25. The Reconciliation
{This chapter is almost 6k words and like half of it is smut i-🤠}
Over the next few days Violet found that she was unable to pull herself from Draco. Glances in a corridor or a brush of skin in class quickly turned into snogging in a hidden alcove or empty classroom. Both were utterly desperate for the other.
She craved the way he'd whisper possessively in her ear and caress every curve of her body. Each low growl against her skin sending her over the edge.
He was equally as intoxicated by her. Violet adored the way he shuddered when she raked her nails through his hair or rolled her hips against his. Her heart had even stilled momentarily when he murmured something about 'how much he loved her... body and the way the uniform fit her'.
Anytime she wasn't sneaking around with Draco she would bury her head into books in the library. She felt rather unwelcome everywhere else. Although she'd tried multiple times to approach Hermione when she was alone, she'd always shrug her off with a simple "I'm busy".
Violet tried not to linger on thoughts of loneliness. She had more pressing matters to attend to.
Occasionally she found her mind wandering to the words of her brother a few days prior. About how pleased 'he' would be. After tossing the thought about in her mind Violet chalked it up to lack of human contact. The man had been locked away for twelve years, so it is completely logical that he could've misspoke.
She put her longing for family ahead of her doubts to keep her mind at ease. This is what this was all for afterall, family.
Violet watched the sun streak through the latticed windows of the library as the notion of family played on her mind. She considered writing to Molly.
She had always been a voice of reason and warmth within Violet's life. However, Ron could have spoken to her already––she didn't want to make her choose between them. After all Molly would, of course, always choose Ron.
Remus, perhaps?
Violet had always considered Remus as somewhat of a father figure within her life. But he might hold too much reason, look at her problem too logically. She didn't particularly want to be scolded right now, so decided against it.
Tonks?
Of course! She should write to Tonks.
Violet pulled some parchment from her bag and hastily started writing. She hadn't truly been able to speak to someone in over a week and felt the quill move faster than her brain could comprehend. The letter spoke about how isolated she'd been feeling and the separation from her friends. She chose to exclude the reason for the rupture as she didn't want Tonks to over analyse or worry about her, as she inevitably would. Violet made it clear that the separation from the trio is nothing too major and she believes it will mend itself soon, just so Tonks doesn't write to them herself.
Once the parchment was full she rested it on the table and gave the ink a moment to dry.
As Violet rested back into her chair a pale hand came into view and snatched up the parchment.
"Who are you writing to?" Draco questioned from behind her.
Violet stood from her chair and turned to face him. He was leaning nonchalantly against the bookshelf whilst waving the piece of paper around. Violet sighed as she took in his appearance.
His hair was unstyled and flopped slightly over his forehead, the top button of his shirt was undone and his tie hung loose around his neck. Rays of sun reflected in the silver of his eyes and made them resemble pools of molten silver. The sunbeams illuminated the high points of his face and cast shadows over the low, sculpting him perfectly.
Violet cursed him silently for always looking so handsome.
"No one. Give it-" Violet stepped forward to grab the letter but Draco lifted his arm and held it above her head. "Very mature"
They were hidden within an empty aisle so didn't have to worry about the prying eyes of students.
"Are you writing me love letters?" he mocked.
Anytime the word 'love' fell from Draco's lips Violet's heart would skip a beat. He never thought anything of it and Violet knew she shouldn't either.
She was not in love with him. But it could be argued she was tip toeing around the edge of falling.
"No. Actually I was writing to Tonks"
"Nymphadora? As in my cousin" his brows furrowed in dubiety as he tried to make the link between Tonks and Violet.
Violet crossed her arms over her front and pursed her lips, "Yes, if you must know she's my friend"
"Right" his tone was doubtful, "What did you write to her?"
"Why do you care?"
Draco raised his eyebrows and Violet bit her lip to suppress her smile––although it was no use as an undeniable blush spread across her cheeks.
I care about you, Draco
I care
Violet jumped in the air to try and snatch the letter as Draco jerked his arm backward. She lost her balance when she landed and tumbled forward into his arms.
When she met his eyes Violet noticed that they had darkened, significantly. He flipped them around so that she was trapped between him and the bookcase; one arm beside her head and the other sliding the letter into his back pocket.
Violet tilted her head forward so that the tips of their noses were touching, "Give. It. Back"
"No" he smirked.
Draco promptly dove his head down and smashed their lips together as his hand tangled into her hair. Violet melted into the scent of expensive cologne and mint that had penetrated the air around her. One hand slid up his torso to come to rest at his shoulder, the nails of the other grazing through his soft hair.
The feeling of Draco against her lips, the bibliosmia and the temperate sun created a moment Violet wished she could live in forever. She still felt swarms of butterflies every time he held her and an inexplicable warmth ooze from her chest outwards.
A few blonde hairs tickled Violet's forehead and she let out a breathless laugh.
His fingers lightly traced up the length of her throat and Violet arched her back into him as tingles unfurled up her spine. Draco's hold tightened around her neck as he placed the slightest amount of pressure at Violet's pulse point.
Violet gasped with pleasure and Draco took the opportunity to slide his tongue along her bottom teeth and into her mouth. He used his thumb to nudge her face upwards so that he could deepen the kiss and Violet let out a soft moan against his lips.
A rustling noise broke them apart as someone in the aisle behind them reached for a book. Violet pressed her back against the bookshelf beside Draco. They turned their heads to look at each other and Violet felt a grin spread across her face as she tried to suppress a giggle.
Draco pushed off from the bookshelf and moved to stand in front of Violet, putting about a foot between them.
He ran his fingers through his hair in an attempt to keep it from his face as his breathing returned to normal, "You know, I knew I'd find you here"
"Really?" her brows knitted together.
"You've been spending all of your time in here" he slipped his hand into hers and ran his thumb along her knuckles, "Is it still that bad with your friends?"
Violet dropped her head slightly and bit her lip, embarrassed that she was noticeably alone, "Uh... yeah. None of them will talk to me. Not even Hermione" Violet noticed his grip on her hand tighten slightly and his jaw clenched "But it's my fault. I should've expected this."
Draco placed his fingertips underneath her jaw and raised her head to look at him, "Don't do that. They're all a bunch of arseholes–"
"Malfoy"
"Draco" he corrected.
"Draco" her voice was stern but her earnest expression faltered. She couldn't help but find humour in Draco's disdain for the trio.
"Well you know how I feel about them" he smirked, "You're always welcome in the Slytherin common room"
Her eyes widened and eyebrows raised, "You are joking. Pansy would hex me to hell and back if she found out I was in Slytherin territory––not that I couldn't take her. I've done it before"
Draco let out a small but genuine laugh. It was the first time she'd ever seen Draco actually laugh; occasionally he would exhale through his nose while smiling but this was a real laugh.
The sound was ethereal.
There was no doubt in her mind anymore. She was falling.
Without realising her teeth sunk into her bottom lip as she watched Draco. He stepped forward and tugged her lip from between her teeth with his thumb as his eyes darkened.
"Don't do that Gardner" he pressed her into the bookshelf and kissed the sensitive spot just below her ear, "Unless you want me to fuck you right here"
He pulled back and the corner of his lip tugged into a sly smirk. Violet's chest rose dramatically as she sucked in a sharp breath.
She adjusted her stance so that her eyes were almost level with his, "You already took me against a bookshelf." leaning forward slightly her lips grazed the shell of his ear, "Remember?"
Violet placed her hands against his chest and watched as she dragged them down his body. Her fingers reached the waistband of his trousers and traced it round to his back. She carried on moving her hand down and slid it into the back pocket of his trousers.
She ripped the letter from his pocket and slid out from under Draco's arm. "Haven't gone soft on me have you?" she teased as she took a few steps back before turning on her heel.
Draco grabbed her elbow and tugged her to him, so that her back was flush against his chest. One hand was pressed to her stomach the other fisting the material of her skirt, restricting her movement.
He peppered a few kisses along her jaw and bit down on the skin of her shoulder before running his tongue over the area to soothe it. Violet's head knocked back to his shoulder as her mind started to fog.
"Come to my common room at eleven" his voice had dropped an octave as he murmured seductively into her neck, "Then you'll see how soft I am"
He barely gave Violet a moment to recover before he backed away and disappeared out of the aisle.
Violet's heart was pounding against her chest as she tried to steady her breathing. It had only taken a few words to send that familiar heat spiraling down to her core and she found herself becoming delirious with thoughts of being back in Draco's room.
Once she'd regained some form of composure, Violet smoothed out her uniform and grabbed her bag to head towards the Owlery.
It was still only mid-February and the steps to the Owlery were glazed with frost. Violet struggled to maintain her balance as she made her way up.
When she finally reached the top she scanned the birds for her owl, Polaris. After a few minutes of searching she realised that her owl must not be there and started to make her way to a different bird. As she was handing over the letter to a Barn owl in the far corner Violet was made aware of a delicate humming of whoever was entering the Owlery.
She turned to see Luna Lovegood waltzing in with her typical dazed expression.
"Oh, hello Violet" she said with her silvery voice.
Violet was slightly taken aback by her greeting. She'd just started to assume that friends of the trio didn't want to talk to her anymore.
"Hi Luna, how are you?"
Violet sent off the owl and walked towards Luna, standing beside her as she surveyed the birds.
"I'm splendid, thank you" she smiled.
"Who are you sending a letter to?"
"Nobody. Sometimes I just like to come in here and watch the owls fly around" she'd tilted her head all the way back and was gawping at the birds as they flew above her head.
"As lovely as that is, this is also their dumping ground"
Almost as though on queue a glob of feces dropped from the sky and landed an inch away from Violet's foot. Luna stared at it for a while before looking back to Violet and smiling.
"Yes, it is rather unfortunate when that happens"
The girls turned and walked back to the entrance of the Owlery. Violet stood awkwardly in the door frame, unsure if Luna wanted to walk back to the castle with her.
"I was just about to go and grab some lunch, would you care to join me Violet?"
Oh Godric bless Luna. Sweet, lovely Luna.
Violet beamed at the offer, "I would love too. Is it okay if I sit with you at the Ravenclaw table?"
"Of course, you are more than welcome to sit with us"
They carefully made their way down the steps of the Owlery and back into the warmth of the castle. Violet was revelling in the feeling of being able to talk to someone in public as she strode down the corridors with Luna.
"Luna, have you seen much of Hermione recently?" Violet queeried and fiddled with the strap of her bag while she awaited the answer.
"A few times. All three of them have become much quieter over the past week or two, much like you" her tone was still light and placid.
"It's that obvious?"
"Oh yes. The separation between you all was quite noticeable"
Violet felt awful for being the cause of the split but she also wouldn't start groveling either. She still didn't see the harm in what she's doing and therefore wouldn't apologise for it.
But nonetheless she wanted her friends back.
"We try not to mention it," Luna added.
"We?"
"Ginny, Neville and I. Harry has been seeking solace in Ginny recently. The two make a wonderful couple if you ask me"
Harry and Ginny? When did that happen. Merlin I miss my friends.
"I think so too"
The pair entered the Great Hall where the trio were already huddled together around the Gryffindor table. All three pairs of eyes watched Violet intently as she sat beside Luna.
Violet caught the gaze of Hermione and gave her a small smile. She could see the conflict behind Hermione's eyes but before she could react Ron pulled her shoulder and turned her back towards the table.
Violet missed Hermione the most. She had considered her more of a sister than a friend. There was absolutely no one in the world that she was closer too.
That was why she was so sure that eventually they would find their way back to each other. Family always does.
Luna sat opposite Padma Patil and Terry Boot, Violet was familiar with both from DA the previous year.
"Violet Gardner is joining us for lunch today. Isn't that lovely?" Luna chimed to her peers.
Violet felt her cheeks heat up at the impromptu announcement of her arrival.
"Hi Violet" Padma smiled.
Terry just nodded in her direction, the two weren't very well acquainted so Violet took no offence to the less than warm welcome.
The group engaged in pleasant conversation for the rest of lunch and Luna invited Violet to sit with the Ravenclaw's whenever she liked. Violet was glad she finally had someone to speak to other than Draco and she felt one step closer to reconciling with her friends.
She only had Charms class after lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon finishing an essay on Everlasting Elixir's for Potions in her dorm.
It was around four pm when she'd finally completed the essay and placed it inside her bag. She sat down on her bed and pulled out the tales of King Arthur and started to read, not bothering to close the curtains around her bed.
Not a minute later Hermione stepped into the room, clearly not expecting it to be occupied. Violet sat up from the bed and placed the book beside her leg, unsure if Hermione would be okay with her reading one of her books.
They looked at each other for a moment, both waiting for the other to say something.
"Sorry I'll go if you don't want-" Violet started.
"No, no you don't need to leave it's fine, this is your room too"
Violet settled back onto the bed with a small smile.
"This is yours, I hope you don't mind" she raised the book in her hand to flash Hermione the cover.
"I don't mind at all. Some of those stories are really... fantastic" her tone was uncertain, as though she still wasn't sure whether or not she should be speaking to Violet.
"Yes, I think so too. Who's your favourite character?" Violet didn't know if she was pushing her limits but this was the most she'd spoken to Hermione in weeks and didn't want it to end just yet.
"Guinevere, definitely"
"Of course she's your favourite character" Violet teased, out of instinct. She instantly realised that she'd spoken slightly out of turn and froze as she expected Hermione to be off put by the conversation.
Instead Hermione placed her hand over her heart with a gasp of mock offence, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Violet exhaled through a smile. They were getting along.
"Guinevere? Honest, loving wife who falls for another man against her better judgement. Saved from being burnt at the stake by her lover. The original damsel-in-distress-"
Hermione chucked a pillow across the room that hit Violet in the leg. "Fine, alright I get it. If you're so bloody knowledgeable who's your favourite?"
"Morgan le Fay" she said smugly as she leaned back against her headboard.
"The villain?"
"She's not a villain! She's just misunderstood" Violet scoffed. "Besides a powerful woman in those days would be painted as a villain, the men just couldn't handle it"
Hermione leaned into her hip and crossed her arms over her front, "Fair point. She still tried to murder her nephew to become queen"
"You're forgetting the context. She spent time in a nunnery where she became one of the most powerful sorcerer's––you'd be bitter if you were cast aside too. Also she didn't try to murder him to become queen, she did it for love. And at least she took matters into her own hands unlike Guinevere-"
"Fine! I give up." Hermione chuckled, "You've really taken a liking to that book, haven't you"
Violet shrugged, "It's a good story"
"You can keep it"
"Really?" in just one conversation it felt as if their relationship was on the mend.
"Yeah, you seem to enjoy it more than I do"
The girls stood and stared at each other for a while with smiles on their faces. It had been so easy to slip back into the way things were. But the longer the silence dragged on the more they felt the depth of their drift.
Hermione turned towards the door and Violet's heart sank at the thought of her leaving and the two not speaking again for weeks.
"Hermione"
Her hand stopped just as her fingers grazed the doorknob.
"I miss you"
She turned back briefly and smiled, "I miss you too" and with that she left the room.
Of course it would have been a book that got Hermione talking again.
Violet felt as though she could hold out a little longer for Harry and Ron if she had Hermione back. Although they weren't fully reconciled, yet, a large improvement had been made. Violet felt as though a large weight had been lifted off of her shoulders.
At dinner Violet sat on the end of the Gryffindor table. Dinner was always strictly a house affair and the rules weren't as lenient as they were at breakfast or lunch. She met Luna's eyes across the hall and even shared a smile with Hermione.
The rest of the evening Violet spent finishing off little pieces of school work and lounging around the dorm, reading. Hermione came back in at around nine and went straight to sleep whereas Violet tossed about in her bed waiting for the clock to strike eleven.
About half an hour before Violet changed her underwear to a black lacy bra and matching panties. Over the top she put on some sleep shorts and a maroon oversized hoodie which reached about halfway down her thighs. She combed her hair and let the ringlets fall around her shoulders.
She snuck out from her dorm and made her way across the castle towards the dungeons. Once she descended the staircase she started her journey to the Slytherin dorms. Violet had become quite proficient at navigating the dungeon corridors.
Once she reached the serpent tapestry she backed into the wall so that she was half covered by shadows and waited for Draco to arrive.
A few minutes later his blonde head appeared from behind the tapestry and Violet stepped forward into the light of the corridor.
"You can come in, the common room is empty" he outstretched his hand for her to take and then pulled her through the door.
When she stepped into the common room she was in awe. She'd been through the room before but her head had been covered by a hood and her eyes glued to the floor.
It looked so much more expensive than the Gryffindor common room. It had high ceilings covered with portraits of Slytherin alumni. Every chair was leather except from a green velvet chaise longue in front of one of the arched windows. The room was swirling with green shadows from the Black Lake and the grand fireplace in the centre of the room.
Violet stood gawping at her surroundings and Draco tugged on her hand. He eyed the portraits around them and Violet noted that the ones which were awake were scrutinizing her quizzically with raised eyebrows.
He pulled her up the stairs and down the corridor until they reached the door of his dorm.
"Theo?" Violet whispered.
"Gone" Draco responded as he pushed the door open and let Violet walk through.
She noticed that one of the beds had been removed from the room and the remaining one had been pushed to the centre of the wall.
"So he moved out?" Violet asked.
Draco walked to the middle of the room to meet her and slid his hands around her waist, pulling her forward. "He was hardly in here anyway. I simply suggested that he might be better off in Blaise's dorm"
"Suggested?"
"The suggestion may have cost me twenty galleons, but it was worth it. I needed my privacy" he smirked.
She broke away from his grasp and maintained eye contact as she stepped back towards the wall, "What would you need privacy for I wonder"
"No one likes a smartass, Gardner" The look on his face made her knees weaken. He was eyeing up her body and licked his lips as though he were a lion ready to devour his prey.
Violet felt her throat go dry as he strode across the room to meet her in only a few steps. He carried on towards her until her back hit the wall and his palms were flat against either side of her head.
Draco leant his head down so that his lips were ghosting over hers. He smiled when she tried to pull forward and kiss him and wrapped his fingers around her throat, pushing her back into the wall.
He moved his lips back so they rested just above hers and felt the air exhale from her nose while her heartbeat thrummed against his fingers.
"Do you want me to kiss you?" his voice was a low murmur and he was so close Violet was sure she could feel the vibrations of his voice enter her body.
"Yes" she spoke on an exhale.
"Beg"
Her eyes shot to his. Where she expected to find a smirk instead held a stern look as his gaze bore into hers. She said nothing and occasionally flicked her eyes between his lips and meeting his gaze.
Draco applied more pressure around her neck and she relished the feeling of his silver ring pressed against her pulse point. "I said beg"
She was so close to giving in. So desperate to feel his lips against hers but she was also determined to hold her resolve a little while longer.
Violet's breaths were shallow as he varied his pressure against her neck and her teeth sunk into her lower lip. She stretched her arm forward and placed her hand over his crotch where there was already a rather prominent bulge.
"No"
Draco groaned into her ear and shifted his hips forward slightly, "Drop the attitude before I fuck it out of you. You little brat"
Violet had never been the more dominant of the two but with Draco moaning at every flex of her fingers she felt like the most powerful woman alive, "I'll take the challenge"
He swiftly picked her up and tossed her carelessly onto the bed. Draco's body loomed over hers as he brought his hand up to cup her cheek. The pad of his thumb ran across her lip and she opened her mouth slightly as he slid it in. She closed her lips around him and swirled her tongue over the tip of his thumb as a low growl was emitted from the back of Draco's throat.
He removed his thumb from her and ran his fingers under the hem of her jumper and then traced up the side of her body. Violet flinched inwards from the feeling of his cold fingers against her skin.
"Ready to beg for a kiss?"
"Not quite-"
She was silenced when he thrusted his hips to hers and he brushed right over where she needed him. Her back arched and a moan escaped her lips as her eyes fluttered shut.
He repeated the action at a slow pace and Violet squirmed under him as the heat in her core expanded and tightened.
Draco pulled at the fabric of the jumper around her neck with his index finger and made room for him to kiss across her collarbone. His teeth grazed against the column of her throat and when he looked back at her he was holding the pendant of her necklace between his teeth.
He continued to grind against her hips and she felt him fully erect against her now pulsating clit. The pace was destroying her and she was bucking her hips to his as he chuckled darkly.
Draco brought his lips down to hers and kept the pendant between his teeth.
"Take it," he hissed.
Violet struggled to comprehend what he had said as he continued to grind against her and her thoughts became incoherent.
He nudged the pendant against her lips, "Take it"
Once she understood she parted her lips slightly and Draco lowered the pendant in between her teeth. As she bit down on it Draco's lips brushed against hers and she couldn't bite back the whimper that escaped as he pulled back again.
His hand slid along her bare thigh and pulled it up so that his thrusts became deeper and Violet cried out a list of expletives.
He took her face in his hand and brought her gaze to his, "All you have to do is beg and I'll give you what you want, darling"
If her resistance hadn't already been blown to pieces the use of a pet name was certainly what finished her off. She dropped the pendant of the necklace and nestled her face against his hand.
"Please"
"Please what?" he teased.
"Please kiss me––fuck me. Please just let me cum" she tripped over her words as she tried to articulate her desires.
"Good girl"
Draco dove his head down to hers and connected their lips. It was the most satisfying kiss Violet had ever received in her life.
She placed her hands either side of his face and slipped in her tongue as Draco smirked against her lips. Violet could feel Draco's shallow breaths against her top lip and she knew that he needed her just as much as she needed him.
Violet pulled away for a breath and Draco took the opportunity to rip off and cast aside her jumper. His eyes roamed her body, hungrily and she noticed as he took in her chest. His eyes glinted and his pupils dilated at the sight.
"They're matching" Violet gestured towards her panties with a nod of her head.
Without hesitation Draco tore off her shorts and licked his lips as he admired her body beneath him.
"Fuck Gardner" he murmured.
"Do you like it?"
He lowered himself over her and placed a kiss against her lips, "I love it"
The heat in her core transformed into a whole fire as she kissed him feverishly and tore off his dress shirt.
Draco trailed the kisses down her neck and his lips were hot against her skin. He would occasionally sink in his teeth or suck on the skin to form a purple mark of possession. The kisses made their way down to her chest, he tugged at the cup of her bra and kissed and sucked the peak of her breast. Violet moaned and arched her back in pleasure, drawing her fingers down the centre of her body until they reached the top of Draco's hair and tangling her fingers amongst the blonde strands.
Draco carried on kissing down her body until he reached the top of her underwear and stopped. He lifted his head and Violet nodded in consent.
He ran a single finger along her clothed slit and Violet bit down on her lip to suppress a moan, "Fuck you're so wet you've soaked through your underwear"
Violet thought of trying to retort but it died in her throat when Draco pressed his tongue against her core and Violet wished she wasn't wearing any underwear.
His tongue dragged up her slit, applying extra pressure when he ran over her clit and carrying on up to the top of her panties. He brought the fabric between his teeth and used his mouth to seductively guide it off of her body. Once the fabric reached her thighs he yanked it off by hand.
Draco pried her legs apart and leant forward, staying just far enough that she could feel his breath against her.
"Please Draco" she breathed.
His tongue darted out and ran through her folds. Violet's face scrunched in pleasure as she moaned out and bucked her hips slightly.
He pushed his hand down on her hips to hold her in place but Violet writhed under his touch with each flick of his tongue.
Draco added a finger into her. Then another. He pumped them aggressively in and out, then curled them against the spot which made her see stars.
She was already so close to the edge that when he brought his lips up and sucked on her clit the coil inside her snapped. Her vision spotted white and her legs shook as Draco helped her ride through her high.
When she eventually came back down Draco was casting the contraceptive charm over her stomach and tossing aside his wand.
Violet noticed his lips glistening with her arousal and she brought her hand up to his face. Her thumb dragged along his lip and then she brought it back and placed it into her own mouth, sucking off the excess.
Draco emitted a low growl of pleasure at the sight and dove his head back down to meet her lips. As she deepened the kiss Draco slid his hand round to her back and unclasped her bra and slid it down and off her arms.
His teeth grazed and bit down on the skin of her shoulder then ran his tongue along the tortured flesh and all the way up to her ear. Violet shuddered as the tingles rolled up her spine.
She started to fiddle with the buckle of his trousers, desperate for more.
"You want me that badly?" Draco chuckled.
Violet mustered up all of her strength and flipped them over so that she was straddling his lap. Draco folded his forearm under his head and watched as Violet removed his belt and then pulled down both his trousers and boxers in one.
Draco placed his hand on Violet's waist and the other around his length, guiding her as she slid onto it. Once Draco was inside her she shifted her hips up and snapped them back down to Draco's causing both of them to moan in a melodious manner.
She carried on at a slow pace mewling as Draco hit undiscovered spots inside of her.
Draco sat up and pressed Violet's chest flush against his as he bucked his hips rapidly, creating the friction they both so feverishly desired. Draco's lips connected to her neck and started to suck on the skin, adding to the array of love bites already formed.
In one swift motion Draco flipped them back down onto the bed so that she was beneath him and he was setting the pace. He was fucking her so hard she was sure he wanted to form a permanent dent in the mattress.
She looked up at him and watched as a bead of sweat formed around his forehead and ran down to his furrowed brow. His lips were slightly parted and his breathing was ragged as he inched ever so close to the edge.
His eyes burned into hers and he was examining her in the same detail. Noting how her eyes would scrunch during a whimper or the way her hair sprawled out across his pillow.
Both found the other utterly irresistible.
When Violet was mere moments from the edge two words slipped from her lips that she never expected.
"Hit me"
Draco's thrusts slowed as he looked down at her, but Violet wrapped her ankles around the backs of his thighs and pushed him back into her. Both cried out from the feeling.
"Draco, hit me" she panted.
His pace was picking back up and they were equally as close to toppling over the edge.
Draco's hand stroked down her cheek before he raised it into the air and struck her across the face. Violet cried out in pain and pleasure as she came hurtling down, convulsing in his grip.
A few thrusts later Draco came and she could feel as he twitched inside of her. The sound of him moaning into her shoulder almost coaxing her into going another round, but her limbs were already limp from exertion.
Draco rolled off and lay beside her on the bed as they both caught their breath. He grabbed his wand from the nightstand and cast a cleansing charm over the two of them.
He walked over to his dresser and slid on some joggers and tossed her the same 'Malfoy' shirt she'd slept in last time.
Once she was changed Violet slumped into bed and Draco got in beside her. She lay flat on her back expecting that he'd want to sleep apart, just as they had before but Draco's hand slithered around her waist and pulled her into him so that his bare chest was curved against her back.
Draco stroked his fingers over the red flesh of Violet's cheek, where he'd hit her. "You're the last person I would've expected to have a pain kink" he snickered against her ear.
"Me too"
Her gaze dropped to his forearm where the dark mark sat. Prominent and garish. She clasped his forearm within her hands and placed a kiss against the mark.
"Draco, I love––I love... spending time with you"
He was silent for a moment and Violet wasn't sure if he was breathing since the rise and fall of his chest halted. Then he dropped his hands to her stomach and started to trace circles against her skin.
"Now who's gone soft?"
