I was halfway into the movie when Sasha tapped my shoulder.

I glanced up, annoyed.

This was the umpteenth time I'd been interrupted. "Yeah, Sasha?" I said, plucking the earpiece from my ears. Sasha smiled at me.

"Want to come for rehearsal? I think we're gonna be practising that song of yours you were singing when you bumped into Ben." she remarked.

I leapt up. The Hitchhikers at rehearsal? Too good an opportunity to pass up.

I followed Sasha to a room where Ekh, Jamie and Benjamin were preparing to practise.

Sasha launched into the choreography for 'Dance To The Beat' as Jamie played his drums. Benjamin took a deep breath and sung the first verse. Then Ekh rapped. So good. I liked Ben's vocals. They smoothened out the rough riffing of the melody and Jamie's drum ruckus. Sasha's voice was really polished. Real pop star goodness.

Ben had explained the meaning of Dance To The Beat once, on MTV. It was for his dream girl. He wanted her to be someone like who he described on the song, just more real. 

Something like that.

Ekh started rapping my fave part of the song. It was the part where, luck had it, I'd bumped into Ben and this all started. As the words sunk in, I started to really understand why Ben liked this girl he was describing.

But... Eliza wasn't like that girl on the track.
