"Ash! It's 6 am!"

"Right!" Ash replied.

It's now Saturday, Ash woke up and
slowly got off his bed. He took a shower and got ready. Ash went downstairs and Serena was already there.

"Good Morning Ash, Pikachu and Riolu."
Serena said.

"Good Morning, Sere!" Ash said.

"Morning Mom!"

"Morning honey, here is your breakfast," Delia said and she put the plates with eggs and bacon in front of Ash and Riolu. She also put a plate in front of Pikachu along with some ketchup on it as well because she knew Pikachu loved it. They quickly ate their breakfast.

As they were done, Ash looked at Serena.
"Are you ready for school?"

"Yep! Shall we go?"

"Of course!"

Ash walked out of his house and shouted to his mom "We are going Mom, see you later!"

"Bye Ash and Serena!"

"Mom! Bye!"

"Bye!"

After arriving at the school, they both walked together through the school gate and went over to their group of friends.

"Morning Ash and Serena!" Shauna said.

"Morning guys! ?" Ash & Serena said.

They talked for a bit and then Ash and Serena went over to their class.

They walked over to their class and there didn't happen much during Maths, when they had their Evolution class Ash and Serena worked together on their project.

During lunch break 

During a Lunch break, Ash went over to May.

"May, I need your help," Ash said.

"Sure! What is it?" May asked in curiosity.

Ash got slightly nervous and he said" You see… I have a date with Serena… and this is my first date."

"Okay, I got it. You need my help,"

Ash nodded.

"I'll meet you after school ends, ok?"

"Sure Ash." May nodded.

Ash and May talked a bit then went back to the cafeteria to their friends.

Fifth and Sixth lessons went by quickly and it's the end of the school.

As they walked out of the school gate Ash told Serena that he had to do something. That's why he won't be coming with her.

Serena agreed, "See you later."

"Bye," Ash said.

After school, Ash met up with May outside the Pokemon Centre.

"Hi, Ash and Pikachu"

"Hi, May."

"Pika!"

"Sorry about the wait." 

"It's okay, we just arrived here."

"Pika!"

"So, Ash do you have a place for

the date in mind?" May asked.

"Yeah about that…"

"I will help you with that," May said.

"Really!"

"Yup, you and Serena are my best friend.
And I know just the place."

"That's awesome!" Ash exclaimed.

"Let's go!" May shouted.

"It's the Lumoise Restaurant! They serve the best foods." May exclaimed.
                           
After 15 minutes

As they made the reservation at the restaurant they walked outside.

"Alright, that's done," May shouted.

"Yeah." I sigh in relief.

"Hey, how about some food?" May suggests. "I am hungry."

As it was right on cue, Ash's stomach began to growl which made her laugh. 

Ash was embarrassed and scratched the back of his head. "I think that's a great idea.

They went to a small restaurant and ordered pancakes.

Then they sat down at a table close to a window and they started to talk about their journey.

It wasn't long before the waiter delivered their food and they thanked him for it.

"You know Ash…" May started. "I still can't believe that you break out of your dense shell. You used to be dense when we were travelling together."

"Yeah, I guess... I was dense back there." Ash said then remembered something.
"May, How's Max doing?"

"Actually he's on a journey now to
compete in the Hoenn League!" May answered.

"Pika!"

"Really? Which Pokemon did he start off
with?"

"What do you think Ash? You're his idol so there is only one option."

"Let me guess..." Ash thinks for a moment before replying. "Is it Treecko?"

"Bingo! He also got that Mightyena from the Pokemon preserve and that Ralts he befriended on our journey. Also, he now has two badges I believe, The Stone and the Knuckle Badge."

"That's awesome! Then he must have beaten Roxanne and Brawlev!"

"Right!" May nodded. "You still have a promise you need to fulfil remember?"

"Of course. I remember. I promised Max when he becomes a trainer, I would battle him and that's just what I'm gonna do when I see him!" Ash said.

Then they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.

Ash gazes at the sky, the sun is already dipping behind the horizon, but the daylight still lingers in the air.

"It took more time than I  had expected."

They arrived at Vaniville Town.

Ash enters the house and he greets his mom and Serena.

Serena looks towards Ash and a bright smile appears on her face.

She quickly ran to him.

"I missed you."

"What are you talking about?" Ash asked. "We met after school, remember."

"I know," Serena sweatdropped. "When we got home, I decided to make some Pokepuffs and Macarons," Serena said as she grabbed the basket from the kitchen and gave it to Ash.

Ash took a peek inside the basket and
stars appeared in his eyes. This made Serena happy, seeing Ash liked her
Macarons and Pokepuffs.

"For you Ash! You can give them to your Pokemon!"

"Thank you! Sere!"

"Pika!"

Pikachu jumped on the table asking for one.

"Here," Serena gave one Pokepuff to Pikachu who happily took it and started eating.

Ash walked up the stairs. When he was on the 2nd floor of the house, he put the bag in his room and walked outside then met up with Dawn.

"Hi, Dawn."

"Hi, Ash."

"So, You are taking Serena on a date tomorrow."

"Yup."

"I still can't believe it. You used to be dense back then."

Ash agreed, "May told me the same thing."

"Ashy-boy, It's not fair that you got a girlfriend before me," Gary complained

"Gary, she is not my girlfriend," Ash said.

"Whatever you say. But now I need to find a girlfriend too." Gary said in a sad tone.

"Okay… Good luck Gary." Gary looked at Ash 

"Thanks, Ash," Gary said and walked downstairs.

"Is he okay?"

"Don't worry about him," Dawn said.
"Now he has gone. Tell me, where are you taking Serena on a date?"

Ash told Dawn where they were going on a date.

"Kids! Dinner is ready!" Delia shouts from downstairs interrupting their conversation.

"Yes, Mom, I am coming!" Ash shouted and he and Dawn walked downstairs.

Ash, Pikachu, Riolu and Dawn went to the kitchen and sat down at the dining table. Delia had made the salad with bread, and soup. Not long after Gary sat down as well and they began to eat.

When they finished their dinner, Ash and Serena went upstairs and Ash was about to walk to his room but stopped by Serena because she had something to ask.

"Ash?"

"Hmm?"

"You said you had a special place in mind for our date, will you tell me where you want us to go?" Serena asked.

"Nope!"

"What!? Why not?"

"It's a secret! I really want to surprise you!' Ash said as he gave Serena a warm smile which made her blush a little bit.

Serena didn't like that answer but she felt happy Ash put so much effort into their date.

"Alright..." Serena smiled. "Just be on time for our date tomorrow ok?"

"Sure!"

Serena and Ash smiled at each other.

Serena POV

I couldn't contain my excitement.

"I am going out on a date with the love of my life,"

Serena gave Ash a quick hug, catching him by surprise but he liked it. When they broke the hug, they said goodnight to each other and walked back to their room.

Delia heard their conversation and a smile appeared on her face.

Delia POV

"My Ash growing up so fast. I am wondering where the old Ash is gone, who always thinks about the Pokemon and Pokemon battle.

I wish that they will stay together forever." I smiled.
