It was the next day and Naruto was doing his usual routine, which was wake up, and find his way to the lake just outside his house to clean himself up then he would go out to find food so when his small family of foxes wake up they'll have food ready for them. so he stepped out of a wooden house up in the trees (picture front page) and went to the lake to clean up. He got to thinking about yesterday while cleaning himself.

'They sure we're strange, I mean they didn't seem all that scared when they saw me yesterday, oh well it's not like they'll see me again' he thought, back to cleaning himself.

After he was done with that he got dressed and went to find food and herbs, he did manage to catch a few fish when he cleaned himself up. An hour past and Naruto was walking back home to make breakfast. While the fish were cooking over the fire, the foxes started to wake up on their own cause they could smell the fish.

"Hey your all awake, sleep well?" Naruto says

"Yeah great" the foxes all said at once

(Considering Naruto is half fox he can understand them but humans can't)

"That's great, dig in" Naruto says pointing to the fish over the fire, him grabbing the best looking one and eating it, before they take it all.

"So where's kurama, still sleeping?" Naruto asks the kits

"Yeah you know him, does whatever he wants" one of the youngest fox says

"Yeah your right, I guess I'll just leave this for him later" Naruto says pointing to the huge fish be side him

"Well we could always eat it" the oldest one said

"If you want to get him angry at you then go ahead" Naruto says taking a bite out of his fish

"Ah... well I-I'm fine, I don't want to cause trouble" the oldest fox stuttered

"Yeah I thought you might say that" Naruto says remembering the time when they disobeyed kurama, lets just say it was a terrible experience

After they all finished eating, they played a game of tag and a few other games after that.

WITH TEAM 7 - YESTERDAY

Team 7 was waiting outside the hokage's office, waiting to see him and give him the mission report. All three were quiet, all thinking about what happened just moments ago outside the village inside the forest, until they were knocked out of there thoughts when they heard a 'come in' from the hokage. so they entered his office.

"Report" was all the hokage said

"Well the rumours were true, there is a fox boy living in the forest but he doesn't seem to be taking our leaf shinobi" Kakashi said

"Yeah in fact he helped us get out of the forest cause we were lost" Sakura says

"Really, that sounds interesting for what I heard he kills them but I guess they are just rumours" the hokage giggles at that

"Yes, just rumours, in fact he just wanted us out of his forest" Kakashi says

"Is that so" the hokage thinks to himself

"Yes"

"He doesn't cause a threat to the village?" The hokage asks

"Not at what we've seen, right guys?" Kakashi turns to them

"Yes" Sakura says

"Yes if you think about it he has lived in the forest for years and hasn't done anything" sasuke says

"Sasuke's right hokage, he poses no threats" Kakashi says

"Well that's great to hear but that leaves how our shinobi keeps going missing" the hokage says

"Well I think they also get lost in the forest, cause the forest changes" Sakura says

"Changes?" The hokage questions

"Yes sir, no matter what way we went we got lost even if we new we were going in the right direction, if it wasn't for the fox kid we would be dead" Kakashi says

"Alright thanks for that you are dismissed" the hokage says

Team 7 left the hokage's tower and went there separate ways, Sakura asks sasuke if he wanted anything to eat, in other words she was asking him for a date, sasuke said no, like always and left Sakura standing there and went back to his house to train. Sakura was walking back to her house when she saw ino and her teammates shikamaru and choji eating at a BBQ restaurant.

"Hey guys" Sakura says walking up to them, taking a seat next to ino

"What do you want" ino snaps back

"Sheesh just wanted to say hi" Sakura say

"You just get back from your mission" shikamaru asks not wanting to hear those to argue

"Yeah, it was strange" Sakura says

"Strange how?" Choji says through mouth falls of food

"Yeah what was your mission" ino asks

"Well recently leaf shinobi's have gone missing and even normal towns people from other towns in the forest near by" Sakura begins

"Yeah what happened to them" ino asks curiously

"Well when we went in the forest to check it out we got lost" Sakura got cut off

"Lost? are you serious, what's strange about that" Ino says

"Well if you let her finish, then you'll know" shikamaru says

"Anyway we were lost and we ran into this huge bear we were about to attack when this boy about the same age as us jumped down from the tree and talked to the bear which the bear seemed to understand him and left but that wasn't the strange thing he had fox ears and a tail" Sakura say

"What seriously?" Ino says

"Yeah he told us the forest changes so even when your going the right way you still get lost, he helped us out and left, that's it" Sakura finishes

"So there is a half fox, half human boy living in that forest, which happens to change" choji says

"Yeah I know it sounds strange but you can even ask sasuke and Kakashi sensei" Sakura says

"Well there are rumours about that forest" shikamaru says

"What rumours" both ino and Sakura ask

"Well just like you said about the forest changing and half fox half human living there, only the fox doesn't cause anyone harm unless they hurt his friends and animals in the forest and he helps people out if they are lost in the forest just like you guys, it was only a rumour but I guess it's true now" shikamaru says

"Really how come I haven't heard about it" Sakura asks with interest

"It's only a small rumour, people weren't even sure if it was true" shikamaru says

"Oh ok" Sakura says

"Oh I no why don't we all go check it out tomorrow" Ino says

"No it's troublesome" shikamaru says

"Aww come on I want to see him for myself, Sakura saw him" Ino says

"I don't mind going again" Sakura says

"I don't mind either" choji says

"Yeah and we can bring all the rookies" Ino says

"Fine you win" shikamaru says

"Great, Sakura and I will go and tell the others we'll leave tomorrow" Ino says leaving with Sakura
