Zara landed in chaos. People were screaming as a train was barreling towards them, but a flash of silver moved them out of the way just in time. She knew that was Pietro and she needed to get his attention. 

The train stops before Zara could do anything and Pietro stops running, stopping outside of the train. He bends over, breathing hard. 

Zara sees him and her eyes widen, finally seeing him. She runs up to him and almost knocks him over in a hug. 

"Pietro." She whispers as she holds onto him. Pietro's eyes widen as he realizes who's actually hugging him. 

"Z." He responds hugging her just as tight. 

Wanda, Steve, and Bucky come out of the train. Wanda sees Zara and Pietro and runs over to join the hug leaving Bucky and Steve alone. 

"Lets give them a moment." Bucky whispers looking at the expression on Zara's face when she sees Wanda as well. She wasn't too happy with Wanda, making her see Strucker again but she was just happy they were alive, and working with the team and not against. 

Steve looked at Bucky and rolled his eyed. "So what happened? You keep telling me nothing and you're find but you're looking at Zara like she hurt you. What happened?" He asked and Bucky looked at Steve. 

"I asked if I could kiss her. I wanted to, I really did. But she said no, she didn't think it was appropriate since Ultron might kill us soon. I think it's the perfect time to tell her I've fallen for her, you know, facing death and everything." Bucky said looking down at his metal hand. 

"You know I understand that, but give her time. She might change her mind since her friends are working with us and not against us." Steve said and Bucky nodded a little, not responding. 

Steve started to walk towards the group of three. 

"I'm okay Wanda, I just need a minute." Pietro insisted but Wanda still looked at him worriedly. 

"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Steve said while looking a Pietro. 

"the cradle, did you get it?" Wanda asked taking a step towards the two super soldiers. 

"Stark will take care of it." Bucky said and Wanda shook her head as she noticed the metal arm. 

"No he won't." Wanda responded. 

"You don't know what you're talking about, Stark's to crazy." Steve said and the three Sokovians looked at each other. 

"He will do anything to make things right." Wanda spat out as she looked back at her brother to make sure he was alright. 

Steve looked at Bucky before turning away, "Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms?" He asked into the earpiece. No one responded to him. 

"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?" Wanda asked looking at Bucky, who now knew that she was right. 

"We need to get back to New York, now." Bucky said and turned to Steve. "Is there a QuinnJet at the lab?" He asked and Steve thought for a minute. 

"Yeah, we need to head over there, now. Stick together and do not speed ahead." Steve responded pointing at the speedster. 

The five of them began walking, well it was closer to running, back to the lab to get the QuinnJet. Bucky looked over at Zara but she was engaged in a conversation with Wanda about what she learned while she was with Ultron. He sighed a little before turning to look where he was going. 

Zara looked up at Bucky when she noticed he turned away, noticing his sad expression. She knew she messed up what they had and she had no idea how to fix it. Zara turned her attention back to Wanda as they kept running. 

Once they got to the lab, Steve and Bucky quickly located the jet and loaded everybody on. Steve sat in the pilots chair and took off, hoping to get to New York in time to stop Tony. 

Zara looked at Bucky as he sat nearest to Steve. She was sitting by the twins but excused herself before walking over to Bucky. 

"Can I talk to you for a second?" She asked softly making him look up at her. Bucky wasn't ready for her to even talk to him so he was surprised when she asked to talk. He nodded a little and got up. They walked over to the emptiest part of the jet before sitting down. 

Zara took a second to get her thoughts together before actually talking to him. "I'm sorry, you didn't deserve being blasted like I blasted you and you don't deserve being toyed with. I'm terrified of death and I don't want to hurt people if I die in this fight which I won't be surprised if I do. I just don't want to hurt you when I die in like a day or maybe two." Zara whispered while playing with the sleeves of her jumpsuit she wears into battle. 

Bucky took a second to absorb what she said. "I just thought I felt something between us, something more than friendship, and I thought you felt it too. I guess it was only me. Don't feel bad for feeling how you feel, just know I'll be here for you if you need anything." Bucky said, he waited a second before getting up and walking back over to Steve to ask how much longer the flight would be. 

Zara curled up in the chair she was sitting in, and hugged her knees to her chest. She opened up to Bucky and she felt like all she did was hurt him more. 

Wanda and Pietro were about to get up and ask her what was wrong but Steve interrupted them by saying, "We're here." 

Steve landed the QuinnJet and everyone got off. "Follow me." Steve said before walking into the tower and headed towards the lab. 

Zara looked at Bucky's back, wondering what he was thinking about, but she knew she couldn't ask. 

"I'm going to say this once." Steve said as he walked into the lab with the group behind him. 

"How about nonce?" Tony asked looking at them. 

"Shut it down." Steve exclaimed. "You don't know what you're doing." He added looking at the cradle. 

Zara looked between them and then back to the twins, this was not going to end well and everyone in the room knew it.
