were you had to leave your daughter to so you can fly into space to save humanity. I... I... I cry like a baby every time."
"Well I'm glad you liked it." Said Matthew. "You know some critics were torn on it but I..."
"I CRIED LIKE A BABY!" The second inmate screamed then he burst into tears. "WHY COULDN'T HE STAY WITH HIS DAUGHTER?????? WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
