The same pack where Yunho is from, Mingi is from as well.

Much like Yunho, he leaves to go travel and adventure around the world and try to find a territory or another pack to find his mate. Unlike Yunho, he passes through these territories by wolf form, occasionally running into a head alpha from a pack or getting chased by a rogue.

But the happy and playful alpha kept on trucking.

He eventually hits the Korean border after a week, entering China and seeing many opportunities to get a territory of his own or entering a pack. He eventually stops for a drink at a small lake, knowing the territory is taken and hoping the Alpha is more understanding than some.

However, as he's filling his water canister, he hears twigs and leaves crunching under heavy paws and freezes. He sniffs the air slightly, smelling a Beta. Before he can face the wolf, it pounces on him, tackling him to the ground and tossing them in the water. Mingi shifts into his wolf, ready to defend himself as he faces the grey wolf growling and snarling at him.

Mingi uses his height as an advantage, towering over the Beta and using his status as a way to make the Beta bow to him. The Beta snarls, not liking that he's being forced to bow, until Mingi shifts before him, "Shift back and fight me like a man!"

The wolf growls, phasing slowly back into a human and that's when Mingi frowns, "Yunho?"

Yunho stands, frowning as he looks Mingi all over, "Mingi? Is that really you!?"

He jumps in Mingi's arms, hugging him tightly until he realized both were naked and pulls away instantly, grabbing his shorts that were tied on his leg with a shoelace and putting them on quickly. Mingi laughs, grabbing his from his thrown aside bag and drying himself off with them before putting them on, "I can't believe it's you! I was hoping I'd run into you on my travels!"

"Wait, you're traveling too? Why?" Yunho asks, frowning as he brushes a leaf out of Mingi's hair.

"To find my mate and my place of course," Mingi smiles, "any luck for you? You found your mate or a pack to live with?"

"Actually, yeah," Yunho smiles, "Let me take you to them."

Just as promised, Yunho brings a new member to their pack, and Hongjoong almost turned him away from lack of space in the small house, until Yunho is the one to convince him otherwise.

"He was the best hunter and the strongest alpha in our pack, please, he can be a value to us," Yunho pleads, holding Mingi's hand tightly in his own. He wouldn't dare admit it yet, but he had a small crush on Mingi for the longest time and they were friends before he left.

Although space was limited in their small house, Hongjoong agreed to keep him and make him a valued asset to their small family pack.
