Kacchan tried to refrain from cursing to much in Deku's presence, seeing as he was now just an innocent child, not his rival. Izuku nodded, bouncing right behind him and grabbed his hand. He froze at the touch but instantly snapped out of it. If anything he didn't want to appear weak in front of the class.

No, he had to sustain the image he created for himself, no matter what.

The child hopped happily across the stone pathway along Kacchan, holding his hand tightly. Smiling up at him, not believing how strong Katsuki has gotten. I mean, yeah, he's always been strong! But getting into UA? It was their dream! Now they can accomplish their goal of being the Wonder Duo together! The symboles of peace and victory! Deku smiled widely at the thought, already fantasizing about what it would be like.

"You seem afwully happy for someone who doesn't remember most of his life" Kacchan stated.
"I'm just happy that I know we'll be hero's together! Just like we always wanted!" he exclaimed happily. Kacchan smiled a little as well, quickly shaking his head. Memories of his childhood flooded into his mind and he was unable to control his thoughts any longer.

He felt guilt build up in the pit of his stomach, remembering how he bullied and tormented his previous best friend just because he didn't have a stupid quirk. Yet he had, an amazing one, a quirk to be jealous about. All Might's quirk... One For All. A secret passed on from generation to generation.

Kacchan sighed, looking down on the small brocoli that used to be his world. 'If only he knew' the blond thought. 'If only he knew how I truly felt that day...'. He shook his head again, ignoring the invasive thoughts and combined feelings. He quickened his pace, dragging Deku along.

"Not so fast!" the smaller boy yelled, almost stumbling over his own feet.
"Right... Sorry" the older one muttered, avoiding eye contact by looking straight ahead. They were almost there anyway... He sighed, trying his hardest to forget the time he and Deku spend together when they were children. So many mixed feelings came to the surface when he thought back to that one particular day...

"Everything okay Kacchan?" Deku asked, looking up at his friend with curious big eyes. He blinked a few times, nodding, not looking down at the boy. How did he not notice he suddenly stopped?
"We're here anyway" he grunted, pulling the kid inside the partially collapsed building. Bakugou lead him up the stairs and to his old room, a room he didn't even remember. It was stuffed with All Might merch, typical...

Kacchan rolled his eyes as Deku ran inside, marvelling over all his action figures. He jumped on the bed and grabbed an All Might stuffie.
"I always sleep with this one!"
"Apparently you still do" Bakugou snorted, walking over to Midoriya's desk. His newest notebook laid exposed on top of the dark wood. Ironicly enough, it was about Kacchan's quirk and how his costume supported it. It brought a smile to his face, making him quickly shut it.

After that he opened the drawer, pulling out all his other notebooks. He grabbed Deku's bag and stuffen them into it.
"Anything else you want to take with you? We're not coming back for a while"
"This!" he smiled, holding up the All Might stuffie.
"Alright..." Kacchan chuckled, putting it in the bag.
"Now, the faster we get back, the better"

"Don't you want to take stuff from you room?" Midoriya asked, holding hands as they started walking again.
"It was destroyed in the fight. Besides, it'll be dangerous to try and retrieve anything from the rubble right now. I'll just have to wait to see what survived"
"Oh..." Deku whispered as they walked down the stairs together.

"Yo Bakubro! Done already?" Kirishima grinned as he waved at them from the bottom of the stairs.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Katsuki asked.
"We came with some others from the class to retrieve all the stuff we can, you know, since we'll be switching dorms for a while. Did you get Midoriya's notebooks?"
"Right here" Kacchan sighed, gesturing at the bag.
"Come on nerd, let's get you settled in next door"

"You're surprisingly calm for someone who's stuck with babysitting duty" Kaminari snorted, making the blond glare at him.
"Shut the fuck up! Do you think I wanted to be responsible for this walking broccoli?! Or getting paired up with that fucked up brainwasher as a roommate?!"
"Temporary roommate" Todoroki added on a neutral voice from the background. He was ignored however when Kacchan tried to strangle the Pikachu.

"Kacchan! No!" Deku yelled, pulling at the fabric of his pants. A futile attempt, really...
"No violence in front of little Midoriya!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed, pulling them apart by their ears. They both hissed and appologized instantly as she let go. She hummed and walked over to Todoroki to help him instead.

"That girl scares the crap out of me" Kaminari whispered, rubbing his ear.
"Tch, I can take her" Bakugou muttered, trying to act like it didn't hurt.

"Kacchan? C-can we go now?" Deku asked quietly, still holding onto the fabric of his pants. He quickly turned around to look at the smaller boy, who seemed uneasy surrounded by people he didn't know. Hmm, he didn't have any problems earlier... Maybe he was just to fascinated in that moment? Kacchan nodded, taking his hand and pulling him along.

"I'll have to warn you Deku, class 1-A isn't exactly buddy buddy with 1-B or the general studies"
"Why is that?" he asked confused.
"I insulted them" Bakugou shrugged.
"They're the people who didn't make it into the hero course and they might be holding a bit of a grudge, constantly trying to prove they're better than us and stuff"

He said it like it was no big deal but deep down Midoriya could feel he was seriously dreading walking into their dormitory. And if Kacchan is serious, he will to.
"So they're like our rivals?" Deku asked, making Kacchan flinch a little. Rivals... More like frenemies after All Might had enlightened him about One For All... But this wasn't between him and his childhood friend. It was between hero course and general studies.

He sighed, pushing the door open and entering the dormitory. It looked a lot like theirs, same lay-out, same furniture... Not surprising since UA build them all the same.
"You're the first one here" Tetsutetsu stated from the couch. He was the only one in sight, making Deku pout. He wanted to see these people before suddenly encountering them out of the blue.

"Where is everyone?" Kacchan asked.
"Preparing their rooms, avoiding you" he smirked.
"I'm waiting for Kirishima, just so you know"
'Argh, right, they're friends...' Katsuki thought, frowning.
"Well, where the hell is that brainwasher at? Apparently we share a room"

Tetsu didn't answer the question as his eyes fell onto the small child. Midoriya hided behind Bakugou instinctively. He's always been a very shy child... Only blossoming when he saw a hero to fanboy over.
"Is that-?"
"He was affected, yes. Better deal with it since he isn't leaving anytime soon" he stated.

"School grounds are closed, I know" Tetsu sighed, glancing at Midoriya.
"Shinsou's room is on the second floor, third door to the right"
"Thank you mister!" Deku smiled as Kacchan pulled him along with a grunt.
"Anytime kid!"

Soon Midoriya was pulled behind the metal doors of the elevator, once again alone with Kacchan.
"You're nervous around new people, aren't you?" he asked, chuckling, looking down upon the smaller boy.
"You really haven't changed a bit"
Deku blushed a little, shrieking up when the doors opened with a loud ding. Bakugou laughed, dragging the kid behind him.

"W-what do you mean with that? You know I'm shy around new people..." Deku whispered.
"Hmm, yeah, almost forgot about that now that you're so popular..." Kacchan muttered, making Deku's eyes widen in shock. He was popular?! He? The nerd and shy kid? The quirkless nobody? No, he wasn't quirkless... Not anymore. He smiled, trying to walk in a more confident manner. This made Bakugou chuckle and roll his eyes as he stopped in front of Shinsou's room.

He sighed before knocking on the door.
"Yo! Imsomniac! It's me! Open the fuck up!"
A few moments later Mr sunshine himself opened up, his face neutral, dark bags potent under his eyes. He glared at the spikey blond, opening his door further against his better judgement.

His eyes soon fell upon the smaller boy, however, and a small smile crept on his face.
"Don't get any funny ideas, brainiac" Bakugou hissed, pulling the younger Midoriya along as he entered the room.
"I heard he was involved in the attack but I hadn't seen the result yet" he stated, closing the door behind them.

"Do you know who he sleeps with? Mr Aizawa shoved all responsibilty to me so I have to look after this squirt"
"Yeah, one of the girls I believe... No need to worry, they'll treat him well"
It wasn't that strange Deku would be paired with a girl. One, he's a kid, it isn't weird or anything. Second, there are more girls in general studied than 1-A, so there would be other mixed sex couples out there.

Kacchan hummed, seeing a small matrass on the ground next to Shinsou's bed.
"Well, I take it my uniform already arrived?"
"It did. That yours?"
He eyes the bag, making Kacchan shake his head.
"Deku's. My room didn't survive"
"Oh... I'm sorry about that"
"Tch, whatever"

Kacchan glanced down at Deku, who was partially hiding behind him.
"Alright, now that I know where that eraserjerk put me-" he sighed, picking up Midoriya.
"-let's get you settled in alright? The sooner you can catch up on your notebooks, the sooner you'll feel comfortable around everyone again. Cause this whole scardy cat thing is getting old real fast"

"Okay Kacchan!" Deku smiled, hugging the older one as they started walking. Shinsou snapped a picture of the two while leaving the room but Bakugou didn't notice. Only Midoriya did, who was smiling and waving at the sleep deprived teen. Shinsou grinned at the picture. Would be a shame if the whole school discovered Katsuki Bakugou had a weak spot for Izuku...

Kacchan had left Deku with the girl he was assigned to and vanished from sight after that. The girl had been nice, but Izuku still didn't really feel comfortable around her. He'd been reading and going through all his notes on heroes and people from his class and his school. It was pretty amazing what they all could do...

Of course he knew about Kacchan's quirk but the others were sometimes even more amazing. Like that weird looking guy with the red and white hair? He's the son of Endavour! Endavour, the number 2 best super hero! Deku couldn't believe his eyes when he read that. And apparently his two best friends were Uraraka and Iidia, two people he'd met before when he entered the medical ward with Kirishima.

Izuku was so consumed in his notes, he totally forgot dinner. The girl brought him a plate though, so he did eat, but he didn't leave the room. When the clock hit nine, he was half asleep over his notebooks and the girl had told him to go to bed, which he did as the good boy he was.

Unfortunately he was tortured by nightmares, making him tremble as he woke up with tears in his eyes. He grabbed his All Might stuffie and held it close to his chest. Normally he would go to his mommy, but she wasn't here right now. And he didn't know the girl very well, he'd already forgotten her name.

Which room was Kacchan's again..?

He slowly got up, quietly tip toeing through the dark hallways. He was scared, yes, tears streaming from his eyes. He shrieked up at every noise he heard and walked closely to the walls. Carefully, he opened the door to Kacchan's room and peeked inside to make sure it was the right one.

The blond groaned, blinking with his eyes as he got up to face me. His hands were instanlty clenched to fists and Deku noticed he was on high alert. His body seemed to relax, however, at the sight of the small child in front of him. Izuku closed the door and quickly ran to his best friend, hugging him tightly as he cried.

Kacchan froze up, not expecting this sudden turn in events. He glanced at Shinsou to see if he was awake but he was fast asleep. Apparently he had this new sleeping pills that worked like a miracle and he'd been sleeping through basically everything for the past three days.

"Hey, ssh, calm down. What's wrong?" Katsuki asked on a calm tone, rubbing Midoriya's back.
"I-I had a n-nightmare" the kid sobbed.
"I-I couldn't sleep a-anymore"
After that he looked up at Kacchan with big begging puppy eyes filled with tears.
"C-can I please stay with you?"

Bakugou hated to admit it but his heart melted at the sight. How could he ever say no to that face? He sighed, making place for Midoriya by his side. He lifted the blanket, inviting him in. Deku didn't hesitate for a second before crawling close to Kacchan, hugging All Might as he snuggled closer to his best friend.

Bakugou smiled a little, draping an arm over the small child to hold him into place against his chest.
"I'll protect you Deku, always" he whispered, ruffling his hair.
"Now close your eyes and try to get some rest okay?"
"Okay"

"Good morning everyone!" Uraraka exclaimed while stretching her arms out.
"Geez, what happened in here?!"

The kitchen was an absolute mess and right now Mina and Momo were fighting with Denki stuck in the middle while Kirishima tried to hide away in a corner somewhere. Todoroki simply sat at a table, eating cereal with a slightly amused face as he watched the drama unfold. Meanwhile Iidia was frankly apologizing to some people from 1-B for trashing their kitchen. It was quite a sight to behold...

"Someone mind telling me what is going on here?!" Uraraka yelled, drawing all eyes on her.
"Guys! What did you do to the kitchen?! We're guest here remember?!"
"We tried to make something nice for breakfast for everyone!" Kaminari stated, his smile faltering.
"It didn't work out so well..."
"We can see that you idiot!" Yaoyorozu shouted.

"I can't believe your manners! What will they think of us now huh?"
"I think that's probably the least of our worries" Ashido snickered. Before Momo could shout again, Todoroki interrupted.
"She does have a point. It's not like they liked us before" he stated, taking another bite from his breakfast.

"Say, where is Midoriya? Isn't he normally awake at this hour?"
"Yeah, he should be..." Ochako muttered, looking around the room. No sign of her best friend and secret crush anywhere...

"Hey! You're the one that shares a room with Deku, right?" Ochako asked, pulling a girl apart.
"So you must know where he is, right?"
"What? Oh uh the kid? I don't know, he was gone when I woke up this morning. I thought he'd gone to the bathroom or something"
"Wait, you've been here for almost an hour" one of her friends said.

Suddenly silence fell in the room. They lost Izuku Midoriya... Trouble child number one, mister breaking bones.
"Aizawa sensei will kill us if we lose him!" Mina freaked out. Everybody started shouting through each other, creating an incomprehensible loud mess of sounds in the air.
