After I hung up, I ran to the nest Kio built for Pyro. She was standing with mom and Aunt Erika talking, while Starling, Lily and Wisty were trying to calm Pyro down. I joined them to see what I could do to help.
"There's nothing much to do, really" Kio told me, "he's been like this for months since the night of the encounter with Gaea"
It was true, it had been six months since Gaea had almost taken him.....six months since Luke was killed.
"Have you talked to Miley yet?" Erika asked.
"Earlier this morning, she was the same as always" I replied.
"We've got to do something, she can't stay like that forever" Erika remarked, "I don't want her dad to enter the scene, he's probably going to push her, and she doesn't need that right now"
"That's the thing, Erika, I think she does" said Tori as she made her way over here.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Your seriously going to let your daughter sit in her room sulking until she gets over herself? I don't remember Teresa letting you do that when you killed Veronica in the curse" Tori exclaimed.
Erika looked like she was about to lung at her.
"Go ahead, don't keep it in, let's take this to the arena, because you really need to toughen up"
"I don't know if you can get any tougher than a crystal" I whispered to my mom.
"Well actually the crystal completely shattered, how do you think they became shards?" She replied.
"Oh wow"
"Stay out of this, you two!" Erika snapped.
"Yikes" I said.
"Come on, Samantha, let's go" mom said, pulling me out of the storm the two cousins were stirring.
"Do you think we overdid it?" I asked.
"I think they overdid it, they are adult women, and if they're going to act like little girls and fight it out, there's no need to get involved"
I thought about my conversation with Lee earlier, and asked my mom a question that was bugging me since he left.
"What if you need to get involved because you need them to get involved?" I asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, Lee knows that we need him here, Asphy has even tried to convince him to come back, he's just....too stubborn to listen. Callum was so much better with him, with everyone, than me"
Mom sighed.
"I don't know what to say, sweetie, Lee has definitely been stubborn lately, I don't know why Tori hasn't talked to him, but I do know that you can't force people to listen to you, Callum is a leader, and sometimes, people lean more towards the leader." She answered.
"I guess you're right" I said.
"Veronica!" Called someone. It was John, running towards us.
"What is it?"
"It's Callum, he and his team found something you should see"

We followed John to his cabin, where Miley was waiting near the Iris Message.
"Look who's up and going!" I told her.
"I just....figured I should stop, I'm not helping anyone by sitting around all day" she said.
"Good for you," I told her, then turned to my brother, "hey, weirdo!" I said.
"Hey, Sam! Check this out!" Callum said.
In his hands, he held a piece of.....
"Erika's crystal????"
"How is that possible?" Mom asked.
"I honestly don't know" Callum said, "Johnathan and Chris are looking to see if there are any more, what should we do if they find any?"
"I don't know, um, keep them in a bag or something? Stuff them in your book bag?" John suggested.
"But what if they break in there? What will happen to Erika?" I thought out loud.
"........stuff them in carefully? I....I have no idea"
Face palming, I asked Callum, "do you have anything to put them in?"
"I do!" Said Johnathan in the background, he reached into his backpack and pulled out the box that Nico kept his crystal shard in six months ago.
"Why do you have that???" Callum asked.
"Well, I....um, I was trying to find something to hold the drachma we had for the trip, I don't know how I ended up in the Hades Cabin, but I did, I saw it, and I grabbed it because we were in a hurry" he explained.
"Well, it'll work" Miley said.
"Okay great, Johnny, have you and Chris found any of the crystals?"
I smiled, they got close enough for Callum to call him Johnny? That's awesome! When we were kids, he didn't call me Sam until I was ten years old.
"Nothing else was out there, but I lost Chris" 
"Nope, right here," Chris said, "I just found two pieces"
"Three crystal shards, that's a little weird, where did you find them?" I asked.
"We found the first one in a puddle" Callum said.
"Yeah, and these two were in a little pond"
I slammed the table from excitement, which made John jump a little bit.
I turned to Miley.
"Three crystals. In the water. What does that sound like?" I asked her.
"It sounds like what we did to get my mom back" she answered.
"Exactly!" I said.
"But why are her crystals appearing like this? Something big is going on, and I think Erika is tied to it somehow" Mom said.
"I am" Erika said.
We turned around, and she was at the door behind us.
"Mom?" Miley said.
"I'm really sorry Miley, but I haven't been very honest with any of you" She said.
"What do you mean?" John asked.
"I think it's time for me to tell you what really happened when I was crystallized"
