A/N: This is a time jump of only a few days so it's like three days later 

As Zara had remembered she was from Sokovia and she had been friends with the enhanced that helped attack the avengers in the battle, she hadn't remembered a lot more. It was difficult for her to remember anything. There had to be a trigger for her to remember and the only one who could trigger that was Tony and she didn't want to be around him. 

They had figured out that she sent out electric pulses whenever she was scared or something she wasn't ready for happened. She was slowly working on controlling it but it was hard on her trying to remember things, and work on her powers. 

Her and Bucky had grown closer and she actually felt safe when he was around. She had some difficulty getting comfortable again because she was kept in that dirty cage for such a long time. 

Sleeping wasn't a thing yet, the only sleep she would get was when she was knocked unconscious before and whenever she drifted now, she would get nightmares. When she couldn't sleep, she explored. Each person had a different floor they slept in and there's a guest floor so that's where she stayed. Unfortunately it was the bottom floor of all of the sleeping quarters so she had a long elevator ride to the living area. 

So far she had explored up until the lab, which she didn't want to touch because that stuff was Tony's and she wanted nothing to do with him. There was enough to explore without touching the lab anyway. 

As everyone woke up and joined up in the living area eating breakfast Tony announced there would be a party that night. 

"Isn't it a little too early to be thinking about a party?" Bucky asked as he yawned and rubbed his face with his left hand. He was eating fruit loops for breakfast, same as Natasha. 

"It is never to early to think about a party." Tony said as he took a sip of his coffee. He didn't normally eat breakfast. 

"Well, I agree with Tony. Getting the scepter back is a big accomplishment." Thor said happily munching on his usual two packs of pop tarts. 

"See, Thor agrees with me. We're having a party tonight." Tony said again and everyone groaned in a somewhat agreement. Everyone was in no mood to argue with him but it wasn't a problem to Tony. 

As the tower was getting ready for the party Bucky was sitting down with Zara trying to help her regain some of the memories that she still hasn't remembered. 

"Okay, so do you think your parents are alive?" Bucky asked and Zara took a minute before responding. She sighed and shook her head. 

"I don't know what else to do Bucky." She said and put her head in her hands. The more they tried and the more there were no results, the more she got frustrated with herself. "I can't remember. I can't do this." She said softly and she flinched a little when he touched her shoulder. Zara had been groomed to expect punishment when she failed to do something and when she failed to remember, she thought she was going to get hurt again. 

"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you. Just because you can't remember right now doesn't mean you won't remember forever. Plus, I won't hurt you if you don't remember. It's okay." Bucky said gently and Zara looked up from her hands and smiled a little. 

"Thank you." She said and hugged him. 

Bucky smiled and hugged her gently as he rubbed her back. "You're going to be okay." He reminded her and she nodded a little bit. 

"Okay you two, break it up. I gotta help this one pick out a party outfit." Natasha said and Zara quickly backed away from Bucky and got up. "You'll see her at the party." Natasha said before leading Zara to her room. 

Bucky nodded a little and smiled to himself as he watched them walk away. 

As everyone was enjoying the party Zara felt extremely out of place. Her brown hair had been curled and put in  loose bun with a few stands framing her face. Her dress was a loose fitting maroon wrap dress that complimented her skin tone and her hair. She was definitely out of her comfort zone. 

She was trying to fit in and be comfortable but she still felt very out of place. 

Bucky had noticed this and he tried to make her feel as comfortable as he could. He knew what it felt to be out of place and he didn't want her to feel like that either. At points when he noticed that she was slipping out of a group or just sitting by herself, which is difficult to do in Avengers tower, he would go over to her and make sure she was okay. 

Zara appreciated his effort to make her feel included a lot. She knew that the twins were out there and that was on her mind a lot. She remembered how close they were before they went through the experimentation and she missed them. They considered her a sister and she knew they missed her too. 

After Zara slipped away from a group and went to the bar to get another drink, Bucky joined her. "Hey, you okay?" He asked and she smiled a little as she took a sip of her new drink. 

"I'm okay Bucky, you don't have to check on me every time I'm by myself." She said and looked at him. "I appreciate it, but you don't have to." She added and he shrugged. 

"I just want to make sure you're okay and feeling like you're apart of the team." He said and she nodded a little bit. 

"I'm getting there. Thank you." She said before turning and kissing his cheek gently before walking away. 

Bucky froze for a second and then turned to say something to her, but when he turned around she was lost in the crowd. 

He knew had only been three days since they found her, but he had spent so much time with her trying to help her remember and helping her get acclimated to the team. The thing he might not had been prepared for, is his feelings for her.
