Snow looked over at Tsunami with what could only be described as a childish joy and apretiation.

"We are happy to announce that this year we will be having a new winglet added to the Academy." Sunny said with a smile as she invited Starflight to come forward with a wing. "The new winglet to be added is the Berril winglet!" Starflight said with a smile as some of the dragonets started claping.

"We have made acomodations to add in a six winglet thanks to work from our friends in other tribes." Clay said as he smiled down at the dragonets.

Snow smiled at hearing the acomplishment the Acadamy had been able to do.

"We hope all of you enjoy your stay here at the Jade Mountain Academy." Starflight said with a smile as they walked into the cave.

Many of the dragonets and parents were saying their goodbyes and some where already going into the academy.

"Well, I guess I'll see you on vacations." Snows father said as he looked at his daughter. Snow smiled and taped her wing to his.

"Guess I will, dont give mom to much trouble while im gone." She joked earning a laugh from her father.

"I'll start heading back then, take care." Said the Icewing as he took off back in the direction they had come from. Snow looked at her father as he left and sighed.

She got up and headed into the library cave to get her pamphlet and her sleeping cave and clawmate arrangement.

Once she reached the library, she was awe struck at how many scrolls adorned the shelves. As she looked around she saw the Mudwing from earlier talking with Starflight as he was handed five scrolls.

"Thank you, come back any time. oh, hello miss." Starflight said as he senced Snow walking towards the desk.

"Hello Starflight. I came to ask about the scrolls that will help us." Snow said, not sure if that made scense.

"Oh, yeah, hold on a minute. Name please"

"Snowflare."

Starflight shufled through some scrools before graving a small bundle of them and handing them to Snow.

"These are for your winglet, Clawmates and whitch cave you'll be sleeping in." explained the Nightwing as Snow took them from his talons.

"Thank you Starflight." Snow said before leaving to find her cave and her classes.

As she walked through the halls she encounterd a few dragons of diffrent tribes and talked with many Rainwings whom seamed to like the quils on her neck and tail.

As she continued walking she managed to find her room and walked in to see if any of her Clawmates were in their.

Their was a red and green Rainwing resting on a hammock seaming to be drawing something on a scroll.

On one of the Stone beds rested a dark green Seawing her back turned to the emptines of the room as they seamed to read.

"Um... Hello." Snow said, a bit Akwardly at how calm it was.

The first to turn was the Rainwing whom glided off her hammock and landed infront of Snow.

"Hi their, you must be our Icewing Snowflare right? Its a pleaser to meet you." The Rainwing said as she bounced around Snow and inspected her a bit. "Im Laceleaf by the way." She introduced herself.

Snow smiled at the Rainwings enthusiasm and then looked over at the Seawing who was sitting on the stone bed with a slightly scared look on her face. She held her wings in close as if someone were to rip them off if she opend them.

"Im Rainstar, Im the Seawing of your winglet." She said, her voice soft and shaking a bit due to her trembling.

Snow walked over to her and extended a talon. "Im Snowflare, dont worrie I dont bite." She said, tying to lighten the mood and calm the Seawing.

Rainstar looked at Snows talon and then shook it. "Its nice to meet you." Rainstar said, her wings relaxing a bit and letting the inside of the membrane be a bit visible.

Snow cough a glimpt of something shiny from under Rainstars wings and wonderd what it was. Rainstar seamed to take notice and quickly tightend her wings again so nothing could see the inside.

Snow sighed a bit but didn't ask any questions so she wouldn't make the Seawing nervous. Laceleaf walked over to them and smiled.

"Hey, we should go and see who else is in our winglet, that way we can start making more friends." Said the Rainwing as she jumped out of the cave.

"Wanna come along?" Snow asked Rainstar.

Rainstar shook her head no. "Im not very social, sorry." She apologized before laying back down.

Snow sighed but didn't preasure her into going. She made her way out of the cave and continued looking foe some other esential placed, such as the food cave.

As Snow traveld through she found herself staring back at the entrance of the Academy and making her way over to it, mostly wanting to see if their were any other dragonets coming.

Fire and Ice will share you a guard

Snow wiped her head around as she heard whispering. She bared her teeth and lifted her wings up to push away any attacker. As time passes by she didn't find any trace of anyone.

<probably the wind> She though and made her way back to her sleeping cave.

Just incase this Isn't clear Snow doesn't know the others(i.e Rainstar and Viperhead) are hybrids so she is calling them by the tribe they resemble the most off
