Did you all see the cover? Isn't it too beautiful? I am in love with it. Thanks to yoursonly_clichegirl She is damn amazing.

"Always remember: marriage is a gift. Allow the revelation to direct your thoughts and habits in marriage." ― Ngina Otiende

Marriage is not just about love. It is more than that. It is about commitment, giving, taking, communicating and understanding. The fact that you want to spend your entire life with someone and be a part of their everyday life means that you are ready to share everything, compromise somewhere, and agree to trust your partner. Marriage stands the test of times when both you and your spouse work towards making things better. And we are tested the most when we face adversities. If you can sail through the adversities as one, as a team, then you have won half the battle.

M A N I K

Since the time the news of mine and Nandini's broke out, it's literally everywhere. All the news channels, news portals has been telecasting this news as a piece of cake. And what to say about social media. My phone hanged because of continuous notifications. I had to close it down to make my phone work again. I wonder why people are so much interested in our personal lives. The worst part is they judge us so much as if we can't have our own choices as we are so called public figure.

Last night was really hectic. First the reception then I also had to take care of the last minute arrangements of our honeymoon. Even though it was supposed to be a month long tour but I can't leave for this long. I am having a tournament in one and half months. So, I need to do practice for that. That's why we will be leaving for 10 days only.

At first, I thought Nandini would be sad hearing it. But being the sweetest soul, she didn't oppose even for ones and agreed with me. I wonder how she is so good. She is too good and naive for this world.

When I got back home, I found her lost, which is a rare sight. At first, I thought maybe it's because our families are leaving tomorrow. So, she is bound to be sad. After all, she has to be alone here.

But when I went near her, I knew the reason was something else. She has read the comments on our pictures in social networking sites and as I had expected most of the comments were from trollers. I had read somewhere that Indian trollers are the worst and I also believe in it.

Seeing me, Nandini tried to hide them but I was fast enough to see them. What is she thinking? If she won't show me, then I wouldn't get to know. I know all this better. But it's the first time she is seeing them. That's why she is feeling this worse. She will get used to this with passing times. She doesn't deserve this but being connected to me, she has to face it.

But I have to talk to her and make her understand things as it's the first time. Thankfully she is smart enough to get it easily what I was trying to explain to her. The smile formed on her face was my peace. Her smile brightens my day.

M O R N I N G

My slumber broke as soon as Nandini moved out of my grip. But I was too lazy to open my eyes so I decided to see what she was about to do. I could feel her staring at me. I wonder what she must be seeing so keenly. Then I felt her lips on the mole on my face. I know she is obsessed with it even though she never told this to me herself.

Then I could feel her touching my hair and pecking on my forehead. Now I wrapped my arms around her waist. I could imagine her eyes must have grown wide as I couldn't see her face. I smiled in my mind and waited for her to show her face.

Nandini slowly moved down and now I could see her face.

"Is it fair to take advantage of your sleeping husband?"

"Were you awake all the while?" She couldn't hide the surprise in her tone.

A naughty smile broke on my face as I couldn't let the chance of teasing go from my hand. "When I have such a beautiful in my arms, how can I sleep?" She was trying to free herself from my grip but she failed to do so. "Where do you think you are going?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

Nandini made a bad face. After a lot of nok-jhok, we had a shower together, obviously ignoring all Nandini's pleas.

When I got out of the room, I guess everyone was already up. Nandini had managed to run away from the room earlier and I could hear her voice.

A I R P O R T

Everyone flew back to Dehradun apart from Akash. He lives here in Mumbai as I have to stay here but not with me. I have asked him numerous times to stay with me but he is not ready to do so. His flat is near mine.

I could feel Nandini's mood was a little off and I know this time it's because our families have gone back. Thankfully there was not much crowd in the airport. Maybe it's because it was early in the morning. So, we didn't face much trouble walking out of there.

I was driving the car. Nandini was sitting beside me in the passenger seat. Akash went somewhere else saying he has some work.

I held Nandini's hand which was on her lap. "It's okay, sunshine, we will go to meet them soon."

Nandini passed a smile to me. "Hmm... But still it will feel empty without them as they were here for the last few days." She let out a sigh.

I could feel what she must be going through. I used to feel the same when I had shifted here for the first time. I need to cheer her up.

"How will you feel empty? You forgot? We are leaving for our honeymoon the day after tomorrow." I winked at her then focused back on the road. I could see the red hue covering her face. I know now she won't think about all these for the time being.

"Manik...." She slapped my biceps and turned her face towards the window. "Where are we going?"

I smiled. "What about we go for site seeing? You are new here and from now onward you have to be here only. So, you should be familiar with this place."

I found her nodding her head with a charming smile covering her face. "I have heard a lot about this place. Finally I am gonna tour it. That's great."

"I hope you will like it. From where should we start?" I asked her for suggestions.

Nandini shrugged her shoulders. "You suggest. You know it better."

I thought for a while. "Let's start from the Gateway of India. It is called the Taj Mahal of Mumbai. I am sure you will like it but it will be a little crowded in the morning as people come to enjoy the fresh morning breeze."

Nandini smiled looking at me. "Whatever you say."

Then we talked about different things. She was asking about various things the whole way. I explained things to her calmly. Even though she doesn't need to do all this, I am going to leave her alone outside when she has gone out in public, though not properly. Still I can take risks with her.

"Finally, here we are." I said pulling out our car in an empty place.

Nandini looked around the place with wide eyes. "Manik, you can't go out in between them. They will recognize you. Your bodyguards are not here as well. What if something happens to you?" I heard her panicking.

Can I be honest? I was prepared for this kind of reaction only from her.

I held Nandini's hands in between mine. "Don't worry, sunshine. I have my ways. I am used to it."

"What will you do?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

I winked at her. Then pulled the cap of my hoodie over my head which hid most of my face. Then I wore my sunglasses and a mask. "See, it's done."

Nandini gave me an impressed look. "No one is gonna recognize you like this." A smile was there on her face.

"Now your hairs are open. That's perfect. But you also wear this mask. I can take risks with you also. Many of them must have seen your picture." I said handing over another mask to Nandini.

She took that without any argument and wore it. Then we got down from our car.

I went to Nandini's side and entwined my fingers with her. "Don't leave my side."

She nodded and we started walking towards the main monument. I saw her looking around and enjoying the breeze. Thankfully no one noticed us. I could admire her serene face as much as I wanted.

"Let's go. We also need to have our breakfast." I told Nandini. It's been around an hour since we are here and Nandini roamed around the place.

I saw her nodding her head.

We again drove back to a nearby restaurant.

"This place is famous for pancakes and you love them." It made her smile.

I opened the door for her and she got in. I was behind her. We took a corner seat and ordered our food.

"Where are you taking me next?" Nandini asked as we walked out of the restaurant after paying the bill.

I thought for a while trying to register where to go at this hour. Then it hit me. "We can go to the Red Carpet Wax Museum. You will have fun there."

"Cool." She didn't object and we drove off there.

I got tickets for us and went inside. I could see Nandini being astonished seeing the lifelike wax figures. I was there by her side. "Did you like it?" I asked in her ear.

She turned towards me and I could see her eyes were glittering. "They are so beautiful, Manik." She again went back to admire them. I smiled. "One day, your wax will be placed here as well."

I heard Nandini's whisper. She said the line with so much sincerity that I couldn't help believing her. I stared at her, amazed. She believes in me so much.

"Let's take your pictures with them." I said to her.

"We will take pictures together." Nandini said and pulled me with her.

After roaming the whole place, we got out of there.

"The place we are going next is your kind of place. I am sure you will love it." I said while driving.

Nandini looked at me being confused. "Where?"

"You will get to know when we will reach there."

She looked at me with a pout but didn't say anything. She again started looking outside. While I was taking glances of her from time to time as she was looking damn beautiful with her hairs flying due to the air.

Did I tell you Nandini doesn't like to be in ac much? That's why I had rolled down the window and now she can enjoy the fresh air.

After a drive of an hour, we reached our destination. It was past office time, so there wasn't much traffic else it's really difficult to move here.

"Come out, we have reached." I said while opening the door on Nandini's side.

She got down and held my hand before walking towards the gate. She read out the name and looked at me gleaming in joy.
