Her head was pounding, a buzzing sound ringing in her ears. In an attempt to shed the daze from her brain Lana blinked her eyes excessively, trying to focus her blurry vision. She got the urge to reach her hand up to massage her throbbing temples but as she went to follow through with the action, she realized her movement was constricted. Her heart began pulsating quickly; feeling as though it was about to jump out of her chest. Her eyes shot open in a state of emergency and panic. Where was she? how'd she get here? where was Wendy? As the fog looming around her brain cleared, fleeting images of what had happened to her came rushing back; a foreign black vehicle in her driveway, two muscular men in white suits, Wendy crying. Suddenly, a slight movement in her peripheral vision pulled her away from her thoughts; causing her to let out a whimper of fear. "Look who's finally awake" cooed an ever so familiar voice. Lana tensed up as she saw sister Jude appear from the corner of the room into her line of vision; she wore a smug grin on her face, which gave Lana an extensive feeling on unease. "In tha eyes of god ambition isn't a sin, but it is dangerous" Jude whispered as she sat down on the edge of Lana's bed. She smiled as she looked directly into the young woman's eyes "See where ambition got you" she muttered as she used her elongated pointer finger to brush aside a stray hair from Lana's face. The young woman whipped her head the other way, desperately trying to get away from the nun's touch. "You-you can't keep me here!" Lana hollered as tears began to well in her eyes.  Jude shrugged her shoulders as she stood from the bed, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of folded parchment. "Actually I can, and its all thanks to your darling little Wendy" Jude teased, knowing damn well it would get Lana riled up. Wendy, how does she know about Wendy? Lana pondered mentally. She turned the paper for Lana to read and low and behold there was Wendy's signature clear as day. The salty tears that once pooled in Lana's eyes broke free and gushed down her face excessively. As her vision blurred she let out a loud cry of desperation and started thrashing around like mad trying to break free of her constraints "no, no NO, NO!" She yelled. Jude leaned over her helpless body, making sure to look her dead in the eyes "You'll learn to never cross me" she uttered, sending a shiver down Lana's spine. "IM NOT INSANE, LET ME OUT!" Lana screamed as she watched Jude heading for the door; Jude looked back at her and smiled widely "Enjoy yar stay, Miss. Lana Banana" she said before leaving Lana in her dingy cell. Lana screamed and hollered as tears spilled freely down her cheeks, her limbs shook and tugged as she tried helplessly to break free of the leather bounding her to the bed; she didn't deserve to be in a place like this, but worst of all, being admitted by a woman whom she believed, up to this very moment, loved her with her whole being. There was no way Wendy would do this too her; Jude was the empress of mind games and surely her sweet Wendy had fallen victim to the astute nun, just like many before her. Lana had no physical fight left in her, after about two hours she had completely exhausted herself and laid forlorn on the thin damp mattress.  She had calmed down some and stopped trying to break free of her restraints. All she could think of now was how badly she wanted to make Jude suffer, she wanted her to pay for locking her up. Jude sat comfortably on a plush arm chair near the fire place in her office. She had removed her wimple letting her mane of voluminous golden locks drape casually around her face; today had turned out to be a good day indeed, she had gotten everything she wanted. Her revenge was being repaid in full and she was content. She had power, her title, her establishment, and nothing could bring her down now.
