"It's been almost three months now," Seonghwa says to Hongjoong as he stares out the window, "Three months since they've made their threat."

"We can't let our guards down," Hongjoong tells the older, gathering the necessary supplies they will need for their run to town. He looks to Seonghwa, "I'm leaving Mingi and Jongho here to watch over you and Wooyoung and the baby. I'm taking the three Betas to town for more supplies."

Seonghwa nods, cupping his mate's face and kissing him softly, "Please be careful."

"I will," Hongjoong closes his eyes, his hands coming to cup Seonghwa's belly and feeling the twins move and kick, "They're more active now."

"It's getting closer for them to be here," Seonghwa whispers, "They say twin pregnancies are shorter than the normal pregnancies. About thirty-eight weeks, and I'm only thirty-seven."

"Just keep calm, and leave the worrying to me," Hongjoong reminds him, "Try to keep them in as long as you can love."

"Ready Hongjoong?" Yunho pops his head in their bedroom, smiling softly when he sees the tender moment of his alpha and Luna interacting.

Hongjoong grunt, kissing Seonghwa once more before leaving the room. Seonghwa takes in a deep breath before waddling to his bed and laying down gently. He's been put on bed rest since pregnancies with twins are more stressful on an Omega's body, so until the babies get here he isn't allowed to be move much and is ordered to stay in bed at all times.

He closes his eyes, maybe he will drift to sleep here soon.

Hongjoong stops at the door and lets everyone say their farewells for now, and once the Betas were ready they all run out the door and to the woods. Jongho sighs, feeling them all shift through the pack bond. He looks to Wooyoung, the boy burping Jisung and he couldn't help but smile.

"Welp, Jongho you watch Wooyoung I'll go up and watch Seonghwa," Mingi confirms, turning his back and heading up the stairs. He hears his six month old baby girl squeal behind him and he turns to see her smile brightly at Wooyoung, her smile lighting up her whole face.

Mingi chuckles, heading up the stairs, only to pass by Wooyoung and Jongho's room and getting hit in the head. He passes out instantly, falling to the floor with a loud thud and the couple downstairs hear it loud and clear. Jongho tenses, eyes locked on the stairs, "Mingi?" He calls.

Seonghwa jerks awake to hear the thud and tries to sit up. He growls when he can't and lays there, "Is everyone okay?"

He hears the bedroom door open and frowns, looking over his shoulder and gasping. Only for a cloth to be put over his mouth as he fights. His fighting slows down though, and soon he's feeling heavy as he drops his arms. His eyelids close, the last image he sees is Baekhyun smirking down at him.

No one got an answer back from the giant who fell. Jongho growls, standing slowly and walking to the staircase. He didn't see anyone up there, but he didn't feel right at all. He looks back at Wooyoung, who stood with Jisung in his arms now trembling, "Hide," he mouths to the Omega.

Wooyoung nods, moving quietly through the house and hiding in the utility closet in their kitchen. He calms his breathing down, trying not to pant and breath too quickly to give away his position. Jisung looks at the door and whines, making grabby hands for it only for Wooyoung to shush her quietly.

Jongho's eyes flash red as he backs towards where he seen Wooyoung disappear to. He needed to protect Wooyoung, that was his job. Protect him, protect Jisung-

"Well well we'll," a deep voice spoke loudly behind him. Jongho snarls, turning back to bare his teeth at the tall man. He chuckles, sweeping his dirty blonde hair to the side and his green eyes flash teasingly, "You must be Wooyoung's mate."

"What's it to you fucker?" Jongho snarls, his wolf snarls inside of his head and he's having to really hold back the monster he's been trying to contain. He didn't know this man however, and he was trespassing on their territory and the mention of Wooyoung's name coming out of his mouth made Jongho want to rip his tongue out.

The man once more chuckles, stepping closer to Jongho and for once, the young alpha felt intimidated. But there is no way in hell he was going to show that to this man right now. He gets too close for Jongho's liking and now Jongho is grunting in pain from trying to hold back his wolf, "The name is Kai," the man snarls, his own bright red eyes flash as he stares down into the younger Alpha's eyes, "And I'll be taking back what belongs to me."

Jongho growls, "Over my dead body mutt."

Kai chuckles evilly again, his eyes now black as he snarls, "As you wish."

The two alphas shift instantly and lunge at one another, destroying everything in their path to draw blood. Kai swipes at Jongho's face, scratching his muzzle and making the younger alpha howl before he snarls and lunges at Kai. The older wolf was smarter, and had fought many many battles unlike Jongho. Sure, Jongho was strong and he is giving everything he has right now, but this man he was fighting to keep away from Wooyoung was using all of his strength and Jongho didn't know if he could match it.

Kai finds a good weak point, and attaches his jaws on Jongho's leg, throwing him to the side like a rag doll. The red and brown wolf whimpers, trying to stand on the now bleeding leg but winces and falls to the ground. Kai's intimidating black wolf makes a noise as if he's laughing at the young alpha, and lunges once more. He locks his jaw on Jongho's throat and squeezes. Jongho whimpers pawing and clawing at Kai and using every ounce of strength he has to try and push the bigger alpha off of him.

"KAI!" A high pitched voice yells and Kai looks to the source.

Wooyoung stood there, holding his screaming baby and tears in his eyes as he sobs, "Please let him go!! It's me you want!! Take me, don't hurt him!!"

Kai growls, clenching his jaw once more on Jongho's neck before dropping the alpha. Jongho whines and whimpers, not moving on the ground as he looks over at Wooyoung, "Baby..."

"I'm sorry," Wooyoung whispers to him, sobbing, "I can't watch him hurt you."

Kai shifts and stood tall and proud as he walks over to Wooyoung. Wooyoung swallows and shivers in the presence of the alpha, looking away as Kai brings a soft hand down to caress his cheek, "Did you miss me my sweet?"

Wooyoung clenches his jaw, closing his eyes to hide his lie and sheds more tears, "More than ever Alpha."

Kai hums in satisfaction, gripping his chin and growling, "Look at me."

Wooyoung opens his eyes, Kai could see the fear in them and smirks. He loved seeing the fear and pain in this pathetic Omega's eyes. He wanted to keep seeing it for the rest of his life. He suddenly realizes there's a crying baby in Wooyoung's arms and he growls, "Who's child is this?"

"She's one of the Betas' daughter," Wooyoung lies easily and his heart breaks at the thought of leaving his baby behind. He hopes and prays Kai sees right through his lie, "I was just caring for her while they went hunting."

Kai growls once more, Jisung cries harder and screams when he looks down at her, "Leave her."

"Yes, Alpha," Wooyoung whimpers, Kai gripping his neck as he leads the Omega to the living room. He purposely made him step over Jongho's body, the alpha whines as Wooyoung sobs when he walks over him. Once they were in the living room, Kai jerks Wooyoung forward to the couch. Wooyoung sets Jisung in her bassinet, the baby hasn't once stopped crying because of the tension in the air and now the fact her mommy was sitting her down when she was scared.

Wooyoung sniffles, wiping his eyes as he smiles at her, "Hey baby girl," he whispers, remembering his lie to keep her safe, "It's okay, mommy will be back shortly and he will protect you. I promise."

Kai snarls, "We don't have all fucking day," he draws a foot back and kicks Wooyoung in the hip. The Omega screams, holding his hip as he falls on his hands and knees. Kai growls, "Get up!!"

"Kai!" A deeper voice calls from the hallway and the Alpha turns to see Baekhyun standing there carrying the other Omega who is heavily pregnant and knocked out bridal style, "We need to go!"

Kai growls, picking Wooyoung up and throwing him over his shoulder. Wooyoung tried to fight, kicking and thrashing to get out of Kai's arms as he screams. He knows he has sent warning after warning to Hongjoong already, so he knows the alpha must be on his way back, but he can't help but scream louder in hopes they hear him and follow his cries.

Kai takes the rag soaked in chloroform, and moves to face Wooyoung, stuffing it over his mouth and nose as the Omega thrashes. His fighting stops completely in a matter of five seconds and he falls limp to the ground. Baekhyun rolls his eyes, "You've had your fun, now get to moving."

Kai chuckles, picking Wooyoung up once more. The Omega was fading out of consciousness as they head towards the woods, Jisung's cries ringing in his ears and soon he hears nor sees nothing.
