The trip to the underworld took a long time, about 4 months just to get into Los Angeles. But that's what happens when you're a half-blood fighting off a different monster almost every week, and trying to keep two fragile pearls that can take you out of the underworld from breaking. Charon wasn't a hard guy to convince. It was getting into Elysium that was the hard part.

I would really rather not tell you how that happened. Butc later, I finally got in. I asked around, and soon saw the wispy chestnut brown hair of the woman that trained me and my brother when we were younger.

Lee's POV

In the pool of water I kept nearby, I saw an Iris-message from Samantha.
"Hey, what's up? I asked when I answered.
"How's the apartment?" She asked.
"Pretty good, what did you really call me for?" I asked her.
"Lee, you need to come back home! You know this! The Hades Cabin needs you!" She pleaded.
"Miley's doing okay on her own" I said.
"Miley sulks in the corner of the room whenever she thinks no one notices, I hate seeing her like this, it's not right" Samantha remarked.
Avoiding the subject, I asked, "How's Callum doing on that quest?"
"He's fine, I check up on him every now and then" she sighed.
"Oh yeah, you mean every hour, right?" I asked sarcastically.
"Shut up you idiot" She smirked, "how's Asphy?" She asked.
"She's good, she's been working on some stuff for high school" I told her.
"Cool" she replied.
A roar sounded from a distance on Samantha's end.
"I gotta go, Pyro is acting up again" she said.
"Yeah, no problem" I replied.
She hung up, and I watched the cars pass through the road near the apartment for a few minutes until Asphy walked through the door.
"Hey! I'm home!" She said.
"Hi! Let me help you out real quick" I took her book bag and load of school papers and set them on the table.
"Did you talk to Samantha again?" She asked.
"Yeah, same stuff as always" I told her.
"How's Miley?"
"She's.....she's still sulking" I said.
"I wish we could help her" Asphy said sadly.
"Yeah, I know, but even a grandson of Hades knows that you can't bring back the dead, at least not with our resources" I told her.
She smiled.
"Wanna watch a movie tonight?" She asked.
"Sure, come on, let's enjoy being normal teenagers"
