I just wanted to post this because I'm bored...

~Matilda's POV~

*~*The day of the attack*~*

It was just an average day, Angel went to school, and I dropped Levin off at Zoey's house so I could go to work.

I was on my computer when I got onto the news and clicked on the latest button. I saw a new headline titled, 'Shooting at Local High School'.

I was just hoping it wasn't Phoenix Drop High. I clicked on it and, to my horror, it was Phoenix Drop High School.

The article said,

'It was just a normal day at Phoenix Drop High when the school had to go into lockdown because of a man bearing a firearm. 'No one, at first, thought he would be a threat. He hid the gun, but that didn't make us trust him without going into lockdown.' Lola, the secretary, told the reporters. The man seemed to have only two targets, who were both freshman. Only one was injured, but no one was killed. One of the girls are in critical condition, while the other girl was unharmed. The girl, Angel Heart, daughter of Matilda and an older sister to Levin, was shot in the arm and the head. Teachers, students, and everyone are praying, and hoping she's all right. 'I didn't know what was going on, so I asked if I could go out for a bit, and the teacher said yes, but I randomly saw him in the school. I saw him talking to a group and a girl, I don't want to say the group's or the girl's name, but I know them. I walked out, and once I found out who they wanted him to attack, and I ran, trying to make sure they didn't see me. The girl pointed at me, and he shot, but he barely missed. I saw Angel stick her head out of the principle's office and I ran in with her. She popped her head out again, then quickly drew it in, missing the bullet by barely a second! The bullet went through the wall and marked where her head would have been. The guy walked in, pointed the gun at me, then... then...' One of the victims, Aphmau, told us. The reporters told her that she didn't have to say anything if she didn't want to, but she ended up telling us her point of view of the incident. The students were allowed to leave early, and were given the rest of the week off. ~Published by Yip of the Phoenix Drop daily news~'

I quickly got up and asked my boss if I could go see Angel. He said yes, and I sprinted out to my car.

I had tears in my eyes, and I was on the road to see Angel. Once I got to the hospital I got a phone call from Zoey.

*~*Start call*~*

Z=Zoey; M= Matilda

Z: Matilda, what happened? I just saw Phoenix Drop High on the Breaking News. Tell me everything.

M: Well... I guess you need to know. *Explains*

Z:Oh my Irene... who would do such a thing?

M: I don't know, but I don't want Levin to see her like this.

Z: Are you seeing her now?

M: Yes.

Z: Okay, I will talk to you later then, bye.

M: Bye.

*~*End call*~*

I walked in and saw some of Angel's friends waiting in the waiting room. One of the parents saw me, stood up, and walked over to me. I tucked in my ears so they wouldn't see them (Cause she's an elf if you don't remember from season 1 MCD). When she reached me, she looked very tired.

"Are you Matilda?" She asked, holding out her hand, and I took it. We shook hands.

"Yes, I am. And you are?" I asked, looking at her.

"I'm Savanna, Aphmau's mother. Aphmau told me what happened, and I came here as fast as I could." She said, as one of the children came over.

She had black hair, amberish eyes, and her eyes were full of concern. She looked up at me, and must have, seen my ears.

"Are you an elf?" She asked, and I sighed.

"Was it obvious?" I asked, looking at her.

"When you shook my mom's hand some of your hair went behind your ear, and I saw you try to hide them." She said, and I smiled.

"I don't like people to know, mostly because I don't have any powers like some elves." I said, somewhat referring to Zoey.

Just then a nurse came out and saw me.

"You must be Angel's mother. I will have you know Angel is in stable condition, and the wounds will leave no scars that are visible from a distance. But..." She said, before hesitating.

"Is it her eyes? Cause she's been losing and gaining her vision again and again since she was little." I said, not caring that the others would hear.

One of the other mothers stood up and came over, the three sons that must have been hers followed her. She had emerald green eyes, black hair, and she looked kindly at me.

One of her sons looked like her, except one of his eyes were covered, and his only eye visible was a light blue. The one that must have been the oldest, looked almost nothing like her. He had sandy colored hair, and darker blue eyes. The third one, who looked nothing like the older two, must have been the youngest. He had brown/reddish hair, bright green eyes, and he must have been like his oldest brother and mother, because he too looked at me with concern.

"How does that even happen? My name is Zianna Ro'Meave, by the way. And these are my three sons: Garroth; Zane; and Vylad." The woman said, indicating to each son.

"Sorry to cut introductions short, but you can go see Angel now, Matilda." The nurse said, looking at me, and I nodded.

"Can I see her too?" Aphmau suddenly jumped in.

"Right now it should just be family." The nurse said kindly to her.

"Oh... okay..." She said, obviously disappointed.

The nurse showed me to Angel's room and opened the door for me.

She looked like she was trying to stay calm. She had her eyes closed, and her blonde hair was in a ponytail on top of her head. She was in a new set of clothes that looked amazing.

"We only plan to keep her here for a few days. She's healing surprisingly fast. Nothing was harmed, only a few flesh wounds. She should be out in about three days." the nurse told me, and I nodded again, tears in my eyes.

I walked in and the nurse closed the door behind me.

Angel opened her eyes from the click the door made when it closed. Her irises were almost white, and her pupils were dilated, trying to find light (science was added into the story).

"Mom?" She asked, looking at me.

"Angel... I want to know exactly what caused the attack to happen." I said, as a girl with hair like fire walked in.

"It wasn't her fault, Miss. It is assumed that the group called, The Shadow Knights, and a "popular" girl, named Ivy, planned it. My name is Cadenza, nice to meet you." She said, and Angel sat up. She had trouble, but she managed.

"Where's Laurence, Cadenza?" She asked, looking towards the door.

"He's out in the lobby asking Aphmau some questions about the attack. You'll have to ask Sasha, Gene, Zenix, and Ivy if you want the real reason of the attack." She said, looking at Angel, who nodded.

"I'll make sure to do that... once I get out of the state i'm in... which will be in about three days." Angel said, making her spiteful face. Cadenza just smiled...
