Xander walked through the forest,Soren following"are you sure it's safe,love?"

Xander smiled softly"what's wrong with a small visit?"Soren crossed his arms"well Victoria almost had me lick you up."Xander chuckled"well thank god for my charm or I would've wasted away in a cage."

Soren smiled and ran up to Xander's side"thank god for you being a hot badass or I wouldn't have hesitated to fight you."Xander gasped"you were going easy on me the whole time!?"

Soren smirked"only because I fell in love with you at first sight."he flirted,Xander stared at him"you first saw me as a wolf,you furry."Soren laughed"why did you have to remember that?"

Xander giggled and held Soren's hand,Soren stared at their hands"did you just.."

"Don't push it,babe."Xander grumbled,Soren smiled and rested his head on Xander's shoulder.

Xander and Soren sneaked into the castle and up to Dillan's room,he wasn't there.

Xander hummed"you in here,dill pickle?"he asked as he walked in"JESUS!"someone yelled and after a bit Dillan poked his head out of a door"I was taking a fucking shower,learn to knock!"

Xander chuckled"we just wanted to see you,sorry for barging in."Dillan stared at Xander"what's wrong?"Dillan shook his head"it's nothing,just let me get some clothes."

Xander and Soren sat down awkwardly"you don't think Victoria's nearby right?"Soren asked,Xander shook his head.

Dillan then walked in and sat beside them"I missed you guys,what's been happening?"Soren smiled softly"well we have new recruits,though we aren't sure what their gifts are."

Xander nodded"turns out that one of them is a friend of Molly."Dillan hummed"well I've been training to be a soldier,I even met this girl named Dawn."he glanced at Xander.

"Anyways,you guys didn't do anything I'd miss out on,right?"Dillan asked"well,we established some ground rules."Soren summed up.

Soren glanced to the door nervously"everything's fine,Victoria is spending time with the king."Xander hummed Victoria looked so similar.

"Well either way I'm going to scout,both of us aren't allowed in the castle."Soren then got up and walked away,Xander awkwardly smiled at Dillan.

Dillan smiled"did you miss me,twigs?"Xander chuckled"maybe a tiny bit."Dillan looked to the faint scratches on his face that were almost too faint to notice"hey,what happened?"

Xander touched the scratches"long story,but I'm fine."Dillan ignored him and caressed Xander's face as he examined the scars"Dillan,you aren't my doctor get off me!"

"Nope."Dillan lightly touched the wound"you want me to kiss it better?"he teased,Xander blushed and looked away.

"You didn't answer me."Dillan chided"I said I'm fine,it doesn't even hurt anymore!"Xander grumbled,he stared into Dillan's deep brown eyes and sighed"but you can if you want."he muttered.

Dillan smirked and kissed the side of his face"feel better?"Xander nodded"I guess."Dillan chuckled and sat back down"sorry if that was a bit too close,I mean,we only just started dating and-"

Xander smiled"it's fine Dillan,at least you asked."Soren then walked back in"you ready to go,love?"Xander nodded"I'll be right there!"

Soren nodded and walked away,Xander then turned to Dillan and kissed his cheek"see you later,dill pickle."he then followed Soren outside.
