"Boo," I whispered gently in her ear.

"Argh!" she cried out, startled. Too absorbed.

She'd reached the part where the two brothers were in a glass ball.

"You scared me, Benjamin Walker!" she reprimanded sternly before grinning.

"Hey,you're the one watching my fave movie," I teased back. She pouted.

"Your fave? Really?" she said. "Wanna watch with me?"

I swear my heart stopped there.

She glanced up at me, waiting.

"Um, sure, yeah,  but Eliza's looking for me, and yeah." I concluded my wonderful stutter.

"Oh." she said, disappointed. "Maybe next time then." She plugged the earpiece back into her ear and waved at me.

I walked off. Why was I so stupid to resist an open invitation? I kicked myself mentally.

Eliza appeared.

"There you are, Benny-wenny. I was starting to wonder when practice ends. Let's go grab a bite with Sasha and Ekh, shall we?" she remarked and dragged me along.

I hesitated before agreeing.

Maybe I should have taken Jann's offer.
