Noah P.O.V

Noah: T-Teddie! look, I can do backflips 

Just like I said, I could do a quadruple backflip from a few feet. Teddie was impressed and clapped his paws. 

Teddie: That was amazing! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

Noah: heehee thanks teddie

Teddie: hey noah! watch what I can do!

Teddie was hopping and dancing all around as I giggled and clapped my hands to him. He stopped and bowed to me, replying "thank you". 

Noah: heehee that was fun

Teddie: now wake up son

Noah: huh? son, teddie we're friends

Dad: Wake up, noah

Dream Ends

Noah: (groans)....huh?

Dad: son we're here, get up. Don't forget to bring teddie with you

Noah: o-oh (yawns) okay

Dad smiled as he grabbed his bag over his shoulder and headed out. I followed after him with my bag over my shoulders. I made sure to grab teddie, pulling him to my chest as I stepped out the carriage. 

Dad and I waved the coachman goodbye as he drove off. Dad looked around a bit until someone came up to us. He wore brown coats with white shirts and black straps around their body. Not only that, he has weird metal boxes on the side with wires around and blades intact.

"hey, are you Nate? and this your son, Noah?"

Dad: yes, I am nate

Noah: I-I'm N-Noah

I hid behind my dad's legs as my dad and him chuckle. My dad ruffles my hair as I hold onto teddie.

Hannes: My name is Hannes, I'm apart of the garrison and was told to escort you to a vacant house

Dad: yes, thank you (turns to me) come on, our home is waiting

Noah: o-h o-okay

I followed dad with Hannes in front, taking the lead. As we walked in the tunnels, we came out of the darkness to see a city bustling. I see kids playing with each other in the distance. People talking or making their errands.

I stare in awe as I held teddie with me.

Dad: Noah, are you coming? don't fall behind

Noah: (frantic panic) a-ah I'm coming

I caught up with my dad as we continued to follow after hannes. He made small talk with my dad until my name was brought up.

Hannes: Hey kid, how old are you?

Noah: s-s-sev--- ei-eight

Hannes: did you just turn eight?

Noah: (happy) y-yesterday, dad surprised me with going outside

Hannes: outside?

Dad: Hannes, it would be explained later. My son doesn't know 

Hannes: ah (turns to noah) say, do you have any friends?

I shook my head as Hannes smiled

Hannes: oh, I have the perfect kid you can be friends with

Dad: you do?

Hannes: yeah! a good old friend of mine is married and already has a kid. His name is eren. Such a little troublemaker that one

Noah: e-eren? I can be f-friends with him?

Hannes: yeah, I think they are your neighbors. I'll introduce them to yah when we get there

Noah: (excited) O-Okay!

Hannes: (turns to nate) heh, you sure have a bright kid

Dad: yes, he's just like his mother

Hannes: what happened to his mother?

Dad: she passed away...........before we could go to the surface

Hannes: (scratches back of neck) o-oh my bad, I hit a nerve there

Dad: it's fine... besides my wife wouldn't want me in the dirt. She would kick my butt into space if she found out how pathetic I was

Hannes: heh, I can see that (approaches house) Oh! we're here

The house was beautiful with white paint decorated around the outside walls. The door had some dirt around but it can be cleaned off. The windows blue painted and opened to have the winds blow inside the house. Even the roof was decorated in zig zag designs.

Noah: w-wow! (turns to dad) d-dad, can i?

Dad: go right ahead. Hannes and I ain't stopping yah

I smiled as I went to the door and opened it with ease. Must be unlocked as I headed inside. It was a bit dusty but there were the essentials. A big empty room as I danced around with teddie. There were two windows sitting on the walls as I turned to my left of the kitchen. The countertop around and a small table a a few feet from the counter.

So good enough space.

I notice stairs in the distance as I stepped on one of them. Lifting my foot up to see dirt staining my foot. I wipe it off and go up the stairs to see 3 rooms. 2 rooms on the right and 1 room on the left. I opened the first room which was empty with only a bed, drawer, and a candle stick. On the other side of the bed was a makeshift closet.

I left the room and went to the one beside it, opening it to see another room but smaller. There wasn't much in the room so I left. I went to the room on the other side and opened it, the room was much bigger and the bed was too. There were two drawers on each side as well as candle sticks. 

I smile as I look at teddie in my hands.

Noah: t-teddie, this will be our n-new home

Teddie: (Noah's Voice) yeppie! let's tell your dad

Noah: o-okay!

I really like the new house. I want to tell dad to help me clean before we set up.

Dad: hey son, did you like the new house? how are the rooms?

Noah: (excited) I-I really like it, there is a kitchen and a big room downstairs and... and there is a bathroom upstairs with t-two rooms. one small and one b-big Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

Dad: how nice

Noah: dad wait! we have to cl-clean. It's dirty inside

Dad: heh, you're right. Lets go clean right now

Noah: o-okay

Dad: you should put teddie near the stuff, don't want him to get dirty enough

Noah: r-right, te-teddie needs a shower 

Dad: alright, lets clean the house and then we can shower

Noah: o-okay!

The rest of the day, dad and I cleaned up the house spot clean and made sure no dust was left. Scrubbing the outside door was hard but dad took it out like tape. When we finished cleaning, dad said he would get the big room while I get the small room.

When we noticed each other dirty, dad took the chance to clean our clothes and ourselves. Dad told me to dry myself while he hanged the clothes. He told me to wear one of his shirts which were cleaned off. It was really big and I could play with the sleeves.

I flapped them around until I saw dad with teddie. He cleaned off the fur and hung him on the line.

Dad: teddie will have to dry so you have to wait until tomorrow until you can play with teddie

Noah: o-okay, dad can I sleep with you?

Dad: of course

Dad took me as we went to the big room. The blankets around there as he climbed onto bed with me. Putting the pillow down as I lay there, my eyes growing heavy.

Noah: good night, dad

Dad: night son
