Cornelia pov
I was in the common room reading when James came in.

He sat down and spoke.
"Are you busy this weekend?" I nodded my head.
"Yeah. I'm going with Remus." James frowned.
"Again?" I stopped working and looked at him.
"Are you seriously jealous?"
"No!"
"You are!" James sighed and spoke.
"I'm sorry. It's just hard." I smiled and took his hand.
"James. Remus is like a brother to me. Nothing more." He sighed and smiled.
"I know. I'm just upset." I chuckled and went back to studying with James' "help" of course.

That night I went with Remus to the shrieking shack.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Remus. We have been over this a million times. This is the reason I snuck that book and became an animagus." Remus sighed and smiled.
"Thank you." I nodded and spoke.
"Let's go. Don't want to be caught out here when you are a big fur ball."
"Hey!" I laughed and he rolled his eyes playfully.

We went in and I did a few spells Mum had taught me then transformed and waited.

Remus sank down in pain and soon became a werewolf. I went over and laid down just waiting. Finally Remus noticed me so I went over cautiously. He bent down and sniffed me. Then he lit up and nudged me lightly with his nose. I sighed with relief and jumped up. Soon the two of us were playing and having fun.

Once we settled for the night I curled up against Remus and yawned. He stared at me then put his head over my body. I smiled and closed my eyes falling asleep.

I woke up to see Remus still sound asleep but in human form. I got up and stretched. I got a few bandages and things before I heard Remus waking up. I went over and spoke.
"Hey Rem." He opened his eyes and spoke.
"Morning Lia." I smiled and helped him sit up.
"Let me help you then Mum should be here any minute." Remus nodded and took a deep breath. I cleaned his wounds and dressed them as much as I could. I helped him stand up and we went out.

Once Mum settled Remus in I went to the dorm. I was exhausted.

I changed then snuck back to the hospital wing.

I was about to open the door when I heard voices.
"We know what you are Remus." I heard Sirius say.
"What are you talking about?" James spoke up.
"Remus. You were supposed to be home and you weren't. You've been like this since our first year and Lia keeps sneaking off with you. We put everything together." Remus hesitated so I opened the door.
"What are you doing?" I asked. James looked at me.
"Lia." I growled and went over.
"What were you thinking?"
"Us?! What about you?!" I sighed and glared at James.
"You shut up about the jealousy. I have had it James Potter. Remus is our best friend and he needed help so I chose to help him. If you have a problem with that then I do not want to be around you ever again." James looked shocked then sighed.
"I'm sorry Lia. It was just a lot to take in." James sat down next to Remus and spoke.
"Remus. You could have just told us mate." Sirius nodded his head.
"Yeah. Isn't that what's best mates are for?" Remus looked down and spoke.

"I understand if you don't want to be around me anymore." James spoke.
"You're not a monster Remus." Peter nodded and spoke.
"Yeah, you've just got a little problem." Sirius grinned and spoke.
"A fury little problem." Remus looked shocked then smiled.
"Thanks guys." I grinned and shared a smile with James.

Later I was laying on James' bed reading a book. He came in and grinned. James walked over and hovered over me.
"You look nice." I smiled and spoke.
"Really?"
"Yes." He got on the bed and spoke.
"Are you okay?" I nodded my head and curled into him. We quickly fell asleep side by side.

Two years later
I was laying in the compartment waiting for boys.

It was our fourth year and I couldn't wait for it to begin. James and I had been together for two years now and I really enjoyed being with him.

I sighed put my book down and drew for a bit before the door opened. James came in and moved my head then plopped down next to me.

He put my head in his lap and I laughed.
"Yes?" He grinned and spoke.
"You look beautiful." I laughed and spoke.
"You don't look so bad yourself." He grinned and spoke.
"I know." I rolled my eyes and laughed. James reached down and played with my hair for a bit. I smiled and continued to draw before the other boys came in. Sirius sat on the other side of me and took my drawings to look at. I curled into James and relaxed.

Later I was headed to Mum's office. I knocked and went in.
"Mum?" She looked up and smiled.
"Hello sweetheart." I went in and closed the door. I sat down and Mum put some tea in front of me.
"Everything alright sweetheart?" I nodded and spoke.
"Mum. Did you ever really love Dad?" Mum looked at me shocked then sighed and came over. She sat next to me on the couch then spoke.
"I did at one time. What brought this on?" I got tears in my eyes then spoke.
"James." Mum rubbed my back and spoke.
"Do you love him?" I nodded and spoke.
"Yes. I really do and I am so scared of loosing him. I am scared because of this war." Mum pulled me close and kissed my head.
"Sweetheart. James loves you so much and I know you are scared but don't be. He will always love you and be here for you. You two will do amazing things together and be here for each other." I hugged her and closed my eyes.
