I quickly fold up the paper as Aukland walks in. "So, I didn't know that you had a brother," I state.

"Well, uh, er, yeah. I have a brother." The way David stumbles over his words proves he has something to hide. I wonder what.

"David, it's okay. You don't have to talk about it. By the way, I still want my bagel," I joke.

"I'll try to get you a bagel." David hugs me.

"OW OW OW OW! TENDER AREAS!"

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! What hurts?"

"Everything!" Duh.

David leaves for a minute and returns with a doctor. The doctor has salt and pepper hair and smile wrinkles by his eyes. "Here take this. It will help with the pain." The doctor holds out a bottle of pills. "Take one right now. You will get a bit drowsy."

I swallow one pill and I automatically feel tired. "I'm getting kinda sleepy," I slur. The world goes black.
