They both look at each other before looking back at the road.

"How?" Steve questions.

"Well, I mean, I'm pretty sure that Bucky was in my room last night. And plus he's Bucky" I say puckering my lips. They both nod.

"Well, that ma-" Sam gets interrupted by someone knocking their car into ours.

Our car flies into the air and across the margin of the highway. All of the cars stop and we skid to a halt. I feels blood trickle down my forehead. I look and see Steve and Sam both groaning. We slowly get out of the car and see Bucky standing a few feet away from a car with an open door. He sees us and starts running.

I start running and I jump over a car and I hear my clothes tear. I land back on the paved road and look down to see two fur covered paws. Ah finally. I feel my speed pick up and Bucky stare at me with wide eyes. He jumps into his car and takes off. My face is side by side with his cars bumper.

I speed up but the car is way too fast for me. But I don't give up. I try to keep up with him and do for a while until my stamina lowers. I slow down and watch the car speed away into the distance.

I turn around and see that I am not that far away from our hotel. I make no one sees me and go to my room. I slowly turn back into my normal self and try to open the door but I don't have my key card. Then I remembered that I locked my window because of Bucky. I make my way to the guys room and see that their window isn't locked.

I open it and climb in there. I go to Steve's bag and I grab a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. I put them on and wait.

About twenty minutes later I hear the truck pull into the parking lot. They both barge in and see me on the bed.

"What the hell was that!" Steve yells.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused. Didn't they read my file before I woke up?

"You just turned into a very large cat!" Sam says with a smile unlike Steve.

"Leopard. Didn't you read my file?" I ask.

"Yes! But it didn't have anything about you turning into an animal" Steve says and gets into his signature brooding stance. Arms crossed, feet apart.

"Well, I guess they forgot to mention something" I say with a grin.

"How?" Sam asks obviously too fascinated than he should be.

"After HYDRA took me they did a series of experiments on me. They did way too many actually. They did so many to the point my body couldn't take it. A scientist had a theory that he wanted to try out, a very dangerous theory. Mixing my blood with an animals. So they decided to do a leopard. He figured that it would kill me anyways so maybe he was doing me good by putting me out of my misery" I say.

"I pulled through, it actually saved me. They tried it with many others but they all either died or went brain dead. So they trained me and I became their most dangerous agent. They called me Vernichten" I finish and I look back up at them and Sam is looking at the floor and Steve was looking at me in the eye.

"I'm going to get us something to eat" Sam says interrupting the silence.

"Kay" I say and give him a smile.

"What does Vernichten mean?" Steve asks quietly.

"Annihilate" I answer in the same tone. He looks away with a grimace. He stares at the floor for a few moments.

"I'm sorry" He apologized.

"Why?" I question with honest curiosity.

"We raided most of the HYDRA bases. I'm sorry that I didn't find you" He says his voice cracking.

He looked so broken. I rush and wrap my arms around his neck. He stiffens before relaxing.

"I haven't known you for very long but I know you are a great person. Just because you have the title of Captain America doesn't mean you have to be able to save everybody. You are human. Humans aren't perfect" I whisper in his ear. I feel him nod.

"We will find him. I promise" I whisper again.

"Yes, we will" He confirms.
