I walked to the car with Sean, holding a takeaway of that Chinese food that Ben loves.

Sean glanced at me as I started the car engine.

"You know the new recruits are coming tomorrow, right?" he asked.

It was so out of the blue that I stopped.

"Yeah." I replied and continued driving.

"Well, what if Benjamin chooses a girl to be his bodyguard?" Sean asked.

That completely threw me off guard but I kept a straight face.

"I don't care. He can't prefer another girl to me. I'm his childhood friend and I know him the best." I responded.

Sean smirked knowingly.

I hate it when he dangles something unknown over me, trying to bait me into wanting to know.

Well, I won't give him the satisfaction of it.

I gritted my teeth and stepped on the accelerator.

"Whoa, E, slow down, what if you get us killed?" Sean said, bouncing around in the backseat.

I smiled benignly and glanced in front.

Benjamin Walker was my boyfriend and he would always be...
