(Hello peeps! As I said before here is the chapter! I hope you enjoy this story! I work very hard on this! More than I do one school work...so remember to leave a vote or comment on how I can improve! Now TO THE STORY!

Cole drove his driller through the heat of the desert, "This...is....not....my.....day..." he gasped out as he fanned himself with his hand.

He was out in the heat of the vehicle all day, and it was hell...

Cole's holographic monitor came on, "COLE! You have not returned with the prisoner and it has been a day! Are you slacking!? This is no time to be doing so!"

Cole groaned as he was not in the mood, "I have not been 'slacking' Samukai, I am in a long drive to who knows where to find a guy who would be dead by now in this heat."

"That is no excuse! I came to inform you that you do not return to the camp. Bing the prisoner to the emperor yourself. Now you have two lives on as risk now Cole. Yours and your father's. Over." the hologram went off and Cole growled as he hit the dash.
Why did it go have to be him! Out of all the soldiers! Him! Now he has to meet up with the lord to evil himself...peachy.
Just...peachy.

Cole checks his radar, "Good...that forest isn't too far away. Now, this heat needs to stop...and I have just the thing for it..." he stopped his vehicle and turned on the driller.

Cole backs up before going forward and drilling into the ground. He would be there in no time. More importantly, however, out of the heat.

With the Two

Jay leads Zane through the forest, more so jungle-like environment.

"So, can you tell me where we are going?"Zane asked as Jay climbed the fallen tree.

"It is a surprise, my first mate," Jay said rewatching out to Zane as he held onto a branch.

Zane grabbed Jay's hand, the staff strapped down to his waist by his belt, and pulled himself up with Jay's help, "Oh. Well that does sound exciting." he said as Jay jumped down, "Then can you tell me why we are going there?"

Jay laughed as Zane jumped down, "Oh my friend. Some things are better left unsaid."Jay said.

After some time, the sun was beginning to lower. Jay walked faster, "Speed up Zane. I do not want to be late."

"I do not know what we could be late to estimate if I need to speed up or not!"Zane said trying to keep up. Jay was fast for his size.

Jay stopped as he felt the earth begin to rumble, "Uh...Zane. Do not-"he was knocked over when a Zane came running from behind him,"-come closer..." he grunted out.

Zane rubbed his head," Sorry my friend...it appears I have not hurried fast enough."Zane said as he laid on Jay's back.

"Just get off me," Jay said trying to push him off. He felt the rocks begin to break.

Zane's eyes dilated as he got up and picked up Jay around his stomach and led across the rumbling area. Jay couldn't process what had happened. All he could really think about now was...HOW THE HELL DID A DRILLER GET HERE?!

Zane shook his head as his eyes came back to normal. He dropped Jay, "When did that driller appear?"

Jay groaned as he stood up and dusted himself off," Gee, I don't know Zane. Why don't we go up and ask whoever is in there! And how he could've killed us!"Jay yelled.

"Alright," Zane said as he walked to the drill.

"No! Don't do that! Do you know who these guys are!? We need to run!"Jay yelled, but, Zane did not listen and climbed onto to the driller, "I have picked up a mad man."Jay said with a sighed and he got out his nunchucks.

Cole growled as he kicked the I side of his vehicle, opening up the top, "Stupid! Freaking! Cheap hunk of junk! This is what I get for wasting money on stupid fuel! I should've freaking got the electric! Dammit!"Cole mutter climbing out looking up coming face to face with the pale man.

"AAAAAHHHH!"Cole fell out of the drill.

Zane covered his mouth and looked at Jay, "Did I scare him?"

Jay was trying to hold back laughter, "Good one..."Jay said.

Cole groaned as he rubbed his head, "What the hell..."He looked up as his vision was blurred slightly,"...how...."

Zane jumped down beside the man, "Hello. I sorry I frightened you! Me and my friend were wondering how did you come here and if you would apologize for almost killing us."Zane said crouching down beside the man.

Cole covered his eyes from the sun shining out his eyes as he sat up, "What...in the..." he looked at Zane,"...It's...it's you!" he got up and tackled Zane.

Jay ran over quickly and spun his nunchucks around, "Get off of him you dirt clod!" he yelled and hit the man causing electricity to stun the man.

Cole shook as he got off of Zane.

Zane held his stomach in pain, "I do not understand...that did not seem like an apology...not at all..."Zane looked at the shaking man and hurried to get up.

"Get behind me, Zane."Jay said not knowing if the man is capable of protecting himself or not, "This is what I mean. Stupid dirt for brains harming innocent people...I'm sick of it."

Cole's shaking stopped, he held his chest trying to breathe.

Zane looked at Cole then looked at Jay, "However you didn't know if the man was innocent or not."Zane said

Jay looked at him like he was crazy," Zane. He. Attacked. You. Doesn't that say something about him!?"

"Well...I do not understand my own past. What if...what if I did deserve that?"Zane asked, "Then how can you understand my character?"

Cole groaned and sat up slowly hearing their conversation. An idea struck,"...I am sorry...I thought you would remember."

Jay looked at the man on the floor and tightened his grip on his nunchucks making sparks come out, "Yeah right!"

Zane held Jay's forearm, "Hear him out."

Cole looked at the ground. He remembered the last time he saw him. It was his fault...no. No, it wasn't...it was business. Just like this. He sighed then got up shakily, "You are a...noble in my ward. I needed to...protect you...however you ran away." he lied.

Zane tilted his head, "What is a noble?" Zane asked.

Jay looked at Cole with a glare.

Cole rubbed his shoulder, "It is someone who...who..."Cole thought for a moment,"Is...needed? I-I was only sent to protect you. So I dont know what you are needed for."

Zane nodded looking down,,"Sorry I ran away...I still do not understand-"

"It is fine. Just come with me and-"

"Hey! He is not going with you! Listen. I know what your people are capable of. So I know when I smell a rat."Jay said stabbing his finger in the bigger man's chest.

Cole slapped his hand away,"And I also know of you, pirate,"Cole spat."I am Co-general of my soilders following under our laws. So I dont need to be judged by some outlaw scum like you."Cole said pushing Jay back hard enough for him to fall. He turned to Zane,"You. Come with me."he said.

Zane looked at Cole then at Jay. We went to Jay to help him up,"No."

"What?"Cole said turning back.

"I said no. If you do not understand what it means I shall put it in layman's terms or 'Dumb It Down For You'. It means the will to deny doing a specific activity or action,"Zane said with a glare.

Jay smirked as he got to his feet.

Cole was about to say something until Zane spoke out first,"I will not go with you. Unless you have proven you are trustworthy. So. I invite you to join me and my friend to an blind adventure!"Zane said with a smile.

Jay and Cole's jaw dropped. Jay was the first to speak out,"Zane! Buddy! I get that you want to be friends with every stranger you meet but...forgive me...ARE YOU CRAZY!? THIS GUY NEARLY KILLED US! AND YOU WANT TO BRING HIM ALONG!?"

Zane patted jay's shoulder,"You are forgiven."he said,"So it is agreed?"

"No! We need to go now! We have no time for pit stops now that I found you."Cole growled.

Zane crossed his arms,"Then guess I will not go with you now will I."

Jay laughed,"I for one will totally support you on that decision my friend."

"You two are not to hard to fling over my shoulder you know."Cole said cracking his knuckles.

Jay got out his spin his nunchucks imfront of him to show off the lighting to Cole,"The bigger they are. The harder they fall."

Zane sighed,"In all understanding. You are out numbered Sir."

"I told you. It's Cole."

"You did not...dirt clod..."Zane said attempting a insult, unsure, but he straighten himself up,"Now. If you apologize to my friend and prove that you are a person of trust. I shall come with you without question. And you must not endanger my companion Jay to any punishment for his crimes that you accuse him of."

Jay looked at Zane shocked for a mintue.

Cole looked like he was about to say no...but it was better not to fight with something that could be done so easily,"...fine. I'll play your little game."

Zane clapped his hands together,"Wonderful! Now. Jay, can you lead the way?"

"Over my dead body..."Jay grumbled looking at Cole. If looks could kill.

"I do not see how that is possible. I do not see that it is possible for you to lead the way if you are already deceased."Zane said confused.

Jay groaned,"Fine! Fine. Let's just go with one of the most dangerous people in all the world huh? Yeah it seems like a perfectly safe idea!"Jay yelled stomping in one direction.

"That is good. It is always a great idea to ensure we are safe."Zane said as he followed.

Jay yelled in frustration but kept walking.

Cole looked at the ground as he walked behind the other two.

Just business...he looked at Zane taking amusement in Jay's eccentric attitude. Zane covered his mouth to avoid laughing to rudely as Jay stepped in mud and made a huge fuss over it. Cole smiled at Zane, cute, he thought, he is really cute...

Cole tensed as he heard himself think that, no! No, Zane is not cute. He is a prisoner, you dont like him.

Cole looked at Zane glance back at with with a smile and gestured him to follow. Cole closed his eyes for a second before following.

Just business.
