Shadow stirs awake, the sun shining into his face from the open the window, he rubs his eyes, he felt someone holding his hand shift his head to see a blue hedgehog who was fast asleep, snoring softly a bit of drool staining his muzzle and the bedsheets, holding onto the other hedgehog's hand. Shadow was about to move his hand away from the sleeping hedgehog beside him before he saw the inhibitor handcuffs on their wrists and he lets out a sigh, when he sees Rouge he's gonna have to give her a piece of his mind, but he really hadn't noticed stained the blue hedgehog was, just from him scratching at his stitches and that rash, the ebony hedgehog knew that he was gonna have to Sonic it, but should at least give the blue hedgehog a bath first.

Sonic just tightens his grip on Shadow's hand as he just lets out a weak little whimper, the azure hedgehog doesn't really have a problem with sleeping but he did get nightmares about the people doing horrible things to him, he just slurps up his drool, his eyes fluttering open at first he didn't have any memory of getting to be sleeping next Shadow until he saw the golden bracelet on his wrist, that he remembers he just lifts his head up to see Shadow was looking at him, well not at him just away from him deep in thought. The hedgehog struggles a little to get a word out but instead he just coughs and chokes, cause the other hedgehog just flinch and help Sonic.

"Don't try speaking Sonic, the hadn't healed" Shadow tells the hedgehog. Who only pinned his ears to his head, he tasted a bit of copper in his mouth just from that coughing fit, he hated not being about to speak he just wanted to say something, but looking down at his hands he just spoke the only way he knows how.

Morning

Shadow didn't respond, which made the blue hedgehog just frown in response, it was hard to tell if the ebony hedgehog really liked the other's company. The blue hedgehog felt the weight of the bed shift and his arm being pulled forward by the ebony hedgehog getting off of the bed, the azure hedgehog only let Shadow move, before moving himself to get up.

"Don't" Shadow coldly said looking at Sonic in the corner of his eyes.

Sonic blinks and just lowers his hands from his neck, he really felt itchy and the urge to scratch at his stitches kind of gave him the since of comfort, he could still feel something even if it was pain. He felt Shadow grab a hold of his hand and just starts pulling him along, the azure hedgehog stumbles but followed after the other hedgehog, to wherever he was leading him too.

Shadow opens the door to his bathroom, he started to up the water before turning to the blue hedgehog and started to get to work with removing all the only bandages, that were stained with blood, and sweat so they were no longer white, the blue hedgehog flinched at little with the bandages that been rather stuck to his skin by some kind of mucus was pulled off and just thrown into the trash, now the blue hedgehog really felt itchy and sticky, he only lets out a yelp when the water hit his skin sending shivers down his spine, he looked at he was in the bath tub, it didn't take the clear water to turn a dirty shade of red and brown. Sonic hadn't really realized how dirty he actually was, but he just lets Shadow wash him off the gold bracelet clanking against the side of the tub every time Shadow moved his arm when cause the blue hedgehog's arm to move. The blue hedgehog's ear twitches when heard the other hedgehog let out a disgusted breath out of mouth. Sonic must have been really dirty if he was getting that reaction from the ebony hedgehog.

"We really need to work on this physical health you go going for you, Hedgehog" Shadow growled as he was really scrubbing the blue hedgehog's fur, to get all the stains out, and the puss off of the marks so that it doesn't get effected, Sonic didn't really flinch as much he was just silent, he did feel Shadow started pulling out all the dead quills out of his fur.

Sonic felt Shadow's hands start go do to hips and thighs, he really didn't like those part of his body touched but he really didn't care either, the memories of that Jackal that took advantage of him over the years to him this kind of felt okay to him, he just hadn't noticed he small moan escapes his lips, while what just cleaned down there, he was quiet so the ebony hedgehog didn't have to hear him.

"Okay" Shadow said as he pulls the plug in the bathtub to let water drain, the blue hedgehog felt clean and didn't really smell horrible either, he stood up and got out of the tub. He really couldn't see himself cause there was no mirror in the bathroom but he just had to take Shadow's expression for the source of him looking clean.

Sonic's fur was no long a deep sickly blue color and is back to the healthy blue color, now that his wounds were clean they didn't look as terrible as they did before. A sigh escapes the ebony hedgehog's lips as he just clips the collar back onto the blue hedgehog.

"Can you tell me about that?" Shadow asked pointing to the rash that was on the side of Sonic's stomach, it was still red and blistering but it was no longer pussy and gross looking. The blue hedgehog only blinks he really hadn't notice how bad the area was, of course he felt it but to him, thought it was normal, just a side effect of not having the medication injected into there, but really couldn't respond to that question either cause he doesn't remember much that had happened with him and the Jackal. All those memories were a blurry though he always remembered feeling sore afterwards and sick to his stomach, the only time he could remember getting the injection was when he was forced to have a physical lesson about sex. "Forget it Sonic, it's obvious you don't remember"

Sonic just looked down he didn't like how disappointed Shadow sounded with him, he just hide in how he felt, he can fake his emotions right? The ebony hedgehog didn't need to feel disappointed in him if just faked happiness, it would on be for Shadow's sake and that's all that matters to the blue hedgehog.

Shadow felt his arm being jolted forward and he stumbles a little before following behind the blue hedgehog, this was a start at least. He didn't feel like he was trying to babysit a grown ass adult. He just watched the blue hedgehog start to put on his socks and shoes, the ebony hedgehog doing the same.

So can we go outside?

Shadow blinks he hadn't really been asked that question, sure he never really kept Sonic locked up he always had the doors unlocked after the blue hedgehog had started seeing his therapist, but the azure hedgehog barely went out, unless it was just get something for Rouge or the ebony hedgehog, but the hedgehog did look a little cheerful, maybe some fresh air is all they needed, even if Shadow hadn't be locked up inside as much.

"Sure why not"

Sonic only forced a smile though it looked genuine, he was getting the hang of hiding his emotions and he just started to pull on the handcuffs to drag Shadow along with him. When they got to front door the blue hedgehog was hesitant, the memories of his attempts of escape the Headquarters, came flooding back to him. His body started to shake a little bit but he just opened the door and hoped to get shocked by the collar but instead was greeted with light from the sun and the sudden pull of Shadow walking outside. The blue hedgehog forced to follow after the red and black hedgehog, the hedgehog was kind of glad the collar didn't shock him he was just trailing behind Shadow but not far behind cause of the handcuffs.

Shadow didn't seemed to be bother by the slight hesitation from the blue hedgehog when it came to opening the door after being in isolation for so long and having to deal with G.U.N, the ebony hedgehog took a deep breath of the fresh air and just started to walk dragging Sonic along with him, the blue hedgehog did look happy to be outside and seeing all of what the world has to offers.

Sonic wasn't happy at all, he honestly felt nothing about being outside the one thing he's been look for to cause being in isolation for so long and only heard what the outside world was like from the Agents, but for Shadow's sake he just forced himself to be happy which was working.
