[NEWS] Mnet said Kang Daniel's punishment would be not getting the 4th song but will still continue to be in the show (original article from Naver; info cr. 101boys_global)

This is just a summary of the articles I found:

For their "Concept Evaluation" (from season 1, it's when they performed "Yum Yum", "Don't Matter", "Fingertips", "In The Same Place" and "24 Hours"), there's a new rule that it will not be the trainees who will choose the concept they want themselves (which what was the previous rule in season 1) but fans will vote on Mnet's site what song they want a particular trainee to perform (or something like, fans can group the boys as to who will perform what song). [Note: Bad news is, only those with CJONE IDs can vote again 😭😭]

So, a fan asked Daniel in DC Gallery to change his IG profile description with the number of cat emojis corresponding to the number of the song he want to do (so they can vote for it for him). He initially had one cat emoji on his profile but changed it to four (which is corresponding to the song "Never" by Deep House). It was actually not allowed for trainees to post/publicize anything (in any kind or manner) which will delibrately influence the votes. The fans were thinking this is too much to just call it a mere coincidence hence they were accusing him of foul/unfair play (as presumably the others might want to do a particular song as well but were just keeping quiet, and this can put Daniel on an advantage-- these were just some of the comments)

After that, he changed his profile description for several times: once he wrote an apology saying he will reflect on his actions and that he is sorry, but later on he removed his apology and set his IG account to private. Mnet hasn't spoken about what they're going to do with him yet and so far they were still discussing.

Ain't related to this matter but this is just another news:

Yoon Jisung has also recently set his IG account to private due to the hate comments he has been receiving since after EP 5 (when the rankings were revealed and he placed 3rd). [this is just from what I've seen/read--] There were comments like he's just a MEME (or got popular only for his funny reactions in the show) and is not really talented, even comparing him to Sohye.
