Chapter 5:
"Oh for God's sake Charlotte! At least warn us when you're going to have someone around!" John sighed loudly.
"And get them to pick up their coat!" Sherlock tutted, picking up a long tan coloured coat from the floor. A familiar scent took over his nose, making him freeze in place.
"You two are decent, aren't you?" John continued, not realising what was going. Suddenly, Sherlock stormed forward, standing in front of the chair.
"I don't believe it! It is you!" He cried. As John threw his friend a puzzled look, the mystery person with Charlotte slowly stood up. It was her! The Women!
"But you died!" He blurted out.
"A bit forward, and clearly incorrect." Charlotte drawled, also standing up. An annoyed look passed over Sherlock Holmes' face as he grabbed her wrist and put her back into the chair, a little forcefully. Even Irene Adler looked a little surprised.
"Calm down Sherlock. You don't have to feel so left out." She put a hand on his shoulder and, if his companion hadn't been so furious, he probably would've laughed at the thought of it all.
"Shut up! Sit down right now!" He barked, pointing towards a spair seat. "You!" Next was Charlotte. "I don't want to hear you speak unless I ask you to! And stay in that chair!" Last, but not least, was John. Sherlock seemed to be just a little calmer as he spoke to his best friend and only trusted partner in the room. "You sit down too. Now, does anyone want to explain what's going on?" To humor him, Charlotte smiled mischeviously and put her hand up like a child in school. The angry detective sat down heavily and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"Yes?"
"Well, you know the case we're working on? And you also know how there's little to no evidence? Irene said that she would give me some information to help the case."
"A SUPER big clue. But you two interupted our little foreplay session." She winked at the blushing girl and laughed.
"So you were going to prep her ears by sticking your tounge down her throat?" The detectives hands were now under his chin in his classic fashion.
"Well I was hoping for a bit more than that but, as usual, your timing is impeccably terrible." Everyone looked towards Charlotte, who now had her head in her hands, shaking it 'no'. Before taking a deep breath, Sherlock looked at John for a second.
"Except that part, tell us everything, Adler."
