A/N: Um, have you noticed that after every chapter of Emma and Ty, the next chapter I jump to Bridgette and Felix or Adrien and Marinette— or Lila? Those are dividers. Because if I did the Emma and Ty story only, it'll be boring and much shorter; to be talking about them all the time. Just letting ya know. Carry on.

The silence that the days brought were driving Nathaniel crazy. He had to much time to think; which sometimes is bad. But for Nathaniel it was good. It help him realize the mistakes he'd done. The loving wife he'd let go. And the son he'd mistreated. How could I have been so selfish?
Just with the memory of him making Ty break up with Emma, made him shivered of stupidity and selfishness. He sighed deeply, rolling to the other side of the bed. In which Lila used to sleep. Boy he missed her. Her warmth, her lips, her kisses and touches. He felt isolated; empty.
The clock marked 1:38 in morning. Sleeping wasn't going to happen any time soon. He stood up and went to the bathroom. He winced with the reflection of himself in her mirror. The eye in which Adrien punched —after he'd found out about Nathaniel pinning Marinette and kissing her— was still purple and black. Adrien had also happily fractured Nathaniel's jaw.
"Son of—..." Nathaniel trailed off. Inhaling sharply, closing his eyes to calmed down. I changed. Cursing won't take me anywhere. He thought, rubbing his temples. With the silence of the truth, and his isolation; he realized that he could still fight for Lila back. His deep, need for forgiveness will help to convinced Lila. At least, that's what he thought.
But what a lot of people don't realize is that, when you let go of that person, they move on and the expectations are that they'll wait for you, for you to change. And that's the most terrible mistake anyone could ever do. Hope in fallen love.

Nathaniel inhaled deeply, standing on front of Lila's apartment door. Showered, smelling like perfume and hiding a very expensive present; he felt confident about himself. She'll be leaving with me to our house tonight. He ranged the doorbell, growing uneasy and nervous. Playing with his wedding ring which he didn't took off after Lila left. And he hoped Lila haven't either.
The door revealed a brunette with the perfect curls. Her two sparkling light, green eyes left Nathaniel speechless. Her toned body dressed with some pair of pink fluffy shorts and a light blue shirt. Even at 2 am she looks gorgeous. Nathaniel snapped out his thoughts, clearing his throat. "Darling I came to apologize—"
"Nathaniel don't even—" Nathaniel quickly placed his finger one her lips; begging her for a little time to explain himself.
"I was begin stupid. Lila," he took her tiny hands onto his but she jerked them away. He continued yet not changing his expression of pain and sorrow. "I was blinded by a fallen love Lila. And I got all these time to realized that. The truth is that the perfect girl always stood just in front me." He confessed, pouring his heart in each words. Her expression soften but she didn't let him touch her or anything.
Lila thought her silence was enough to tell him who she felt. I can't believe him.
Nathaniel gave one step closer and she gave one back. "Please, honey come back with m—" but his voice was killed, instantly as a muscled, toned body stood behind Lila. When the smell of peppermint and beer tickled Lila's nose, her skin turned pale. Shit, he's gonna kill him!
He wrapped his arm around her waist gently, pressing her body against his own. His jaw tightened as well as his body tensed against Lila's. "Nathaniel isn't?" He hissed. His eyes darkened; clearly trying to not choke Nathaniel. But his gaze already did.
"Y—Yes, er, ... Lila who is this guy?" Nathaniel asked nervously. Yet he very well knew who it was. But his heart rejected to believe it was true. His best friend from high school, Josh. They had lost contact and friendship when Nathaniel married Lila. He knew Josh loved her with his life. More than he'll ever do. But he refused to lose the only thing that he'd left. Lila's love. Well at that time of course.
"Don't fool around Nathaniel." He growled, planting a kiss on Lila's temple. Pushing her carefully to walk to their room. Softly and carefully like she was the most delicate creature he'd ever touch.
"Wait on the bed, love." Josh suggested, smiling brightly as his light brown eyes watched her smile sheepishly, plant soft kisses on his cheeks and walk away. Then they turn darker as they came to look at Nathaniel.
"I have zero patience for you imbecile. I'm still hurt how you married the love of life when you fucking clearly know I love her. More that you did!" Josh shouted, pushing Nathaniel harshly out the door. His muscle were rigged in anger.
"And on top of that, years later. Thinking that you were taking good care of her, I found her sobbing heartbroken over her "husband" who left her on her own with a son! Because he was still crushing on a married chick." He barked. Gripping onto the knob so hard, he could snatched it out.
While Nathaniel sat on the carpeted-floor of the hallway, tearing up. His heart aching, trying to do something or speak but couldn't; everything was true. And it him like truck.
"I don't want you near her. She's mine. I'll kick your sorry ass if I find you near her. And same for Ty. I don't want you near my son or his girlfriend. Stay away jackass!" He thread him and slammed the door on his face.
Nathaniel ran. As far as his weak legs could take him. His vision was blurry because of the hot tears. All the thoughts and regrets stormed in inside his mind. Nathaniel didn't notice the pregnant lady walking. He bumped onto her. They both fell to the floor.
She groan loudly, sitting up. Gently stroking her swollen belly. Nathaniel quickly stood up and turn to the lady. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright? Is everything—"
"J-Juleka?"
"Nathaniel."
