The team got ready and met in the hanger to go to Africa. 

Zara was still thinking about what had happened between her and Bucky in the gym earlier when she got to the hanger and saw him to Steve. He paused a second when he saw her and she paused as well. Bucky smiled a little before continuing his conversation with Steve and Zara walked over to Natasha. 

"So how do we know he's in Africa?" She asked Natasha as she walked up to her. 

"We found someone in the files that Tony still has. It had a weapons dealer in it and he has Vibranium, so we're going there because it's probably where he's going." Natasha said and Zara nodded as she walked into the jet. 

As everyone filed into the jet, they took their seats and Tony started up the jet. Bucky sat next to Zara and was quiet for a minute. 

"So are we going to talk about what happened?" He asked and she looked at him. 

"What happened? I don't think there's anything to talk about. Nothing happened except a little meltdown from me." She said as she bit her lip. Zara didn't want to admit she wanted to kiss him  so badly in the gym when they were so close and Bucky didn't either but he felt something. 

Bucky nodded a little and looked at his metal hand. "I just thought something was going to happen." He said and she shrugged a little but was quiet. 

They waited in silence as they were waiting till they landed. 

As they quinnjet landed they all got up and ready for what was going to happen. 

They got to the boat that Ultron was going to be in and quickly devised a plan. Zara went in with Bucky and they were waiting for the signal for them to actually start fighting, which is the point where the three people out there, Steve ,Tony, and Thor needed help. 

"I know this is your first mission and it's been only days since you got here, but you're going to be okay. Plus Wanda and Pietro might be here." Bucky whispered to Zara and she nodded but didn't say anything. 

Zara was looking for the twins. She desperately wanted to know why they were on Ultron's side. She knew they didn't like Tony Stark but still. Ultron wants to kill people. He's not any better than Tony. 

Bucky heard people yell and started to drag Zara into the battle zone. She was starting to get nervous but as soon as she calmed down a little bit she felt okay and comfortable. 

"You're okay Zara." Bucky said as he started to punch people. She nodded and started to fight as well. Zara didn't have the strength that anyone else on the team had but she was still strong.

All of a sudden she wasn't in the fight and she was standing in front of Pietro. "Z, how did you get here? What are you doing with them?" He asked in his thick accent. 

"Pietro! Oh my god you're alive! The Avengers aren't all that bad. They aren't too bad, Tony is the only bad one. Why are you with Ultron? And where's Wanda?" Zara asked quickly and hugged him. 

"'Wanda's around here somewhere. Ultron found us, he reached out to us and we had to accept. The Avengers started with Tony which is why they need to be stopped." Pietro said and looked behind Zara. 

"Zara!" Bucky called out and she looked behind him. 

"Bucky is calling me, he's got to be worried." She said and Pietro just looked at her. "Don't look at me like that. He's a really good guy and not like Winter." She said and shook her head. 

"You've changed." He said before zipping away. 

Zara sighed and looked around her before starting to walk towards where she was before. "Z, what are you doing here?" Wanda asked behind Zara, making her jump and sending out a force field and knocking Wanda back a little bit. 

Zara turned around and smiled a little. "Oh I'm so happy to see you. I'm with the Avengers but they're okay." She explained but before she could say anything else, Wanda did something with her hand and Zara was transported back to the lab. 

As the Avengers were fighting Wanda was going one-by-one and messing with their minds. 

Tony saw the Avengers dead. 

Steve saw himself coming home from the war with Peggy. 

Natasha saw the Red Room.

Thor saw all of Asgard, dead. 

Bucky saw himself as Winter again, killing all of his friends. 

As she made her way to Clint, he electrocuted her with an arrow before she was whisked away by Pietro and made her way to Bruce.

Clint made his way to help everyone back to the jet so everyone would recover as Tony tried to wrangle Bruce. 

Zara was sitting in her seat hugging her legs, hoping she'll never go back to that place, haunted by the things they did to her. 

Bucky was looking at his metal hand and just staring. He hated it. He wanted it gone but that would mean he didn't have a second arm. Becoming Winter again was something he was so scared of. 

Clint took the controls to get the team to a safe house and the ride there was silent. Everyone was so quiet and stuck in their own terror. 

As they landed Clint led them into a house where he introduced the team to his wife and kid, which they apparently had no clue about. 

Zara just smiled little and nodded as Clint's wife showed her to a room she's going to be sharing with Natasha and Bucky. She sat on the bed when Laura left and just started to cry. 

Bucky walked in slowly and sat down next to her. She hugged him as she cried and he hugged her back. They held onto each other and just cried for a little bit. 

They pulled back and they wiped their eyes gently. "I'm sorry." She said and he shook his head. 

"Don't say sorry." He said as he wiped away a tear from her face. 

"Bucky..." Zara said softly. She didn't know what to say anymore. She got up and walked away. Kissing him wasn't something she could think about at the moment, after what she just saw. 

Bucky had a different idea and got up and grabbed her wrist to turn her around. She wasn't ready for it and sent out an electrical pulse. 

Bucky got sent back onto the bed and Zara ran out of the room again to get some food from Laura. 

Bucky sighed and ran a hand through his hair as he was thinking about what happened with Zara and his dream thing. 

Zara got downstairs and smiled a little at the kids as she walked into the kitchen, embarrassed.
