Me Noah, Luke and Ben peeked from our tent, our heads joined together as we found any hint of conscious soul. Nathan was still asleep while sitting up where we tried waking him up earlier.

"I think they are not awake yet." Noah said as we got in our tent again.

We were in our pajamas, with unwashed faces and bed hair. Still Noah looked like magazine cover bad boy, his hair sticking up and making it look like some cool hairstyle, his eyes half open but still looking intimidatingly cool. And his black pajamas tying up his looks.

And as I looked myself in the mirror next to him, my eyes swollen and red, my blue pajamas wrinkled and my hair looking like a birds nest, I could see the difference in real cool people like Noah and me, thank god I was taller. Well Ben and Nathan kind of looked the same as me and they are even shorter than Noah so I was at peace. And I still don't know how Luke managed to look this proper this early, but he is the one who woke us all, so maybe he was awake a lot earlier.

We heard a little rustling from outside, and saw Mr. Davis and Mr. Cruz coming out from their tent seemingly ready for the day with their perfectly ironed clothes and combed hair. Luke slapped Nathan hard to wake him up. And he woke up shouting

"I am not a thief, I did not steel this. I am not a..." Luke immediately shut Nathans lips with one hand and shook him again and whisper shouted.

"Wake up you dumbass, we have to follow Mr. Davis and Mr. Cruz." And Nathan woke up with a start.

We immediately put on our shoes and started following them discretely. They went back the place where the bus was, closely walking all the way, their hands brushing each other. While we walked half looking drunk from waking up this early and half trying to click their pictures without them noticing. But we still kept a respectful distance so they won't catch us.

They walked silently, smiling and enjoying the whether like are on a morning walk. And after a few minutes went inside some office like building which was also made from wood. We tip-towed to the gate and I took a sneaky peak, finding nothing but a wooden table and chair looking like a reception.

I waved everyone to come inside, and we slowly moved to the only door which was slightly ajar. We didn't dare to look in, since the voices that were coming seemed very close to the door.

"What are we gonna do now?" Ben whispered behind me.

Luke gestured us to all shut up and frowned deep in thoughts, he motioned his hands for us to follow him. We came out of the hut and Luke started to look for something, going around the hut and we followed him like lost puppy.

He gave a happy cry and ran to a small window of the hut. We all hid under it and peaked inside.

An elderly man was sitting behind the desk and Mr. Davis and Mr. Cruz was sitting on the opposite side.

"Would you both be able to submit the papers before noon here?" the older man asked

"I'll personally hand them to you before noon Mr. Throndsen. You don't have to worry." said Mr. Cruz calmly.

"Well then, I'll leave it to both of you." Mr. Throndsen said and gave two files in Mr. Cruz's hands. Who took them and got up to leave along with Mr. Davis. We hid ourselves just in time to get out of their line of sight and sighed thankful that they couldn't see us.

They came out of the hut or office, whatever it was and started walking on an unfamiliar road. We all followed them walking yet another twenty minutes. By now even Nathan was fully awake and extremely curious of the events unfolding in front of us.

They stopped in front of a rough path leading to trees and bushes and started walking towards it. We internally groaned and followed them onto the muddy uneven path. They both stopped in font of some tall bushes, and parted the leaves with their hands, to reveal a big clearing and went ahead.

We all got their and sticking our heads inside, and what we saw truly amazed us. Right in front of us was a beautiful clearing with a pond in the middle and many wild flowers surrounded it creating a beautiful visual. Some comfortable seats were placed in the corner, on which Mr. Davis and Mr. Cruz were sitting side by side. Files places on another chair a little further away from them.

They both sat there comfortably enjoying the beautiful scenery ahead of them. Mr. Cruz was softly looking at Mr. David who was rambling about some food, and Mr. Cruz only smiled and nodded at intervals but even a blind can see that all of his attention was only on the pretty man in front of him.

Before we could see anything else, my phone rang breaking the peace and I abruptly silenced it, we all stood there on the other side of the bushy wall to find any hint that we were caught but after a minutes silence all we heard was Mr. Davis rambling again from where he had previously stopped. We heaved a sigh and got out of that muddy road onto the main road leading back to our temporary stay.

"That was close" said Luke relieved.

"Yes, it was and that was totally a date I might add." said Ben smugly.

"Ya, if they only would have came for work, they would have done it fast and would have left." I said to Nathan.

"It did look like date but we can never be sure." said Nathan but watching our angry faces he continued, "I mean they are totally opposite, on one side our sweet Mr. Davis and on the other side the devil in disguise, heartless Mr. Cruz." he finished. Luke's small voice came as 'he isn't that bad' but we all ignored it.

"Ya, its like watching Beauty and the Beast." said Ben cracking everyone .

"Only the beast has the personality of Wednesday Addams" joked Nathan and we laughed like crazy including Luke who looked like he will fall over any minute.

We all went back to our camp side with new found hope and seemingly bright future of our detective careers. I just hope our fist mission as detectives would be a success and we could bring our beauty and the dimpled beast close.
