I tried to, but my mother wouldn't allowed it. The only thing he always says is "You are the one I see inheriting my throne" he says too much it's annoying!

"Prince Axel, here is your breakfast." the old nanny said. My favorite nanny.

I woke up from my dream that I was talking to someone.
I quickly stood up and thanked nanny.
Another day, another boring life in some pillars of the castle that I see every day for 23 years of my life!

"Poor me, I don't have a decision for myself, but it's a good thing you're so handsome!" I said while looking in the mirror with a wink.

I took some berries that were prepared for me for breakfast. I went to my big window and looked at the beauty of the environment.

In my mind at this moment it is very beautiful here, peaceful, quiet and many beautiful views but this is not what I want.

I know myself what I want. So I went back to the room to get another change of clothes. I will leave if they don't want to train me because I want to work for myself!

"Wait Prince Axel! Where are you going?" the servants said worriedly.

"Don't bother me, I can handle myself." I said while carrying my cowboys hat.

"But Prince Axel and we will be scolded." said a servant in fear.

I make face. "Just say my name, bye." I winked at the servants and left.
I went to my friends easily. My friends are not like the ones I grew up in, they are just simple people and have no job.

"Axyyy!" Hans greeted me. I gave him a peacebomb.

"Long time no see Axel! its been 7 months!" greeted by one of our friends.

"Yeah, yeah I know. You know I'm not allowed to go out of my own prison hahahaha!" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah dude, have some tea!" Hans offered me.

"Btw Axel, the announcement will be next week to know who will be included in the opening of----" Gian didn't finish what he had to say when I spilled the tea he gave me.

"Arghh! so hot!" I said.

He immediately gave me a rag.

"Sorry dude, I forgot to tell you that the tea is still too hot." he said.

"It's okay Hans, I got it." I said.

"So? Axel what's your plan?" Gian's question came back to me.

"I plan to go." the only thing I said.

"But how? Your queen mother will find out and be angry with you." Gian said.

"I need your help."

"Oh c'mon dude, I knew it!" said Hans as he put his hand on his head.

"Hahaha, who else is going to help me, you're the only ones, right?"

"Yeah dude, but the queen might scold us when she finds out." said Hans

I shook my head. "No, just don't it say of course!" I said.

"So, what is your plan?" Gian asked again.

I looked at their clock and noticed that I needed to return to our kingdom.

"I'm going home guys, no I mean going back to my prison! Hahahaha! see you tomorrow night and you'll know what's my plan."

I quickly took the horse I was carrying and left their house.

When I arrived at the kingdom, I saw that the servants and gruads were gathered inside.
I saw my mother sitting on her throne. I can see the disappointment on his face.
I just ignored him and should have continued to my room but...

"Axel." I was surprised when she called me. I quickly came to her side.

"Where did you go?" she asked.

I scratched the back of my neck.

"I went outside to see some animals, no! plants." I answered nervously.

I saw her take a deep breath.

"Then, BRING THE RING OF TRUTH! NOW!" she shouted at the kingdom servant.

The servant was easy to take. I was nervous as I knew he would know.

So I thought of a good way.

I saw the servant coming with the ring of truth.

"Mom! I brought you flowers!" I broke the tension between us.

I handed it to her.

"Aww, my sweet lovely boy. You actually remembered to bring me flowers." she said.

I used to think that's all there is to it and it's over but.....

"And now put your finger inside the ring of truth." she smiled at me annoyingly.

"But my hands are wet!" I said just to have a reason.

"Now!" she shouted.
I have no choice but to put my finger.
I just closed my eyes at the result.

"Did you hang out with your bastard friends again?!" she was so angry that he shook the things in our kingdom with his power.

"Close all the gates in the entire kingdom! No one will come out here, especially you Axel!" Just like her fire power, her eyes and voice were also blazing with anger.

"What mom?! look I'm sorry that won't happen again." I beg her. 

"No! what you should do is practice to become a true king! not go with your bastard friends!" she yelled in my face

I went up to my room. I saw from above that the gruads were closing all the doors in our kingdom. I lay down on my bed. I thought that my boring life would start again.

I went out to the terrace of the room and looked at the stars.

"What can you do if I ask something?" I asked the stars above.

"Of course nothing! right? Because it's just a fantasy." I also answered to myself.

"Right? right?" I asked the stars as if provoking them.

But suddenly, something suddenly fell in the room which surprised me so I entered immediately. I am very surprised. My vanity drawer is open.
I noticed there was a gold stick there. I took it and looked carefully.

I took it and when I took it, it moved a little, I was surprised. I was supposed to put it back in the drawer but it hit my vanity mirror. I was even more surprised when my mirror suddenly waved like a lake.

I tried again to place the stick on the mirror and the color of the mirror gradually changed that what I was seeing was not my reflection.
I see another place like a kingdom, vast and I see many trees. I tried to put my hand in. I was surprised because it was slipping!

So I looked for something that could be stitched, I found a shoe and tried to put it in the mirror. I was even more surprised when it came in! I looked to see if there was a hole behind the vanity but there was none.

Out of my mind I thought of going in.
When I enter, the speed of what happens is like I'm falling into another dimension, I have nothing to hold on to because I'm being pulled down.

I suddenly realized that I was in the grass. I looked around and this is not our kingdom.

"I'm somewhere else?" I wondered.

"Hey look! There is someone!" shouted the child who was approaching me.

"Hey Mister? are you also going to join the fight?" asked a child eating a lollipop.

The boy nodded.

"Fight? what fight?" I wondered.

"Yeah, there are five to choose from. That's when I remember." he said.

I remembered yes! But in this place? Such a speed!

"Where is the fight?" I asked the boy.

"Wait, which dimension are you from? Then do you have a team?" he asked.

"Huh? dimension? I think---" I couldn't finish saying as he led me.

"I think you are solo mister, then not here let's go where you belong." said the boy.

I just followed him. Slowly I could see a cave.

"That's where we're going?" I asked while pointing to the cave.

The boy nodded.

When I entered the cave, I saw many people, they were all looking at me.

"Congrats! you made it in!" greeted a voice I didn't know where it was coming from.

"Don't worry mister, it's the cave that's talking to you."

My eyes widened. It is worse here than in our world. I feel like I just want to go back to our kingdom while holding my neck.

I looked at the people, their faces were scary.

"So what's your name?" the cave asked.

"Axel." I answered.

"Don't be afraid Axel, soon you will know your power."

I just swallowed my saliva surprised of what that cave said.

"I know you're here because you want to know the truth, don't you?" added question of the cave.

I nodded.

"But you will only know what you want to know when you pass the task and become part of the five half bloods."

"Huh? the fight requires half blooded in order to be chosen? I thought any five were the only candidates and that's alreadly fine?!" I wondered.

I'm going crazy thinking what if I'm not half blood what if? how can I know the truth! I thought that only five people can enter and there's no requirements, but it turns out it's not.

"Don't worry Axel there will be a test."

I just sat dumbfounded. I'm here in a place I don't know, I don't know anyone and I don't know what my potential powers are.

"Hello." a woman greeted me.

I just looked and smiled.

"Are you going to join?" she asked.

I nodded.

"So, what powers do you have?" she asked.

"I have to let you know, because it's a bit embarrassing." I said.

"Ah then, okay good luck on the day of the battle." he told me.

I saw a little girl talking to some older guy than her. I remembered something. I remembered her. She is the reason why I want to join, and why I seek to know the truth.

"I want to know the truth. That is the only thing I know and the only thing I want." I said before closing my eyes.

Sometimes there is a reason behind your goal, or rather, there is someone behind your thoughts. That's why you push yourself too hard to see the best version of yourself.
