Y/N was sitting on the edge of her bed, scrolling through her new phone. A small, fleeting smile adorned her face, one that Namjoon couldn’t help but cherish. He stood near the mirror, knotting his tie, his eyes constantly drifting to her.
That smile it was all he ever wanted to see.
"Come on, get up" Namjoon said gently but firmly. "It’s been two weeks since the form was submitted. You need to meet the principal and tell him the real reason for leaving school, okay?"
Y/N’s fingers paused on the screen as she looked up at him, her smile fading. "I don’t want to go... please" she murmured, her voice trembling as she made a small pout.
Namjoon sighed, stepping closer to her. He crouched slightly, so their eyes met. "It’s necessary" he said, his tone softening as his gaze locked with hers. "You have to tell him, Y/N. If you don’t, those students will keep bullying others. Do you want that? No, right? Then let’s go. You’re stronger than this."
Y/N stared at him for a moment, her lower lip quivering.
Namjoon placed his hand on her shoulder, his expression tender. "I’ll wait right outside the principal’s office. When you come out I’ll take you home. No one will hurt you again okay? I’m here. I’m with you."
His words were her lifeline. Slowly, she nodded, her resolve flickering to life under his reassuring gaze.
She got up from the bed, placing a protective hand on her belly. It was slightly visible nowa constant reminder of her fear and her pain.
Her mind raced as she walked toward the bathroom to get ready. What if Yeon-joon see me? What if he hurt me again? But then she remembered Namjoon. He was there, a steady anchor in her storm, and she drew strength from his presence.
When they arrived at the school, Namjoon held her wrist lightly, leading her through the hallway. The familiar walls felt suffocating, but his touch kept her grounded. They reached the principal’s office, and Namjoon stopped, turning to face her.
"You’ve got this" he said, nodding encouragingly.
Her heart pounded in her chest as he gently pushed the door open. She looked back at him, her eyes pleading. "Stay here, please."
"I’ll be right here...don't worry" he assured her, giving her a small, encouraging smile.
Steeling herself, Y/N stepped into the office.
"Hello, sir" she said softly as she entered.
The principal looked up from his desk and gestured to the chair in front of him. "Hello, Y/N. Have a seat."
"Thank you" she whispered, sitting down. Her palms were sweating, and she clasped her hands tightly on her lap.
"So" the principal began, leaning forward slightly, "why do you want to leave school?"
Y/N took a deep breath, her throat dry. "I... I was being bullied" she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "It’s too much for me to bear. That’s why I can’t continue my studies here."
The principal’s brows furrowed in concern. "Bullied? Who’s doing this? Why didn’t you come to me sooner?"
Y/N hesitated, her fingers digging into her knees. "I did, sir. I asked my homeroom teacher for help, but she refused. She said... she said Ha-ri is your granddaughter, so no one would take any action against her."
The principal’s face darkened, and he straightened in his chair. "That’s unacceptable" he said firmly. "If someone is in the wrong, I won’t support them, no matter who they are. I’ll take action against Ha-ri. Are her group members troubling other students too?"
Y/N nodded slowly. "Yes. That’s why I want to leave school." Her voice cracked, and she looked away, blinking back tears. "Can I go now, sir?"
The principal shook his head. "I’ll deal with this, Y/N. You don’t have to leave school."
Y/N’s breathing quickened, and she clutched her stomach protectively. "Sir... I can’t continue my studies in this condition. They’ve bullied me so much that..... And now..." She stopped, her voice breaking as tears welled in her eyes.
The principal leaned forward, his concern deepening. "I don’t understand, Y/N. What are you trying to say? I should meet your parents."
She looked down, her tears falling freely. "My parents left me on the streets when they found out about my pregnancy even if it's a rapist's. If I stay here, he’ll kill this..." Her voice cracked as she pointed to her slightly swollen belly. "He’ll hurt me again."
The principal’s eyes widened, and his jaw clenched. "Who did this to you?" he demanded, his voice firm but laced with sympathy. "I promise, Y/N, I won’t let them get away with it."
"I can’t..." she whispered, shaking her head. "They have my videos. I can’t say anything."
The principal sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. "You should have told me earlier" he said, his tone softer now.
Y/N stood abruptly, her tears blurring her vision. "I have to go now.... Thank you for your concern, sir." Before he could say anything more, she bolted from the room.
Outside, Namjoon saw her tear-streaked face and immediately rushed to her side. His heart ached at the sight of her pain.
"What happened?" he asked, his voice soft but filled with worry.
Y/N forced a small smile, though it didn’t reach her eyes. "Let’s go."
Namjoon didn’t press further. He wrapped his arm protectively around her and led her out of the school. After consoling her, he dropped her home, promising to be back soon.
But as he walked back into the school, his jaw tightened, and his eyes burned with determination.
After the exhausted day when Namjoon came home from school, the faint sound of voices reached his ears as he entered the house. It didn’t take long for him to recognize who it was.....Her, he sighed shaking his head at her stubbornness.
No matter how much he told her to rest, she always found a reason to be up and about doing something. Dropping his bag by the door he quietly made his way to his room.
After freshening up, he decided to head to the kitchen. His steps were slow, almost hesitant as though he already knew what awaited him.
When he entered the scene before him made him stop in his tracks, she looked so ethereal. That was the only word that came to his mind. She stood by the stove cooking skillfully her messy hair falling onto her face as she focused entirely on the pan.
She hadn’t noticed him yet. The soft glow of the kitchen lights reflected off her features making her look like something out of a dream. He was mesmerized unable to tear his gaze away.
Namjoon didn’t even remember the box he placed in the living room, he palmed his forehead in frustration. He turned on his heels and headed to the living room to grab the small gift he’d picked up for her earlier. Returning to the kitchen, he placed the box gently on the counter beside her.
She looked up at him, her brows furrowed slightly in confusion before her eyes darted to the box. "Is this for me?" she asked, her voice curious, her gaze attempting to decipher what was inside.
Namjoon nodded with a small smile. "All yours… though, I’m not sure if you’ll like it"
Before he could finish, she had already opened the box. The gasp she let out was enough to make his heart swell.
"Wow! Brownies! I love brownies!" she exclaimed, her face lighting up like a small kid. She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with genuine joy. "Thank you....thank you so much! I love you! I love you!"
Her excitement spilled over as she suddenly grabbed him by his shirt and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek.
Namjoon froze, His mind went blank as her lips left a warm imprint on his skin. She seemed too caught up in her happiness to realize what she’d done, but when the realization hit her, her cheeks flushed a deep red. She stepped back placing a hand over her mouth avoiding his gaze entirely.
He cleared his throat, trying to ease the tension. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop doing everything yourself? Just… leave it, okay? Go sit and eat."
Her mood instantly brightened again and she nodded eagerly. Taking two brownies on a plate, she made her way to the dining table.
She didn’t look at him, instead focusing solely on her treat. Namjoon followed her and sat across the table watching her quietly.
Her happiness was infectious. The way she bit into the brownie with enthusiasm, the little hum of satisfaction she let out as the soft texture melted in her mouth it was all so endearing.
Her cheeks puffed slightly as she stuffed more than one bite at a time, completely immersed in the experience.
Namjoon couldn’t help but smile, though something deeper stirred within him. He couldn’t stop his gaze from drifting to the way her lips glistened with a trace of chocolate. The way her tongue darted out to lick the corner of her mouth without her even realizing it.
His throat tightened. The soft moans she let out with every bite, the way her expressions showed nothing but pure joy it was too much.
His body tensed and he shifted in his chair uncomfortably. It had been two months since they’d started living together and in all that time he had done everything in his power to control himself.
But tonight? Tonight, he was done controlling.
He stood up slowly his chair scraping against the floor but she didn’t notice. She was still too engrossed in the brownies. He took a step toward her and then another until he was right beside her.

Gently, he placed his hands on her waist lifting her effortlessly and placing her on the table.
Her eyes widened, finally realizing his presence. "S-sir?" she stammered, but her voice was soft, almost breathless.
"NAMJOON....call me Namjoon..how many time I've told you not to call me sir." He corrected her. His eyes were locked on her lips the hint of chocolate teasing him. Slowly, he leaned in and licked the chocolate from the corner of her mouth.
She froze. Her breath hitched and she blinked rapidly her mind struggling to process what had just happened.
Namjoon pulled back just enough to trap her between his arms, his hands resting on the table on either side of her. The spoon was still clutched in her hand forgotten. Her lips parted slightly as she swallowed hard, her cheeks flushing deeper.
Without thinking, he stepped closer nudging her legs apart and positioning himself between them. She stared at him her wide eyes searching his for answers for clarity.
Her heart raced each beat loud enough to drown out everything else. She wanted to speak to say something anything but the intensity in his gaze rendered her silent.
Namjoon’s voice was low, barely above a whisper. "You have no idea what you have done to me."
She shivered at the raw emotion in his tone. For a moment, time seemed to stop. The world around them faded, leaving only the two of them, the unspoken tension between them grew thicker by the second.
