Even though I hate Jai, love Corr, I still didn't want them dead. I rushed back to our medical quarters and saw Dayna sitting up with Ekh, sopping wet.

Apparently the gal fainted and Ekh tossed water on her to make her regain consciousness. What a medic.

Dayna was crying and Sasha was hugging her. Ben was at the outskirts of the group, scanning for me. "Hey, Jann. She's okay. We're all fine. What about the rest?" Under his careful gaze, I relayed to him what Dayn told me.

He went chalk white. First time I ever saw him lose his composure.

"Are you sure?" he asked urgently. I nodded and he marched toward the pilot cabin. Somehow, even though there was utter chaos, we were still in the air.

He banged on the door.

"Captain? Hello?" he called.

And the door cracked open... and a zombie greeted us.
