Chapter 13
Chapter 13: Protect tender happiness. Serenity is the key to success.
Trey
"Do you think Vago will be able to convince him?" - Tana asked me.
"No," I replied, studying the work papers in my clipboard.
"Then why did you send him there?"
"It's a lesson to him that you have to think with your brain first, not the head of your dick. Have you heard of the expression 'He who thinks little walks a lot'?" - Seeing the girl nod, I continued: "Well, let her run."
"What's in it for you?" - Raon asked.
"Why me? I'm the least interested in his employment here, but the most useful. While Vago is running after Boonmi, I have time to finish my investigation."
Raon and Tana looked at me reproachfully.
"So what's with the looks?" - I tore myself away from the gadget.
"Can you at least stay off work while you recover?" - The lover resented.
"I can, of course I can. I have two states, either I'm working or the second. And trust me, you should like the first one better," I joked.
"I don't even want to know what the second one is," Tana laughed.
"Trey!" - came from the door.
Well there you go, what was needed to prove it, I hope my boy is alive....
"Yes?" - Keeping my composure, I looked at the man who entered.
"He sent me! You know what? He says don't slam the door, close it carefully."
"Locked it?" - I clarified, contemplating whether or not I should call someone and ask them to check.
"Are you kidding me?"
"It's a lot, isn't it? Why are you so nervous? Think about it, he's in the dark right now. He's got couples tomorrow morning, no driver, Jung's out on an errand, he'll be back tomorrow. Lim's in Anthill. You'll take him to the university, get some ciabatta and coffee on the way."
"Shouldn't I tie his shoelaces?"
"Vago! You'll have to tie your shoelaces, blow your ass, and search all over Asia for the perfect red," I said in a serious tone, "The perfect in his mind is Red 032 C, it's in your best interest to memorize it."
"I'm serious!" - Nanook roared.
"You think I'm kidding! Do you like him at all? Or is it just to play around?"
"Of course you like it," the man said indignantly.
"So set your alarm for early, classes start at 9. It's a forty-minute drive from the mansion to the university. So at 8, or preferably 7:30, you should be there," I advised, to friendly interested looks.
"There's no other option?"
"There is, hit it and forget it. Well, or if you are determined to build a life with him, you have to prove your sincerity to him. Take action. Think of it as a takeover of a small company with huge demands."
"If you turn out to be wrong, I'll break the other half of your ribs!"
"Ahahahaha... If I turn out to be wrong, I'll live until the boy calls his uncle. But remember, I haven't been wrong yet."
Vago shook his head and went into the study. I kept working on the couch, looking for a comfortable position for my body, until Raon brought in some kind of cushion, but it was much more comfortable.
"Raon," I called out to him, "Why don't we go home?"
"Is something wrong? Are you uncomfortable here?" - Concerned lover asked.
"Not that it's a bad thing, it's just that I have my own responsibilities too, and it's kind of out of my hands from here," Whose house it is, caution wouldn't hurt.
Trusting Raon doesn't mean I can speak freely to my subordinates here. There are matters that should go no further than the anthill, and in a foreign house, even the walls have ears.
"We'll go to bed, Vien, let's go to bed, dear," Tana left the room tactfully, taking her husband with her.
"Trey, I don't get it, what's the matter with you? Boonmi is at home, he's fine. Your men are on the case," Raon said in a raised tone, staring at me in confusion.
Without saying anything, I sighed and headed for the guest room. I realized that I was in his territory, and it wasn't appropriate to argue. And I didn't want to waste energy on useless arguments, because the outcome was known in advance anyway. But my husband didn't like it.
"Since when do you allow yourself to walk out while we're talking?" - Growling, the man burst into the room.
"Are you talking to me now?" - I clarified, giving him a chance to come to his senses.
"Trey!" he raised his voice at me.
"What?"
"Don't play dumb! You know exactly what I mean. If I'm talking to you, you're supposed to stand there and listen, answering questions when necessary. Have you forgotten who's in front of you? Do I look like a yard mutt to you, running after you?"
I sat silently in my chair, and turned on my tablet.
"Whether you like it or not, regardless of whether you come with me, I plan to sleep at the apartment tonight. And get back to work tomorrow," I said, holding back my growing anger.
"Until I give the order, you're not taking a step out of this house." - Raon bellowed arrogantly.
"Look how brave he is... Okay...,", ran through my head.
"Who's idea is that?" - I asked in almost a whisper, looking him straight in the eye.
Anger, realization, acceptance, a sigh....
"Trey, I'm worried about you," Raon said more calmly.
"I know, and that's the only reason your attitude is going to go unheeded right now. I'm really pissed at you right now, and this isn't the best time to continue this conversation. I'll order a car," I said with a smirk, not looking up at him, pretending to look through my mail.
"Angry, then..." - Raon stretched out contentedly.
Oh that man...
"What are you up to!" - I smiled, seeing the lock click in the door.
"No big deal..." - With a sly twinkle in his eyes, he replied, "Nursing shouldn't be public."
"Are you not afraid to be alone with me?"
"Why should I be afraid? You're immobile and not dangerous." - Sitting down next to me, Raon purred, kissing my neck.
"After your subordinates hear you moaning, don't complain about losing face!" - Pulling my lover up by his chin, I captured his lower lip, inviting him into a kiss.
The softness and sweetness of his lips turned my head. Proving who was in charge, I attacked his mouth. His tongue slid across my palate, intertwining with mine and sharing the passion, surrendering to my power.
"Trey, your wound..." - The man objected between moans as my hand slid to undo the buttons of his shirt while kissing him.
"If you'll be obedient and start cooperating more actively, I won't get hurt. Come on, don't ruin such a beautiful mood. You're guilty, I'm horny, perfect combination," I whispered, biting his earlobe.
Making my way from the bites and hickeys to his neck, licking my way from his neck socket down to his calyx, I returned kisses to his lips, my free hand caressing his bare chest. I didn't have to ask twice; his shirt flew to the floor, as did two pairs of pants and the rest of his clothes as we made our way from the chair to the bed.
Pushing his stomach onto the bed, I kissed his back, running my tongue along each vertebrae, leaving bright marks on his favorite body. Comfortably nestled between his thighs, his firm ass beckoned to me. The tube of medical gel that the nurse had conveniently left behind came in handy. Pouring the clear liquid over my luscious buttocks, I enjoyed Raon's rapid breathing.
"I hope you left all your toys here to watch me, or else the security guards will hear your sweet moans now," I said, lubricating my cock as I entered my lover.
"Damn... Trey! You neglected foreplay again...," Raon gasped, trying to be indignant.
I knew he was going to swear, but right now we were at the pinnacle of bliss. Each of us feeling the other's body better than our own. Confident that his ass could take me without preparation, I could afford such a prank. Slight roughness and pain turning to a lingering desire for more aroused Rayon much faster than gentle caresses and preparation.
Pressing down on the man's lower back, I thrust my hips deeper, letting him get used to the intrusion. When I heard a sweet moan as a signal that a sensitive point had been reached, I moved my leg slightly, spreading his knees further apart. He was practically sprawled out on the bed, with a terrific stretch despite the size of his muscles, positioning his ass on my lap, resting his hot, excited cock against my leg.
Rayon buried his face in the pillow, trying to turn down the volume of the sounds he was making. Naive. Wiggling my hips at a different angle, I went over his prostate again. And one more time, but I went in full length.
"Ah...ah..." the man wriggled in front of me.
The tense back, the curve of his lower back, and his head thrown back and moaning.....
What could be more pleasurable than the moment of a partner getting high under you. How I'd missed that feeling of possession and power over him. He could be the boss of an army, the master of weapons, or even the owner of fire-breathing dragons, but he would only obey me.
A strong and powerful man in a world of darkness, he became supple and gentle in our rare moments of solitude. He melted in my hands, and I was ready to lay my heart at his feet. And if it weren't for the stiffness of the bandage, I could give him so much more than simple movements and careful caresses.
Holding Raon by the waist, I rammed him with force, it didn't matter now if they could hear us, what was going on outside, there was only us. And making him happy was the only thing I cared about right now. Despite my decreased stamina, and a small bloody stain on my bandage, we'd enjoyed a couple rounds of lovemaking that night. Leaving the mess in the guest room, the decision was made to move to Raon's bedroom for the night.
It was a sunny morning, and breakfast together, with discussions of the day's plans, made it feel like a big family. The last time such a carefree and heartwarming time had been before Uncle Ison's death. Once upon a time, mornings in the anthill began like this....
I called my driver and called Lim in the car to check on Boonmi. Once I was sure he was safe and on his way to the university with Vago, I ordered him to increase his security, but in a discreet manner. This is not the time to press Boone and prove anything. I have to let him realize and accept everything, otherwise I will lose my friend forever. After sending him a text telling him to take care of himself and to remember that even if he was against it, I was still there to protect him, I entered the anthill.
The workday went on as usual until another report about the attack on Uncle Ayson and the impending assassination attempt on Boonmi arrived in my inbox. The Supanai family had started making their moves, which meant it was time for us to act. I was about to call Vago when Anthil's men stirred. Boonmi was walking down the aisle toward the office, surrounded by two bodyguards I trusted. The guy was embarrassed and frustrated. Not daring to look up.
"Hi," he said quietly when he noticed I had come out to greet him.
"Hi, it's good to see you," I smiled at him, showing the escorts that they were free to go.
Walking into his office, he sat down on the couch with his head down in his hands, hiding his face.
"I don't want you to get killed," he said without raising his head.
"I know."
"And I don't want to bring trouble, but I don't want to be a part of it all either," he said guiltily.
"Boonmi, you mustn't be sorry or feel bad. I, on the day my uncle died, should have told you everything. But unfortunately, I'm just a bodyguard for hire, my opinion and wishes are not considered by the elders."
"You're not just a bodyguard, can you remain my friend?" - he looked up at me, "He said I'm nothing but trouble..."
"Did you two fight again?" - Sitting down next to me and giving me a hug, I asked.
"Uh-huh..."
"Boonmi, you should know that I'm always on your side. And also that there really is nothing but friendship between Tana and Vago. When you left, though he didn't show it, he was very worried and jealous."
"Uh-huh."
"But that's not the most important thing at the moment, right now I want you to hear me and understand. The mansion is going to be attacked soon, they want you to hand over the company's assets. I know how you feel about all this, but I need your help, I really do. I really do. And then I promise I'll do everything I can to get you back to your old life as soon as possible. But there's no other way out but to take the bait. This family needs you!" - I spoke seriously and confidently, with complete calmness on my face.
Calmness and the ability to abstract my feelings is kind of my superpower. But Boonmi's doomed look hurt me. His eyes, once burning with life and passion, had faded. We've been together so long that I truly consider him a friend, a brother, family. Besides Mother and Raon, he is one of the most important people in my life.
We spent the rest of the evening discussing with a team of trusted men how to proceed. And with a perfect plan, we decided to go to Vago's house. Since his family was the target of the attack. After calling Raon, we drove smoothly into the driveway of the house.
As we crossed the threshold of the house, we found ourselves in chaos. There was clearly a scuffle on the second floor. Rushing up there, I saw an unexpected scene, Tana and Raon breaking down the door to Vago's bedroom, shouting that he had mistaken someone in there, a muffled squeak pleading to be let go from behind the door. When the door opened, the voices fell silent. Only the sobs of the prisoner could be heard from the bedroom. The crowd of guards dared not cross the threshold of the bedroom.
Handcuffed to the big bed was a half-naked guy who looked remotely like Boonmi. At least the shirts were identical. An exasperated Vago, in just his pants, with the look of a fierce beast stood facing the door, ready to lunge at anyone who came close.
"Vago, listen to me..." - Tana began quietly.
"Get out all of you!" - yelled the owner of the room.
"Vago, friend, you kidnapped a man, let the guy go," Raon hesitated to come closer.
"That's my wife! He's mine!" - Like a beast, he guarded his prey.
"He's lying, this is the first time I've seen him! Please help me."
Bloodshot eyes, the smell of alcohol, the sense that Vago was on drugs.
"A wife, you say? You have a harem: Tana, that boy, bravo!" - came Boonmi's loud voice.
"Damn, I completely forgot he was here."
A resounding applause echoed in the silence of the room. Vago kept his eyes on Boonmi as he continued to say, "I practically believed you. Khun Pattana is a man of his word!" - he said with tears in his eyes.
I can't even imagine how hurt he is by this scene, because just on the way here, he admitted that he liked the bear and was willing to give it a chance.
Vago stared unblinkingly at Boonmi, as if coming to his senses. Madness and rage struggled in him, as if he couldn't believe his eyes, and he whipped his head around. His gaze darted from the guy in the bed to the door. Clutching his head with his hands, he growled and settled down on the bed.
Boonmi ran to the first floor with curses and mats. Silence reigned in the bedroom.
"Tana, try to catch up with Boonmi, if not, send to follow him please. Raon, take the kid away, we still need him, I have a plan."
"He won't let you near him. I don't know what he's under, but after seeing my aunt he's so..."
"Let go, don't make any sudden movements and I won't get hurt," I said calmly, trying not to lose eye contact with Vago.
Slowly I approached the man, reaching up to his neck. Just as I thought, a frantic pulse and bloodshot eyes.
"Vago, I'll give you your wife, I promise!" - I told him confidently, looking him in the eye.
"The man in your bed is not Boonmi, let's let him go, shall we? You need a place to rest, and when you wake up, I'll tell you who took your boy away. Yes?" - Stroking him affectionately on the shoulder, I blocked his view of Raon and the guy he'd unbuckled, and wrapped him in a sheet and led him out.
A worried Tana was already standing ready to help, she said nothing but looked at her friend with tears in her eyes. Together, we put the agitated man to bed. By stroking and soothing him, we managed to stabilize him.
"How can you stay so calm?" - Descending the stairs the girl asked.
"There's no point in getting hysterical over something that's already happened, calm is the key to success. Where's Boonmi?"
"I didn't catch up with him in time, sorry, I'm not much use," Tana excused herself guiltily.
"It's okay, we'll find him, don't worry, the police won't let him go anyway. Where's this guy? And what happened anyway?"
"In the study, I didn't realize what was happening myself. Vago burst into the house with it in his hands and took it to his bedroom and you saw the rest."
"Okay, we'll figure it out, let's go to the study, we have a bigger problem," I said as I pondered how much money to offer the accidentally and so successfully stolen Vago guy.
