Mondays. I hate them! I put on a red hoodie, since it was November, with black pants. I also put on my famous red bandana, I never go outside without it. I slowly walked downstairs, barely awake. 'Morning May,' my mom said happily. How can she be so happy? I made a weird grumpy noise and ate my breakfast. 'Going to school, bye,' I said walking out the door.

'MAY! What's up?' my best friend, Dawn, said, full of energy, like always. 'The sky,' I answered. 'Haha, very funny. Don't be so grumpy, it doesn't fit your personality,' she commented. 'Just a few more minutes,' I said with a small smirk. She just rolled her eyes.

'GOODMORNING CLASS!' our crazy professor, professor Oak, screamed. And yes, I have the right to call him crazy. Every new kid here is asked the same question by him: 'Are you a boy, or a girl?'. And since they're new, they have no idea how to react, like Meadow, she's new this year, the poor kid. Also, he forgets his grandsons name a lot. His grandson! Ash once tried to convince him that Gary's name was Poohead, and he believed it for an hour! Professor Juniper had to tell him that it wasn't his name.

'Students! I've been thinking for a while, and I've came up with an amazing new project! And I'm proud to present to you, Project: Love!' he shouted excitedly. Oh no... 'You have no choice, you have to join, because this will be you Math and Chemistry grade, because I can do that! I'll explain the rules to you. This project is to test if you can fall in love in 3 months. I have made pairs, and you are going to test it! Since I'm famous and rich, I have bought a mansion with 11 rooms. You have to stay there till Christmas. Don't worry, you will share a room with someone of the same gender. And since you are with an uneven number of kids, I have asked someone to join this project, ' he proudly exclaimed. The whole class groaned. 'I have already informed your parents, so don't worry about that! Also, you have to hold hands in the school hallways, and sit next to each other in class. Now I'll announce who you're paired with. Oh, and the guy that is joining us is Gladion!' he said as Gladion walked in the classroom. 'Gladion?'I heard Lillie ask. 'Uhm, yeah... Math and Chemistry aren't my best subjects...' he whispered as he said down next to Hau.

'On with the project! The pairs are: Ash and Misty!' I saw them looking at each other, while Misty gave him an irritated look.

'Dawn and Kenny!' I saw Kenny's face lit up.

'Ehm, professor? I already have a boyfriend,' Dawn said raising her hand. Kenny's face immediately became sad.

'Oh, well, I don't want to ruin that, so you can go with your boyfriend. Who is he?' he asked her.

'Paul,' she answered.

'Okay, than… Melody and Kenny, and Dawn and Paul!' he said.

'Next we have... Meadow and Barry!' he spoke up. They would actually make a good pair, both super energetic, and love to sport.

'Lillie and Gladion!' I heard the class laugh.

'Professor! Gladion is my brother!' Lillie said embarrassed.

'Really? Oh, then... Lillie and Hau and... Gladion and Moon!' he shouted.

'NEXT is... Iris and Brendan!' Iris was lucky, Brendan is a nice guy.

'Serena and Kiawe!' I don't think they've ever spoke a word to each other, honestly...

'Leaf and Drew!' Wait what?! Leaf is supposed to be with Gary!

'May and Gary!' No, no, no, no! Leaf and Gary!

Professor Oak continued. 'Brianna and Clemont. And last but not least, Mallow and Calem! So, now you know who you're paired with, you can sit next to each other! AND NO SWITCHING!' he exclaimed.

I glanced over to Gary, who sat next between Drew. He also looked to me and gave looked at me like 'I'm-not-moving-so-you're-coming-here', while I gave him a 'no-way-I'm-not-coming-you-come-sit-here' look. Apparently my look was more intimidating because he stood up and sat next to me. 'You're lucky, being paired up with me,' he said giving a wink. My response was a smack from my hand in his face. 'Ouch that hurts!' he whined. 'You asked for it'. This was going to be interesting...

Dawn's Pov

After class was over, I waited till everybody left. I marched over to professor Oak's desk and slammed my fist on it, trying to catch his attention. 'Dawn! What is it?' he asked looking up. 'YOU RUINED MY SHIPS!' I yelled. He was silent for a moment. 'Well then who do you ship with who?' he asked. 'MAY AND DREW! GARY AND LEAF! Also Serena and Clemont and Mallow and Kiawe!' I screamed. 'Well, too bad. No switching! You can leave now,' he said, drawing his attention back to his computer. AAGH!
