"Have you officially lost your mind?" Steve asked the young woman as he turned to her with a surprised and confused expression. "Stealing from the Smithsonian museums? Do you have any idea how insane that sounds?" Heather sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "Yes, I am aware. But if we don't do something, priceless artifacts will be stolen and possibly lost for good. Do you have a better idea?" Steve scoffed. "Yeah, maybe we could surprise them and try to stop them in the act." "And risk breaking something or someone getting injured, or worse. This is HYDRA we're talking about. They won't show mercy and if there's a way to stop them without going face to face I would prefer the ladder." Steve still didn't agree with her on stealing the artifacts first, but he could understand where she was coming from. "Buck?" He asked as he turned to his friend. "What do you think?" Steve snd Heather looked at him, desperately waiting for a response. He would be their deciding factor. "Let's do it."
"Papa," Tara said as she entered the small room at the nursing home. She thanked the nurse who led her to his room and watched as she left. Once she was sure no one was around and no one was listening she walked over to the crippling old man in the hospital bed. She took a manilla folder from her bag and handed it to the man. His thin and shaky fingers gingerly grasped the paper folder. "Everything's just like you said." Tara added and the man opened the folder and began flipping through medical documents full of data. Each document had one name clearly printed at the top, "HAZEL SMITH", Heather's fake name. "She's a medical Marvel." Tara added and she took a seat next to the man. The man chuckled softly to himself as he read every single detail in the papers that Tara, his daughter, had brought him. "This is wonderful." He said, voice dry and aged. "Thank you, Papa Alexi." She thanked him before taking the folder and documents from him and stowing them away in her bag. "Keep up the good work, my dear." "Yes, papa." Tara went to leave before Alexi called her name and she turned to him. "Hail HYDRA." her papa's dry voice called to her and she nodded before replying. "Hail HYDRA."
"Any idea what HYDRA might be looking at to steal?" Heather didn't even hesitate "The Hope Diamond." She said and both men gave her a concerned look of how she knew the answer so fast. "And why do you think that is?" Steve asked her with keen blue eyes. "The Hope Diamond is one of the most priceless artifacts at the Smithsonian museums. Not to mention the notorious curse that follows it. It has to be that." Bucky shrugged. "Alright." He replied. "Where is this 'Hope Diamond'?" "The museum of natural history, when it's on display that is." "Okay," Steve replied, nodding in response. "So then, what's the plan?" He asked looking from Bucky to Heather. "Heather will continue her blood tests, see if she can hear or find out any more details that could help us out. Me and Steve are gonna check out the museum and this Hope Diamond. Figure out the security and all possible entries and exits. We'll start up a plan of how we're gonna steal this thing, there's something I never thought I'd do again after leaving HYDRA." Bucky said with a small grin. Heather cocked her head as she looked at him curiously. "You never stole after leaving HYDRA? How did you get by?" She asked. "I had people to look out for me." Bucky said as he looked over at Steve who grinned slightly. Heather sighed. "That must have been nice."
