|Sonic's POV|

I had locked myself in the bathroom, I just couldn't handle being alone in my thoughts anymore, so I was looking for anything, something, to cut these stitches off on my arms, my thighs, I just need them back. I just something to get me to think about something, I hate this silence in my head and I just want to think to get this feeling of being empty out of head.

I think I was the only one awake tonight, Knuckles was long gone or he stated I don't know I'm not his keeper, but I was just running all over the house in search of something sharp. My hand found the pocket knife I stole from that person that was threatening to hurt me with it.

Finally, I just pulled the blade out of the holding slot it was in, I just brought the blade up to the stitching on my arm and started to slice the stitching on my arm the pain, it felt good.

I never felt so alive, I just continued cutting the stitching loose on my arm digging the blade deeper into my arm to and just watch the blood flow out of the cut, I couldn't stop at this point it felt to amazing, to stop it, make me feel something, I can't explain it but I just continued cutting I don't know how deep but I just continued, I felt myself falling to to my knees shaking and just tear eye, sniffling.

"Sonic?"

My eyes got widen, and I just felt a smile form on my face, that voice...That lovely voice...before I turned my head around and I saw a pair of glowing red eyes looking at me.

I hadn't notice I had gotten up and just made my way towards him. I didn't have control of myself and I honestly can't remember when I actually had a moment like this before but the look on Shadow's face was more of concerned than fear, he finally cares about me, that's kind of cute.

|Third Person POV|

Shadow just stood back from the blue hedgehog who was stepping closer to him holding a knife in his hands the moonlight just showed how crazy the blue hedgehog looked and the blood drenching his arms and blood fur.

"Sonic, put the knife down...I really don't want to hurt you" the ebony hedgehog tells the other who just laughed at him clinching the knife in his hand, he didn't have any idea how unstable the blue hedgehog was when he was alone in his mind but this was Sonic, the true Sonic, to his understanding at least, the black and red hedgehog ducked from the knife swing, it was very close to cutting into his own skin, Sonic was shorter and faster than Shadow, and the ebony hedgehog was stronger than the blue hedgehog but right now he just had to try and get the knife out of Sonic's hands.

Sonic was quick, as much as he want to taunt the other hedgehog, his throat just wouldn't let him, and didn't look like he was stopping soon either, just share the pain, share the happiness, was what was on his mind getting an opening Sonic spin dashed right into Shadow knocking him off balance. The ebony hedgehog just grunted he can take a lot, after all he's not fully Mobian before Sonic could get another attack in Shadow sighed to himself, as much as he didn't want to hurt the other hedgehog he was gonna have to it he wants him to stop.

Shadow was taken off guard and felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, the blue hedgehog had just jammed the knife into Shadow's shoulder, seeing the black and red hedgehog's face was pleasing to him. The ebony hedgehog only flinched at the pain but this gives him a chance to grab the blue hedgehog and throw him off. A small groan escapes the blue hedgehog's lips when he hit the wall. Shadow pulls the pocket knife out of his shoulder with grunt, his blood started to stain his black fur, but he tosses the knife to the side putting up his fists.

Sonic spins back to his feet the smile hadn't faded from his muzzle, he just looks at the knife that was on the floor and the black hedgehog. He didn't need it he just lunges forward to punch Shadow, he may not be strong but he was quick. Shadow just grabs the fist with his hand, flinching cause of the knife wound in his shoulder but it wasn't gonna stop him he just needed to slow the hedgehog down, how was he going do that, well he didn't think that far, before Sonic could throw another punch his other fist was grabs by the ebony hedgehog, the two struggled to pin the other to the wall or ground, the pain in Shadow's shoulder was making this difficult, and the cut wounds on Sonic's arms that were just dripping with blood and his wrist from the damage that he did with the handcuff wasn't making this easy on the blue hedgehog either but unlike Shadow he was use to feeling pain.

"G-Give u-up!" Shadow grunted putting more weight on the blue hedgehog. The blue hedgehog only weakly growled before, just giving the ebony hedgehog a powerful headbut to the muzzle causing Shadow fall back he was taken back about the headbut before he could collect himself he was swept off his feet by Sonic kicking him under the ankles, Shadow fell to the floor.

Sonic swiftly grabbed the pocket knife and pins Shadow to the floor holding the knife close to his face. Shadow holding the knife away from his face, growling moving the hedgehog's hands further away from his own body.

"Come on S-Sonic you got to snap out of it..." Shadow breathed out, the blue hedgehog just jammed the knife into the floor right next to Shadow's head just barely missing him. Sonic just lets out some deep chuckles, a but of drool on his lips, was he enjoying this? Or was he coming to his senses, either way Shadow just elbows Sonic off of him and pins him beneath himself, at least the pain in his shoulder had subsided.

Sonic looked deep into Shadow's eyes before just forcing himself to speak. "Y-You have a good f-face, Stripes..." the blue hedgehog snickers.

Shadow only blanks before the position shifts to Sonic again being on top of the ebony hedgehog, he just leans down so that their muzzles were close and they can feel each other's breaths, before the other hedgehog could do anything a pair of lips was pressed against his own his ear only twitches when the knife was pulled out of the wood of the floor.

|Sonic's POV|

I couldn't hurt Shadow...I don't mean to hurt him, I just wanted him to feel the pain that I was feeling. He was so warm, so soft, I just needed more of him.

I just put my hand on his neck, just a one squeeze, I want him to struggle, I want him to squirm.

I just pull my hand away from his neck and just pulls myself off of him, still holding the knife in my hand I just looked down at my hands, they are covered in blood, is that Shadow's blood or mine.

My arms drenched with blood from my opened wounds, everything was covered in red, and the sent of copper just filled my nose.

"Sonic?"

I just slashed at Shadow I know he can handle it and I wasn't holding the blade tight. I was dangerous and I just don't need him to calm me down. I just heard a grunt from him and I saw a small cut on his cheek.

God he looked cute when he was hurt. I just need a minute.

I just felt my body shaking, that laughter I know it's mine, but was I crying? I'm crying am I? I just never felt so much joy before in my life.

I didn't see Shadow come up behind me and put me into a headlock with his arms, I think I just stop struggling, I needed this. I needed to be stopped.

|Third Person POV|

Sonic had went limp under Shadow's grip dropping the knife onto the floor, the ebony hedgehog just checked to be sure Sonic was really out cold, but he never seen the blue hedgehog so happy before just from hurting himself, though he did think that he hid the pocket knife in a good place, letting a small sigh escape his lips he was gonna have to deal with this much as he hated to make the blue hedgehog feel like he's trapped, but he just need to keep him safe from himself.

"I'm sorry Sonic..." Shadow said as he just picks up the bloody blue hedgehog in his arms bridal style and just carries him up the steps he did have a room planned for Sonic when he thought he was ready enough to sleep in a bed but now it was gonna be his prison he wasn't gonna asked about the box that Rouge brought when the blue hedgehog was passed down to his care but the items can be used full others were questionable but he just used the long the chain and chains Sonic to the bed before laying the blue hedgehog down on the bed and putting the covers over him. Shadow just feels his shoulder where the knife had went into his shoulder it had stop stinging, but he'll look at it in the morning.

Sonic just grips the bedsheets and curls into himself his ear twitching, he was okay to say the least but Shadow doesn't know how long he'll be unstable for, he definitely doesn't trust that Therapist either. The blue hedgehog's ear twitches when the door was shut, Sonic was in a deep sleep.
