Everyone says that teachers are like our parents, teaching us what is bad, what is good, what is wrong, and what is right. However, for her, her professor Namjoon turned out to be more like a best friend.

Y/N is 18 years old and quite good in her studies. She dreams of becoming an engineer, but her life took a turn she never anticipated, even in her dreams.

Y/N's mother passed away shortly after giving birth to her. Just two days after her mother's death, her father remarried the woman he always wanted to be with. He blamed Y/N for her mother's death, even though he never loved Y/N's mother.

Her life was going smoothly until her grandmother died when she was seven years old. Those seven years were the best of her life. Her grandmother gave her everything and loved her like a mother, father, brother, sister, and friend.

After her grandmother's death,
Y/N felt utterly alone. Her stepmother began to insult her,beat her, even more, as there was no longer anyone to shield her from her father's and stepmother's cruelty.

She has a ten-year-old stepbrother whom she loves like her own brother, but her stepmother dislikes Y/N's presence around him and restricts their interactions.

Y/N deserves love from her father, but he and her stepmother treat her like trash. Her stepmother makes her do all the house chores, even when she was still very young. Although her stepmother pretends to love Y/N, but the reality was quite different.

Despite the challenges, Y/N worked hard and earned a scholarship. She was thrilled that her dream of becoming an engineer was within reach. However, her first day of
high-school turned out to be a bad experience; she was bullied by other students.

Y/N didn't know how to fight back. She had never spoken up for herself and felt afraid of people. She couldn’t confide in her parents because they would never understand.

Namjoon, her professor who teaches English and Mathematics, recognized her potential. Known for being a good student, Y/N consistently submitted her assignments on time and focused intently on her studies.

Recently, however, Namjoon noticed a change in her demeanor. She wasn’t paying attention in class like before and scored low marks on her tests. He considered calling her parents but decided to give her a chance, knowing that she was an intelligent student.
