I just remembered that I was playing in a playground. A happy child in a normal world. Always coming home from school eating mom's favorite food.

Until I got older and at this point I'm 18. I don't know what I want to do with my life.
Until one time my mother was seriously ill.
I don't know what I will do. It's scary
She is the only one I have in my life.

I don't want to lose her, but suddenly a tragedy happened one night when we were sleeping soundly in our house.
I heard a loud bang and noise in front of our house.

I looked out the window and I was very surprised that there were strange creatures around our house.

Tall, dark, and seemingly faceless.

My chest was pounding with fear. I quickly went to mom's room. I saw her lying there. I tried to wake her up but the first time I shook her she didn't wake up so I tried once again.

"Steven." She said my name in a low voice while coughing

"Mom." I said while holding her hand.

"I'm scared mom, there are people outside, I don't know why? They're looking at our house." panicked voice.

My mother held my hand tighter.

"Son, my only son don't be afraid." She said that in a calm voice as if she was not afraid.

She pointed to something at the end of his bed.
"Take that son and leave." said mom while almost fainting.

"But mom?" I'm confused. I don't know what my mother meant.

"Son, go away! it's you they want to take, go away!" my mother's voice grew louder.

I quickly took a suit case that my mother showed me and I went out the back of the house with a short cut to the forest. While walking I was nervous, my mind was floating about where I was going.

I was so tired that I stopped at a tree. I'm very thirsty. I took a deep breath while looking at the suit case that my mother sent me.

I closed my eyes for a moment and cried. I didn't know what was going to happen, I was so worried for my mom.

After a while I noticed something was lighting up in the suit case I was carrying. I tried to stare at it for a few seconds.

And I can't wait to know what it contains. I opened it.

I was surprised! A white paper flew in the air!

I took this glowing paper. I tried to read it at first glance but you can't read it right away. The letters are jumbled as if no words can be formed.

I scratched my head.
I'm thinking how can I read it, I don't understand it. The letter is cut apart.

I tried to blow it, but there was nothing, I tried to sit down, but nothing could be read.
I walked a little and suddenly I was scratched by a plant thorn.

"Ahhh!" I said because my hand was scratched.

I think I'm very unlucky. I suddenly panicked because I remembered that the paper would get dirty but----

I was surprised that it became even brighter! And slowly the letters form.
I read it.

To: Steven

     If this thing is with you now and you can read it. I want to tell you that you're so unique that you can read this letter. Go to the nearest lake you can see near your house and just mention the chant written in this paper.

The light of the paper slowly died and it slowly broke. I noticed that the suit case I was carrying was moving so I quickly went to it.

The box suddenly opened. I was taken back by a creature coming out of the suitcase. I quickly turned my eyes and looked for a piece of wood that I could hit the village thing with.

"Ahhhh! Hi." said a small creature in surprise.

It has big ears, its color is gray and it has two cute teeth. Its eyes are very big and twinkling.

I aimed at it with the stick I was holding.
"Who are you? don't you dare come near me!" I said scaredly as I strove.

I noticed that this creature was also scared because it covered its face with its big thick ears.
I felt pity so I let go of the wooden stick I was holding. The creature also slowly opened its face that had been hidden earlier.

I bent down slowly.
I stared at him for a few seconds and he did the same to me.

"What are you?" I asked while pointing at him.

He was also surprised and looked at his hands.

"Ahh what am I?"
"I'm Molly." It smiled at me but was obviously still scared.

"What are you doing inside the suitcase?" I wondered.

"Me? ahh, ahh I'm a petrophide, I'm Molly." he said.

"PETROPHIDE?" I wondered.

I saw him nod at me.

"Yes, we are creatures that the master needs." he said while looking at me.

I'm confused by what's happening.
"So you came from inside the suitcase?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm Molly." he said again.

"Yes, yes, yes, you are Molly, again and again." I said.

He looked at the suitcase.

"So you are Steven, right?" he asked.

"Yes why? What's the problem?" I asked.

"Have you read the letter?" he asked me nervously with a little excitement on his face.

"Yes, I'm supposed to go to the lake near us, it's nonsense!" I said.

I was surprised when this little creation took my hand.

"I have to accompany you, that's one of my roles that I promised your mom." he said.

"Huh? Does mom know you?" I asked as we walked.

"Yes, your father entrusted me to her."

"My father? You're a liar! I was born into this world without a father!" I said.

"No, Steven you have a father! He was my first master." he said that it was obvious in his voice that he was telling the truth.

"If I have a father? Where is he now I lived 18 years without him!" I said disgustedly.

I stopped walking for a while, I was very mixed emotions. I didn't know I could feel a lot of things happening that I didn't understand.

"Steven." said this little creature Molly.

He handed me a black necklace with an emerald green crystal in the middle.

"Last time your father and I saw him, he said I should give it to you." said Molly.

"For what? Will that thing can be sold? aren't you going to get rich there?" I asked.

"This is protection Steven, that's the last memory he can give you."

We just kept walking until eventually we could see the lake.
I first looked around to see if there were other people.
Molly and I slowly approached the lake.
I looked at my reflection in the water but there is nothing special about our lake.

I asked Molly. "Is this the right lake why don't I have a reflection?" I wondered.

"Because only those who deserve it will see their reflection there." he answered.

"I don't care about that! What else are we doing here? I'll just go home!" I said.

"No, no, no Steven look!" he shouted as I stopped walking.

I saw on the other side of the lake and there was a strange creature. Thin tall with three horns.

"Shit! what is that?" I said scared and irritated.

The monstrous creature came to throw a big stone at us. That's why I immediately took Molly and ran and hid in a big tree.

I'm breathing too fast.
I asked Molly in a low voice. "What is that? Why is that village monster there?"

"Archigiants." he said that he was obviously very scared too.

"What the fuck is that thing?!"

Suddenly we felt the ground shaking. The  Archigiants are obviously approaching us.
I'm thinking of a way. I carried Molly like a little cat.

"What are you doing?!" Molly asked nervously.

I ran to the lake.

"I can't think of a way!" I said while running.

The Archigiant of the village saw us and chased after us but without a doubt I jumped into the lake while holding Molly.

When we went to the lake, I couldn't see anything, it was so dark. I held Molly tightly. I almost lost my breath because I'm not good at swimming.

I see that Molly is losing his life and I don't know what to do!

It's very dark.

It entered my mind to touch the necklace my father had given me.

I was thinking about those times. If it's true that it was given to me for protection, show me right now what you can do!

And I remeber even under water I mentioned

Suddenly, the surroundings became bright and we were surprised to find ourselves in the grass. I almost lost my breath.

I noticed that the surroundings have changed, if before there were only tall trees, now it is a peaceful place.

I saw Molly lying down.

"Molly! Molly!" I shouted as I gave him CPR.

He is not breathing.

"Molly! Can you hear me? Answer me Molly!" I screamed in worry.

I tried to CPR Molly again but nothing, he stopped breathing.

I sat on one side wet and bent over.
I thought it was all my fault.

"I lost everything!" I shouted in pain.

I turned my back while crying.

After a while I heard someone coughing. When I think......

"Molly!" I said with a little joy.

I immediately approached him and tried CPR again.

He coughed up with water.

"S-Steven." he said in a low voice.

I sat down and hugged him

"I thought I was going to loose you!" I said.

"Thank you Steven, My new master." he said in his cute voice.

"New master? Me? Why?" I wondered.

"Because only those with good hearts become our masters." he answered.

We looked at a big castle not far away.

"There are people like you in there Master Steven. Go." he pushed me.

I was surprised when he pushed me, it was only weak, but I was surprised when I was in front of the castle.

'And only then I realize that magic is real and only those who believe can actually experience and see it.
