Ash's choice didn't matter; whether she wanted dawn to come or not. As if the whole planet was against her being comfortable, dawn eventually came, leaving her aghast. Aghast for what was about to come. She sat up on her bed, eyeing Jisang who was laying down on the floor with a pillow underneath his head. She opened her window as a fresh morning breeze filled the room with soft snoring noises. She smiled at the atmosphere; it was an indigo dawn with unknown birds chirping and the sun peeking at the horizon.
She made her way to the kitchen and made two fresh cups of coffee. After that, she quickly grabbed the new water bottle Jisang had packed for her, in order to fill it. But there was already orange juice in it, with a sticky note that said 'Organic drinkable orange for you :D'.
He's crazy, she thought and chuckled.
She left one of the coffees on the night table and sat down on the chair beside her window with another one.
"For me, I suppose?" A groggy voice started.
"Mhm, as far as I remember coffee is the first meal of your day," Ashlyn flashed a warm smile as Jisang gave her a hug and she snuggled into his stomach.
"Good memory, gratata."
"Gra- what?"
"Gratata, new word to my vocab,"
"And what on earth does that mean?"
"Just vibe with the word, goddamnit." He scrunched his nose up and took a sip of his coffee. "It's too early to quarrel with you," Ashlyn smirked and stood up, dragging the boy up too. He glanced at her with an i-can't-believe-you expression as he hastily placed his beverage aside.
"What the fuck do you want woman?"
"You said to vibe with the word," She smirked wider, causing Jisang's expression to drop further. "That is exactly what I'm doing!"
And they started dancing. Or moving their limbs, perhaps. Whatever suited the situation.
Ashlyn started moving back and forth like a chicken flapping its wings, forcing the taller male to do so too.
"Grr," She grinned, and Jisang gave in, grinning too with a sigh.
"Ratata!"
The doorbell rang.
Shoving Jisang inside her toilet, she hastily ran to her door. A black van alongside Taehyung and Namjoon welcomed her. She nodded as Taehyung stepped inside.
Taehyung carried the suitcase while Ashlyn gave an excuse for a journey to her toilet. Sneaking back inside her room, Ash bid Jisang goodbye with a sad smile on her lips.
"Stay safe, Ji. Clean up once in a while, you look much better now." She ruffled his hair as he held onto her, slightly parting after hugging.
"I should be the one saying that. You are the one going on missions that could potentially risk your life, dummy. If you ever need to turn back, I'm always here." He connected their foreheads together. She nodded and exited the room. The boy stood glued to his ground, waving.
"Don't go too far; where I won't be able to help you anymore."

Late in the afternoon, there was a knock on Ashlyn's shared bedroom. She groaned and stood up from her bed, advancing towards the door. After her first mission— even though she barely did any physical work— her body was soar. With Jisang, the aching didn't hit her as much as it hit now.
"Why did you knock?" She squeezed her eyes shut as she sat down on her bed, palming her head.
"Privacy," Jimin mumbled. When Ash didn't reply, he continued. "So uh, I'm sorry about uh, yesterday. I should've taken into account that it was your first time." He scratched his neck.
My appearance screamed first-time, fathead.
"Yeah, it's okay, chill." The throbbing on her head was getting heavier.
"Than- are you okay?" He paused mid-sentence and grabbed the bottle on the table beside her bed. "I'll be back." He hastily went out to the kitchen and filled the empty bottle after washing it. Once he handed it to her, she gulped the water down in one go.
"Better?"
"Yeah."
She threw up.

When did Ash fall asleep? She didn't know. When she opened her eyes, seven males were surrounding her, whispering to each other. Yoongi noticed she was awake and muttered a shut-up to everyone.
"Are you feeling better?"
"Yeah," She eyed Jimin warily. "For real, this time."
"Okay cool. You have," Yoongi dragged the word out, looking at each of the boys. "Food poisoning. It'll get better, just take a break." Ash nodded in response, feeling weak.
"Do you want to eat something? I'll try to make it for you," Seokjin offered.
"N-No, thank you." She fake coughed, remembering the talk between the two of them the day before. She laid down again, covering her heated-up ears. The rest of them took the hint and left, leaving Jimin and her behind. Jimin started minding his own business while Ash tried to calm her hormones.
Something was not right. She couldn't exactly point a finger, but something wasn't right. She rushed out of her bed and went to the toilet, throwing up once again.
"Is everything alright?" Jimin knocked.
"Yeah, just washing my face." She replied and held her breath until the sound of footsteps fading away echoed in her ears. She looked down at the basin and glanced at the mirror.
Blood.
Nothing was right.
There was something wrong; something extremely wrong, and Ashlyn was sure the boys knew it.
