As the team got back to normal Thor disappeared and Tony found Fury lurking in the barn.

Zara was currently sitting in the kitchen playing with the food that was in front of her. She had eaten some of  it but she had lost her appetite since that day in Africa. What Wanda did to her hurt her. She had no idea why Wanda would do that to her.

Bucky had noticed that but has also needed to recover from what he experienced. It had taken a toll on him and it took time for him to get that out of his head.

Fury was talking to everyone at the Kitchen table and Zara was only listening, she knew she wasn't completely part of the team because she was close to the twins. She was spacing out for most of the conversation but when she zoned back into the conversation to hear what people were saying. 

"Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that." Natasha said to Fury. 

"I do, I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard." Fury said and Natasha smiled a little. 

"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk." Natasha said as Steve rolled his eyes. 

Zara smiled a little and looked over to Bucky who was sitting next to Steve and spaced out again. She could've hurt him when he surprised her like he did, and that was the last thing she wanted to do. When they were so close she could feel his breath and all she wanted to do was to kiss him, but she couldn't do that either while they were fighting Ultron and the twins. She didn't know if she was going to make it out of the battle with him. 

Bucky noticed Zara staring with an empty look in her eyes, he figured she zoned out while thinking and waved a little to get her to snap back to reality. She blinked and looked at him for a second before looking over at Natasha who was talking. 

"When you two programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed." Natasha said and Bruce looked at her. 

"They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultron's going to evolve." Bruce said and was stuck in his own thoughts for a second. 

"How?" Fury asked and Bruce looked around the room. 

"Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?" Bruce asked and everyone shook their heads. "Ultron is going to use the cradle. The cradle to build a being." Bruce said as Tony nodded. 

"It makes sense, to make someone better than he is now." Tony said and looked at Steve. 

"Okay, everyone suit up, we're going to Korea. She's there now, I was talking to her at the party about where she was going after she was done there." Steve said as everyone nodded and stood up to get ready. 

Since they know Wanda was going to be there, they were a little apprehensive but they knew they had to stop Ultron as well. 

Zara was in the room Laura had told her to go to when there was a knock on the door. 

"Z?" She heard Bucky say and she looked over at the door before walking over and opening the door. 

Bucky looked at her and smiled a little. "You okay? Are you ready for this?" He asked and she looked at him for a second before nodding. 

"Yeah, I'm okay Buck. Are you okay? I'm sorry I sent the little electric pulse." She said and he laughed a little bit. 

"That wasn't just a little electric pulse, but it's okay. You didn't hurt me. Don't worry about that. I just wanted to check on you because I scared you." He said and she looked at him for a little bit. 

"Okay." She said softly and waited for him to say something. "Is there something I can do for you?" She asked. 

"Can I kiss you?" He asked catching her off guard. 

"Um, don't you think this isn't the time? Steve and Tony are waiting for us and we're about to go on a mission." She said and he nodded a little bit. "Besides, I don't think it would be a good idea." She added softly. 

Bucky's heart dropped a little when she said that. "Why wouldn't it be a good idea?" He asked her and she sighed. 

"Because either of us might die by Ultron's hand. We can't do this while facing death." She said and closed the door before he could argue anything. 

Zara sighed as she heard Bucky walk away from the door. She knew that she hurt him but what she said is what she thought was the best idea for them. They shouldn't get too attached to someone that might not be there at the end of the day. It's a pessimistic way of thinking but Zara didn't want to get her hopes up because she's been let down so many times before. 

Bucky walked downstairs to meet Steve and nodded a little bit when he saw him. "You okay Buck? Is Zara ready?" Steve asked and Bucky sighed. 

"Yeah, she's ready. She just needs a little bit more time to get ready and she'll be down." Bucky said and he walked outside to the quinnjet. 

Zara walked downstairs and saw Steve talking with Bucky so she hung back a little so she knew she didn't have to talk to him anymore than she had to. 

After Bucky walked out the door she walked over to Steve and he looked at her for a second before saying anything. "You and Bucky okay?" He asked and she nodded. 

"Yeah, I mean I'm okay. I wouldn't know anything about how Bucky's feeling." She said and played with the end of her sleeves as she shrugged. 

"Okay, sure." Steve said and smiled a little before she walked out to the quinnjet to try to take down Ultron a second time.
