I look at the doctor. "As Mistress says, I was attacked by another Programmed. I trust that the proper actions are being taken against the offending individual."

"Ok, I will leave you alone for now. Next week, we plan to begin therapy. Only if you are ready. Until then, take these pills. I am having a guard assigned to you to avoid anymore attacks from other Progammed. Do you have a preference?"

I try not to sound too eager. "Ma'am I would prefer if Aukland were to guard me."

"Which one? There are two brothers. Jacob or David?"

"I believe his name is David, ma'am."

"Okay," she chirps. "I will call David in here!" The doctor jots somethings down on her clipboard and saunters out of the room. I enjoy the silence for a few moments until Aimee walks into the room slamming the door.

"Hello, how are you feeling companion?" Aimee asks. She seems to be keeping up the act for the cameras. They have the ability to pick up speech. "Sapphire, Mistress has given everyone updates. We can now have 'companions'."

"Cool, am I your companion?"

"Well, you can be. You need to get the update. Wait until you are feeling better. Isn't Mistress the best woman in the entire world?" She must know this room is under heavy surveillance

"Yes, she is Aimee. Mistress was gracious enough escort me here."

Aimee stares into space like she is getting an MM (mind message). "Sapphire. I am being paged. Talk to you later future companion." Before she leaves Aimee drops a piece of folded paper on my bed. She opens door, turns to me, winks, and bolts out.

I slowly pick up the paper and unfold it. Scrawled in Aimee's hand writing was 'I know what happened. Mistress won't get away with it. I have something to show you as soon as you are out of there. Meet me behind the punching bag that's in the right corner of the gym as soon as you are released. Sincerely, Aimee.'
