|Third Person POV|

Sonic had been seeming the therapist more often but Shadow had stopped since Sonic wasn't in the hospital anymore and hadn't really been hurting himself anymore, in stead he was just this empty husk that followed orders that was given to him, wasn't afraid of anything, nor was his afraid to hurt anyone if given the order to do so, the ebony hedgehog didn't really enjoy having this version of Sonic around sure the hedgehog had gotten another times when he didn't understand but that was normal because he's been in isolation but now the hedgehog was just dull and if he wasn't given an order he just found something else to do that was in the same room of Shadow or just sat there staring.

"Are you doing okay Sonic?" Shadow asked Sonic who was just sitting on the floor looking off in the distance. The ebony hedgehog only got a nod from Sonic that didn't really mean anything to the other hedgehog since it was just dull. As much as the ebony hedgehog wanted to just slap the azure hedgehog to his senses it just wouldn't do anything.

"Do you at least feel something when I give you this?" Shadow asked putting a knife in front of Sonic who just looked at it before just shaking his head. A small growl escapes the other hedgehog's lips before he just stood up, he really can't do anything to get Sonic back to his old self as much of a pain he was he just liked that Sonic better than this one, he saw the blue hedgehog stand up as well after he did. "No sit back down...I don't want to talk to you right" the ebony hedgehog said before he just storm off to be alone and think. The azure hedgehog that watched him leave just sat back down he looked at the knife that was in front of him, he didn't know why Shadow was upset with him, is this what he wanted, the hedgehog to now longer hurt himself of other around him. The blue hedgehog just takes the name in his hands getting up to put it was away before just sitting back down again, he didn't what else to do so he just expected the ebony hedgehog to return.

It's been a minute and the other hedgehog hadn't returned back the blue hedgehog just sat on the couch still waiting after all the ebony hedgehog said to just sit down and was following order, he eventually the blue hedgehog's ear twitched and it was sound or the door being opened and the blue hedgehog looked over at the other hedgehog.

Shadow didn't acknowledge Sonic, as he just took the knife back and walking back to the kitchen to put it away, he really didn't know what to do with Sonic, now so he thought maybe ignoring the hedgehog would be the best option he had, if could he was gonna feed him just not talk to him or acknowledge that he was there.

|Sonic's POV|

Is he ignoring me? No he couldn't do that right. I don't know how I feel now, I'm just so alone. I don't know what's wrong with me, isn't this what he wanted, me to not hurt myself or hurt others unless I was told. Didn't he find me annoying when I asked him all those questions to thinks that I didn't understand.

My head hurts.

I just don't understand, what I'm doing wrong, I thought I was doing some right but now, he just looks mad at me. I don't know, I just don't know and I'm scared I don't want to be alone in my thoughts and I don't want to be alone physically.

I just scratch at my head, Dark? Fleetway? Exetior? Shadow?

Anyone.

Felt something roll down the corner of of my eyes, was I crying? I brought my hand to my face and felt on the corner of my face it was wet. I'm crying. In what felt like ages I'm crying.

Great the only emotion to feel that was sadness, and as quickly as it came it was gone, I don't know what do now so I just laid down on the couch, I guess I could just sleep on it.

|Third Person POV|

Rouge had noticed the tension that was going on between the two hedgehogs when she was downstairs with Shadow, the two are partners so they did a lot of G.U.N missions together along with a Robot, that Sonic doesn't see often, though the hedgehog couldn't speak his jesters were enough to at least get the Bat to be concerned for the blue hedgehog's sanity and with the therapist Shadow hired, Sonic would always go with her to see him but on the way back she could tell that hedgehog was only putting up an act for his Therapist.

Sonic saw Shadow and tried to get his attention with a friendly wave but the ebony hedgehog who was just enjoying his cup of coffee that he just finished just handed the empty mug over to the hedgehog, and asked the azure hedgehog to put his mug away, which the azure hedgehog did without asking any further questions. Shadow wasn't really taking advantage of Sonic's kindness he just didn't like the way he is now that he was getting help, and Rouge can see it the blue hedgehog just did not have that look on his face that screamed personality, no it was just blank and expressionless his eyes were just so dull, sure he had his moments where he was just scratch at the stitches and carvings on his face and his stomach, even the stitches on that were on his neck that was underneath the new collar that he had on it wasn't a shock collar but just a normal collar the Bat picked out it was pitch black with a hint of red on it, with a tag that had Shadow's full name on the back and Sonic's full name in the front, she kind of hated treated Sonic like property but it's just how the G.U.N staff broke him to be like and that's just all he knew to act.

The bat just folded her wings to her back as she just came home from a double with certain red echidna and a pink hedgehog with a yellow-ish fox. Her blue eyes landed on Sonic who was just sleeping curled up on the couch, and no sign of Shadow, a sigh escapes the bat's lips. "Okay this has to stop..." she said as she walks into the house and turns into a hallway.

Shadow was just busy cleaning off his motorcycle from a long day of doing missions his ear twitches when heard the clanking sound of heels coming to the garage, he didn't need to be a genus to know who it was.

"Shadow Robotnik-Doom Hedgehog!"

A small growl escapes his throat he hated when his full name was used, beside Amy, Rouge, and G.U.N no one really knew his full name.

"What is it Rouge?"

"Is there a reason why your avoiding Sonic? Because if there is you better speak up now!" Rouge said folding her arms over her chest.

"I'm not avoiding him"

"You are too Avoiding Shadow, you know it as well as I do that your purposely avoid the Project that is designed to be your Ultimate Counterpart"

Shadow just stood up and folded his arms back looked back at the bat. "I just don't feel a connection with him anymore it's that simple"

Rouge only blinks before narrowing her eyes at the ebony hedgehog, "That is bullshit, and you know it" she said before grabbing the hedgehog's arm and pulling him out the garage and grabbed something out of the box that was in the garage on the shelf.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm tired of seeing him so depressed, I get it he may not look the same when he first came to you but your the mobian that he looks up to and I plan on keeping it that way" Rouge said taking Shadow to the living room.

Sonic wasn't asleep he was trying to go back to sleep but the commotion of Rouge yelling at Shadow kind of woke him up. In front of him was the bat holding onto Shadow's arm with a tight grip.

"Sonic, Hun can you stand up for me" Rouge ordered the azure hedgehog to do, Sonic got off of the couch and stood up for the back, he before looked down and saw a yellow like ring on his wrist that had a blue like rope hanging on it that Rouge attached to Shadow's inhibitor ring.

"Rouge..." Shadow growled.

"I'll take it off when you can prove to me that your Bullshit of a lie, is a fucking lie" The bat growled back before turning away "And I cancelled Sonic's Therapy Sessions...he's proven that he clearly doesn't need it"

Both hedgehog's watched the white bat walk away from the two, leaving both hedgehog's handcuffs to each other by the opposite wrists, Sonic did say anything, not that he could cause of his injured throat, but he was hoping the black and red hedgehog would be the first to say something, he was only met with silence.

Sonic's green eyes just looked away from Shadow, he didn't really understand what Rouge meant and he just started to scratch at his stitches that were in his arm, he does that often now, since he's not allowed to be around sharp objects, or that mirror in fear that he'd just punch it and used the shards to harm himself, he does try his best to not break those rules. Shadow can feel the cuff move from Sonic's end he didn't really understand why he's been avoiding his counterpart when it was clear that he was only doing so cause he missed the old Sonic, but maybe with the Therapy being cancelled that version of Sonic could comeback, he finally glanced over to see what going on and pulled on his side of the cuff to stop the azure hedgehog from continuing.

"I thought I'd told you to leave it alone"

Sonic only looks away his dull eyes just didn't show any emotions to his own actions he just was quiet.

"This is stupid..." Shadow said before just folding his arms, forcing Sonic to get closer to the ebony hedgehog cause of the handcuffs, the blue hedgehog didn't protest, he just thought this was punishment for his actions or for doing something that upset Rouge in away, so if he was gonna be handcuffed to Shadow then he's gonna have to try and make things right with the ebony hedgehog. Though he doesn't understand what he did wrong though after all Shadow proved to him that he doesn't like him and just kept him around cause it was his job for G.U.N.
