2 Days Later

Atami POV

Sasuke and I were heading to meet Kakashi and the other two idiots for a mission. I've gotten better and feel great, so I got released from the hospital this morning. I hated being cooped up, not being able to do anything but sleep.

I tried escaping a few times but Sasuke caught me, then my next attempt I made it to the front doors but Kakashi caught me.*sigh* After those attempts I gave up. What a bummer.. Anyway I wonder what lame mission we have..

"Sakura here at point C"

"Hn...point A"

"Believe it! Point B"

"Gosh Naruto, stop yelling in the mic" Sakura says

"Mi-chan?"

"..."

"Atami?" calls Kakashi.

"Great" Sasuke mumbles

"Where is she?"

"Oh hey guys!"

"AHHHH!!" all of them scream and jump.

"Mi-chan what the- Hey! How'd you get the cat?" Naruto asks.

"Easy. I walked up to it and it jumped in my arms." I smile while they sweatdrop.

"Okay the mission 'Capture Tora' is accomplished" Kakashi says weirdly

"Yes!, hn, BELIEVE IT!!"

"NARUTO!!"

"Hehe sorry"

At the Hokage's Office

The Hokage was giving us another mission... great.

"Babysitting, grocery shop for an old lady, oh or even-" he got cut off by Naruto.

"NO NO NO!" Naruto shouts putting his arms in an 'X' shape.

"I want a real mission! Not these lame boring ones." I nod in agreement and I could tell Sasuke agreed as well. Then Kakashi and Iruka-sensei started explaining why we get D ranked mission. I didn't really pay attention since I already knew this and it was boring.

"Ok so I had pork ramen last night for dinner and chicken for breakfast so I think I should have miso ramen for lunch. Yeah that sounds-"

"LISTEN!" the Hokage shouts at us cause we were too busy listening to Naruto decide what to have for lunch. Kakashi mumbles something and scratches his head.

"Fine you can get a C ranked mission." the Hokage confesses. I smirk along with Sasuke.

"Cool. Is it a princess, oh no or a feudal lord or-" *BONK* I hit Naruto on the head shutting him up so I could hear what the Hokage was saying.

"Ow!" he cries in pain and I roll my eyes.

"Be patient Naruto. Bring him in" he says and in came in a drunk old man. My smirk turned into a frown. He stunk like old liquor and he could barely stand.

"What! You give me brats. Especially the short one with the idiotic look on his face and the girl that looks like she has a bad manners... I take that back. She looks kinda cute" the drunky said looking at me.

I was livid! How dare this old creep tell me I have no manners and then tell me I'm cute! Pervert! I charge at him and was an inch from tearing him from limb to limb until Sasuke grabs my collar.

"Get...Off..Me!" I growl

"No" he says annoyed with me. I put a little extra chakra in my feet and run again. This time I knock him over and is so close to punching him but Kakashi and Sasuke had grab a hold of my arms and pull me away.

"Let..GO!" I shout angry

"Atami we do not kill our clients" Kakashi tells me casually.

"No..but I can change that" I growl struggling to get free. Sasuke bent down to whisper in my ear.

"If you dont calm down I will knock you out and tell everyone that you sleep with a teddy bear." I freeze.

"You wouldnt"

"Try me" he says smirking. I gave up and glare at him. When I get up drunky looks scared of me and everyone one else wondered what just happened.

"My name is Tazuna and I'm a bridge builder from the Land of Waves. You guys will protect me with your life." he says trying to sound brave, I scoff and roll my eyes.

"Okay now that everyone is settled your mission will be in one hour. Dismissed" the Third says.

I stomp right out leaving everyone behind.

"She's a feisty one" I hear Tazuna say. I clench my fist and kept moving. Eww that bastard! This is not going to go so well...

At Home

Atami POV

When I get home I take a shower and get ready. I pack a lot of kunai's, bandages, shuriken, and other medical stuff. I made sure I have my butterfly pendant on that I got from my mom when I turned five that means graceful. I also have a diamond cross I got from my father surprisingly, which means loyal. I never told anybody about the necklace except Itachi and Sasuke. They stay tucked in my shirt hidden.. I don't know why I keep it a secret, I just feel it should be. I hardly ever take them off.

By the time I was done packing it was already 2pm. Man I cant wait-

"Atami, lets go!" I hear Sasuke call.

"Coming!" I run downstairs and slip on my shoes and left with Sasuke.

At the Gates

Me and Sasuke were the first ones there as usual. -.- I am so excited, I actually get to leave the village!

"What's with you" Sasuke asks me.

"Oh. Just excited"

"Hn"

"Don't you know any other words?" I ask sarcastically.

"Dont act like you dont say either"

"Well not as much as you do"

"Hn"

"Ugh. There it is again." He smirks. He can be annoying

"Hey Sasuke-kun" Sakura says walking our way...With ORANGE HAIR!!! OMGG!!!

"Sakura!! Y-your hair!" I shout shocked she actually dyed it.

"Do you guys like it?" she asks blushing. Hahahaha! I can't believe it!...although she doesnt look half bad..

"Hn" Sasuke says ignoring her

"Actually it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.." I tell her and she raises her eyebrow at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh Sakura..I lied about Sasuke liking girls with orange hair..although I'm not sure about the revealing part.." I confess. She looks at me shocked.

"B-but..This is permanent!!" She shouts at me now angry. I just hunch my shoulders at her.

"UGH!..Well as long as my Sasuke-kun likes it, I don't care" she states... I swear all she ever thinks about is Sasuke. Sasuke this..Sasuke that... I don't know how he stands up with her.

"So are you excited Sasuke?" She asks him completely ignoring how I lied to her...He ignored her.

"As if" I say and he glares me.

"Atami leave him alone" Sakura says sticking up for my brother.

"He's my brother. I can talk about him if I want to" I say getting agitated. Its not like there in a relationship or thats her brother. No he's mine!...Okay I sounded like a fangirl. I shudder.

"No you can't" she argues back

"Yes I Can"

"Nu-uh"

"Uh-huh"

"Will you two shut up" Sasuke says cutting into our argument.

"Whatever. But leave him be. Can't you see he isn't interested in a loser like you. Even now with your orange hair" I say and she glares at me and walks away. Hn! Glad that's over. Who does she think she is?

After that Naruto came ten minutes later,then Tazuna and Kakashi came five minutes after him.

"Sakura..your hair!" They all shout

"Do you guys like it?" Naruto starts drooling at her with hearts in his eyes...eww

"Uhh..Yeah Sakura its..nice" Kakashi says still shocked

"I love it!" Naruto shouts *sigh* I roll my eyes at them.

"What made you dye it?" Tazuna asks her..I slowly started to back away from them and behind Sasuke.

"Atami gave me the idea" Sakura growled..Everyone except Sasuke looked confused and started to look for me.. Sasuke then side stepped making me in view of them...I started sweating and played with my hair..

"Atami what did you do?" Kakashi asks me sternly already knowing my hate for her.

"Uhh..I-I just gave her some...Friendly advice!..Yeah advice." I tell him obviously lying. He just stares at me with a hard gaze until he smiles at me? Okay? He turns back to the others and pulls out his book.

"You guys ready to go?" He asks us..

"Hn/believe it!"

"Sure" mumbled me and Sakura. Everybody sweat dropped except Sasuke from our mood killer attitude. I was mad, Sasuke basically ratted me out.. Hmph.. Naruto was hyper cause this is also his first time leaving the village. We then set out.

In the Forest

Wow! This is so great. Its so beautiful, the trees, green grass, the nature smell. I was enjoying this. As I was looking around I saw a puddle? Wait it hasn't rained in days. I wonder?... I nudge Sasuke and he looks at me and nods. So he saw it too?

"I'm going to tell Kakashi" I say and start slowing my pace to fall into step with Kakashi since he was in the back.

"Did you see that puddle?"

"Yeah. I'll handle it, be alert okay?"

"Right" I nod and walk back up to Sasuke. Now we wait.

After the Attack

"Kakashi-sensei! Your alright!" Sakura shouts.

"Nah dip" I mumble sarcastically. She glares at me. I knew Kakashi wouldn't die on us.

"Good job Sasuke and Atami. You to Sakura...Naruto If I would've known you would have froze I...." Kakashi didn't finish. He felt guilty for injuring Naruto. Its okay sensei.

As Kakashi was talking to Tazuna about the two chunin that attacked us, Naruto thought it would be cool and stab himself with a kunai. Now he's running around like a maniac because our stupid sensei decided to joke around and tell him he was going to bleed to death. Great going Kakashi..

"Naruto calm down and come here." I say. He followed and I was going to clean his cut but it was healing itself. I stare wide eyes at it until it wasnt there anymore. No scar or nothing, it looked like nothing even happened.

"What!" Naruto shouts at me worried. I just shake my head and wrap it like there was a cut.

"There all done". He got up and started twisting his wrist to see if it hurt.

"Wow! Thanks Mi-chan!" he says hugging me. I nod not liking the contact at the moment. He catches on and lets go.

"Hey are you okay..Scaredy cat?" Sasuke teases Naruto.

"If you dont shut up, I'll turn you into a cat" I tell him angry.

"Hn" I roll my eyes at him. Always a competition.
